Hotel Vista Express - Bangkok

Location is very convenient if you want to shop at either platinum mall or pratunam market. The hotel reception is on 2nd floor and the 1st floor are shops adjacent to pratunam market and they open very early (6 a.m) but not all shops open this early, if you want to see all the shops open, go there at 8 a.m. It is also very close to a 24-hour mcd and […] food shops selling good food. Across the hotel is a 7-11. The hotel itself is newly renovated however they charge for teas and coffees, the only thing they provide is 2 botles of water. The room is in good size however I found it very dark, in an inconvenient way especially when you want to otganize your stuffs and do packings. The bathroom has some smell near the drainage holes and the shower is about 10 cm down from the bathroom floor. I realised this may be done on purpose as the drainage is not working well. Not long after I opened the shower, it's flooding. At the end of my shower (15 mins after I open the shower) the flood level reach approx 5 cm. Overall I will try not to stay at here again mainly because of the drainage problem, the smell it brings and the darkness of the room. I did complained to the receptionist about the room darkness and she said yes it is dark and all of the rooms have the same conditions. The good thing is they provide you with a weight scale on the reception so after you shop you can weight your luggage. Read more

Hotel is directly opposite platinum fashion mall and is located at the pratunam market. So its great for shoppers. Walking distance to central world as well. Good cheap Thai food in the neighbourhood. Rooms were decent. Clean but insufficient lighting in room.

It is very near to platinum mall. Below the hotel is pratunam market. Hotel staff are helpful and best of all it has weighing scale for u to weigh ur luggage before flying back.

The location of the hotel was good, as it is just stone throw away from The Platinum Mall (~ 200m) and around the hotel are the wholesale market which cheap stuff can be found. Me and my friends stayed there for 2 nights. There are some pros and cons throughout our stay. PROS - The hotel is quite clean and new, the bed is comfortable with soft pillow. If you are there for shopping, this hotel is really near Platinum Mall(5 mins walk) and Central World(10mins walk). There are many food stalls and massage place nearby the hotel. […] Easy to get tuk tuk or taxi at the main road. CONS - The front desk are not too polite neither helpful, we were there for check in at 1pm but we were told that the room are not ready. So we left our luggage at the front desk and when we are back at 6pm, there are some changes for the room and we have to carry our own luggage to the room. There are no safety box in the room, no chair at the make up table, no slippers provided. WIFI connection are not stable. webサイトの地図とホテルの場所が異なっていた。このため近くと思われる場所に来てからホテルまで２時間ほどかかった。住所を見せて近くの人に聞いたが判らず、タクシーもわからないと拒否された。やっとホテルを知っているという親切な人がタクシーを止めてタクシーの運転手に場所を教えてくれてホテルへ行くことができた。予定も狂ったし、大きな荷物を持って探し回り大変疲れた。 場所もwebサイトの地図の場所より悪く、この場所であれば選んでいなかったと思う。かんぐればホテルの人も地図の間違いを知っているようでもあったが敢えて訂正していない（地図のほうがいい場所だから）と疑われた。
