Just returned from spending 3 nights in Milan.....this hotel is fantastic! The management team should thank the staff because they are truly what people in the hospitality business should be!!! The hotel has a modern flair, but yet feel very homey. Typical of most European hotel rooms, they are not huge but are planned out perfectly so as not to feel […] cramped. The windows actually open, which my friend and I loved. Although I will say, it was sometimes to loud to keep open overnight. I think this is a great hotel for friends, couples,business travel, etc., but the rooms may be to small for families unless you get more than one room. A wonderful up scale and GREAT Hotel. The staff and facilities were excellent. It is a "WOW" hotel in every way. It is a 30 second walk to the Duomo. Shopping and food are everyone. This is great hotel for the center of Milan. We will stay again.

What a great stay in Milan ! The hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful and for the most part spoke perfect English (vs. my non-existent Italian). The room was very comfortable with an excellent shower and bath - you can just barely hear the tram cars going by outside but it was not disturbing.

I only stayed one night so these are just limited impressions. I was checked into room on the second floor that over looked a tram. I could hear the brakes squeeking quite loadly. I requested they change my room. They put me on the fourth floor with basically the same view. I'm not sure if there were better windows in the second room or that being on […] a higher floor helped but I was unable to hear the screaching. My room was fairly large by European standards. The bathroom was huge with every amenity you could need. The only criticism I had was there were scuff marks all over the room's white walls. It was obviously time for a touch up or new paint. Ultra-modern in that way only Italy can do, our upgrade gave us a suite with view, 2 rooms. The extra large and lavish bathroom made relaxing after long tourist days luxuriously decadent. I can understand not having a free breakfast, but charging 20 Euros for breakfast seemed crazy to me. This hotel is wonderful. We booked an executive room and were automatically upgraded to an amazing suite. The hotel is small and run by a group of hardworking young people. It is just one block from the Duomo which makes it ideal for sites and shopping. We would stay there again!

Two couples stayed at this hotel and we all found it to be a great experience. It was in a great location--a block from the Duomo; it had great amenities--rooms that were clean, comfortable, and modern; and a staff that was so helpful and friendly--not always found on our vacation. Our only regret--wish we could have stayed longer!

Loved the hotel! Great location. Close to cathedral and metro and tram to everywhere! Helpful staff. They suggested the city bus to the canal for bars and dinner. Great place to spend the evening. Especially liked Fabbrica for dinner. If returning to Milan! Would stay there for sure!

Other then a few skuff marks on the walls in our room from where suitcases had been place-- all walls are white-- this was a "perfect" place to stay. The staff could not have been nicer and very helpful with suggestions for dinner and shopping. I would return here in a minute.

We loved UNA. Great room, bathroom, AC!!, and great people. Only complaint is that there isn't an actual bar. You can sit and have a cocktail in the lobby though. Highly recommended.

We were in Milan for pleasure. The Una Maison Milano cannot be better situated. Steps from the Duomo and a short walk from everywhere else. There are tram and metro/subway stops very nearby. The tram runs right by the front door but the excellent soundproof windows block virtually all noise. It is a busy neighborhood which makes one feel a part of the […] hustle and bustle of the city. The decor is somewhat stark but very clean and modern with good lighting. The bathroom was quite large and well-appointed. While we did not rely on the staff for much, they were friendly and eager to assist with suggestions and reservations. What does this hotel NOT have? Nothing. If you want a hotel that has all the comfort of home, this is the one. Nice sized rooms and comfortable beds. Besides the standard toiletries items like soap, shampoo, shower cap, & body lotion, this hotel gives you robes, slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste, facial cotton pads, Qtips, nail filer, shaving kit, sewing […] kit, special washes for private parts, and something i've never seen at any other hotels...a manicure kit with acetone pads, cuticle pusher and filer. It felt like coming home everyday walking through their doors after hours of shopping. Did I mention that the Duomo is right around the corner and that shopping is so closed by that you can making frequent trips back to the hotels to drop off your bags? And the subway entrance is only a few steps away. The only thing this hotel does not have is a restaurant. But who needs a restaurant when all the restaurants are right outside the door? Read more

The location is brilliant. The windows are double glazed so it was quite dispite being in a busy location with a tram line running outside. This is no 5-star hoptel with spa treatments and multiple dining options - but that is not needed here. Everything you want is on the doorstep. For lesiure travellers seeking comfort, cleanliness and a great atmosphere, this hotel is all you would ever need. This was our first trip to Milan and we could not have asked for more. The location of the hotel is unsurpassable - just a block from the Duomo. And yet we were never bothered by sounds from the street below. Location makes the hotel. We found the young staff very helpful. We didn't like the charges for wi-fi, should be provided free of charge! Complimentary water in the room would be a good idea. We didn't use room service for breakfast as it seemed expensive. There is a patisserie nearby selling croissants so used that instead.
