Good hotel for foreign travelers
Good hotel overall. Located in 7~8 minutes walk from the station. Clean and comfort room. A bit old but well maintained. Native-speaking staff. Breakfast provided just at 3.5 USD. looked specialized for foreign travelers.

Helpful staff, convenient location, great value
Pros: Location is near JR line (Yamanote), 7/11 around the corner, cheap food nearby. Staff was tremendously helpful, very important when you don't speak japanese. The majority of japanese wouldn't understand English or able to help you out although they want to. Cons: Tiny room, wasn't a problem for us but for larger people maybe.

Great for single travelers
I was traveling by myself to Japan for the first time and had absolutely no idea what to expect. This hotel couldn't have been more perfect for me. While the location isn't the easiest to find at first, it's located just blocks from two major train lines. The staff is friendly and helpful. The single room is small, as to be expected, but has everything you need and the cafe is a really nice convenience, particularly the 300 yen breakfast. I loved that they had US outlets in the room and that they let you leave your bag all day after you'd checked out. I couldn't have been happier with my stay.
