Aquasserenne - Paravur

The resort is located far from city area but very good place for vacation especially family vacation. The only draw back I found there is food. Very helpful staff and good amenities.

Nice place to stay, a bit remote. Don't expect to be able to swim in the lake. The most unusual bathroom! Don't ask the hotel to arrange anything, even taxi - you will end up paying at least double the going rate. There is an elephant farm near by if you fancy a ride.

We stayed in this hotel just before Christmas. When we arrived after a long journey the reception staff demanded a surcharge to be paid up from of about $25 a night. We refused as we'd already paid in full, which was followed by an hour and a half negotiation back and forth before we were allowed to go to our room. In the end the hotel manager agreed […] we did not have to pay the surcharge for our 7 night stay as we threatened to leave and demand a full refund. It was a tense start to the stay. On the positive side, the staff after that were very helpful, the hotel is in a very quiet location next to a lake and it was lovely to watch the fisherman punt by in the morning. The food was very good, but served in a restaurant with little atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The cottage we stayed in was very nice on two floors with the most ornate locks on the doors. In the end it was just too quiet. After we had explored the surrounding area (by taking long taxi journeys) we checked out early and went to stay in Varkala. Read more

Comfortable stay, good ambience , very nice service, excellent cuisine and a dream location where you can go to sleep in your room looking at the serene lake and waking up to a vision of the lake with the water birds and an occasional boat gliding by. The lake and surroundings appear to be unspoilt by man.Taking a boat ride was a wonderful experience. […] You could see unspoilt uninhabited small islands and a bridge with occasional trains chugging along. Trevlig personal, men hotellet hade sett sina bästa dagar. Underhållet var eftersatt både på byggnader och inventarie. Det fanns bara sex solstolar (alla trasiga) och ett parasoll. Nyårsfesten var bäst tillsammans med alla "locals".

Das Hotel hat eine großartige Lage direkt am See, die Zimmer sind jedoch schon sehr abgenutzt. Da die Preise jedoch sehr modert sind, stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in jedem Fall.
