Yeats Country Hotel, Spa & Leisure Club - Rosses Point

Stayed here before and would stay again. Location great for touring around, Staff very friendly. Atmosphere a bit old fashioned but nice. Room large and very comfortable. T.V only had local channels but normally had B.B.C ,CNN etc. Needed repair.

We enjoyed our stay at Yeats and the young girl at the check in was extremely helpful with directions in the Sligo area. The hotel should have maps available to visotors of the Sligo area. Coffee in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was good. Views from our room were also excellent.

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) had a lovely stay at Yeats Country Hotel. The hotel furnishings and decor are a little tired but all was clean and more than adequate for our needs. While the hotel is a little old school, it has a definite charm & a nice change from the sameness of most hotels these days. Staff were spot on & very helpful. Rooms were spacious & weel kept All around a good experience.

The bed was comfortable, the breakfast decent, if limited, but the shower in my room dripped noisily all night and didn't heat up properly in the morning.

We are family of 5 and the size of the room was excellent. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. The only downside we found was the double bed was too soft and wasnt very comfortable.

A Very family orientated venue. we added an extra child to our booking and on speaking to the hotel directly, they put another single bed in the room and the child had breakfast all for an extra £10! The rooms are basic but extremely spacious. ours had 1 double bed, 2 singles and a double sofa bed we still had plenty of space. the bar has entertainment […] and children were permitted (although ours were too tired after enjoying the leisure complex) i would recommend this hotel to families .Avoid the food in the bar however it was awful! We arrived at 5pm 2 adults and 3 kids - kids had to get stright to the pool. Pool is lovely nice warm temperature great way to unwind after the journey. The room was big enough for double bed and 3 single beds and a sofa - so we were very happy. On arrival we were told the price quoted did not include breakfast for the kids and had to pay £5 each for […] each day £30 in total. It would have been nice to have known this from the time of booking. as booking information statedfamily room buffet breakfast . Breakfast was very good - only one point is that it is kept warm in a big servery with alot of steam and you have to take the metal lid off each item - you could very easily got burned. We did not eat in the hotel in the evening - choosing instead to walk down the road to 2 local places each night . Both of them very good - Austies and Waterfront. The kids prefered to stay with us in the evening - they went to the kids club one evening and found it boring - the movie they were showing was about 5-10 years old. This could maybe do with an upgrade and a bit more enthausim from the club leaders. In all we had a great time -in the evenings the lounge areas were very comfortable to sit and relax. I stayed for one night mid-week and found the price very competitive even when compared with local B & Bs. With the added bonus of being able to use the pool and leisure centre my stay was greatly enhanced. Breakfast was good and my room was clean. staff very friendly and food very nice

We were very comfortable and the Staff could not have been more helpful. This was a very pleasant stay and we would certainly recommend it to our friends.

i stayed in the hotel for two nights.the room was large and had lovely views of the sea. there were perhaps too many beds in the room for just one person- a double and two single beds,however saying that the bed was lovely and comfortable. the breakfast was lovely and it ran until 11am which was great. i had a front ground floor room and considering […] i was so close to the road the room was so quiet.the onlt down fall to the room was the tv with very poor reception and the large keyring attached to the key which was clumsy and would not fit in my pocket. Nice location. A bit tired though, needs a bit of tlc everywhere except the bar!. Breakfast could do with more fresh produce - rolls,fruit,coffee.

En arrivant nous étions un peu déçu par l'aspect de l'hôtel. La chambre n'avait elle non plus rien de vraiment folichon bien que le lit soit confortable (goût de chiotte pour les couleurs). Old fashion hotel not in perfect updated shape, but we arrived late and left early. Breakfast was good and service ok. Pieceful area with nice view. Low value for money if you keep location out.
