I used to live in Melbourne so I know the hotels fairly well, it choose this one because of it's very close proximity to the interstate and most of the amenities downtown Melbourne has to offer.

We had a nice room on the 2nd floor that overlooked the pool and the ocean beyond. Beautiful common rooms. Wine and cheese at 5 and a nice simple breakfast with quiche and cinnamon rolls. Honor bar. Very nice bed and breakfast feel.

The staff watching our every move because we were black. the manager was nasty and rude , had no customer service skills at all and not only that they charge my credit card additional fees when I already paid them in cash. I will not stay there never ever again or no other holiday for that

Was very nice, only complaint would be extra people on Sunday morning question if a party of sorts in the eating area. We ate at a restaurant but others were unhappy since there was no place for them to sit. We wondered why they didn't have the event in the conference room.

My stay was excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was simply beautiful and clean. Yes, I will stay there again and again. My only disappointment was that there was no shuttle service to the airport- otherwise- I was extremely happy!!!!!!

The hotel was very convenient. BUT........ We had made a reservation for a party of three persons. I accepted an offer for 3 persons by Hotels.com. When we checked out at the frontoffice the hotel presented us an additional reciept for the thirth person in our party for 10 dollar (ex-tax) extra per day. They said that they had called the reservationoffice […] for these additional costs. I did not believe them, but did not want to argue this because I likely would lose it . The hotel promised to call the booking office again to verify. But you guessed it ..... never recieved any response or money back. Read more

The hotel was perfect. Could have been a little closer to my friends residence, but overal the hotel was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast was good. It did not feel like a 5 star hotel, but for the price it was perfect!

Unfortunately, the carpet in 1st room I was given was soaking wet. I didn't notice it until I was unpacked. I had to pack all my stuff and move to another room which was a big inconvenience. The 2nd room was fine.

I enjoyed my stay at Palm Bay Holiday Inn Express and Suites. It is close to Melbourne beaches. Close to I-95. The room is exceptional. The room is very clean. It had every thing I needed. It even had a little sink. King Suite is the way to go. The Flat screen HDTV are a nice touch. The only minor complaints I had was the Wi-Fi is not strong. I stayed for two nights and I have no complaints! The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue I have (and this is relates to all hotels) is that noise that the room doors make when closing. If someone could invent a noiseless door they would be a millionaire!
