PROS: beautiful beach, hotel situated right on the water, cute little village, nice/helpful hotel staff, big rooms, pool and beach side massage services, breakfast included. CONS: the 'musky' odor in hotel room (although we were not in room often, the smell was overwhelming), no beach chairs on beach. If going to the full moon party the hotel is quite […] far (45-60 min away) and cabs will nickel and dime you to get home. I don't often take the time to write a review, but since myself and my partner were both very pleased with our stay at Havava Beach Resort, we felt we should write this - partly as a way of saying thanks. We received a warm welcome when we arrived, and the knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating lady at reception helped us plan out our time in Koh […] Phangan. The room was very nice, and had character and a fair sized balcony. On our second day we arrived back to our room to find some towel sculptures and rose petals! I'm not sure if this is a standard thing they do, or if they assumed we might be on our honeymoon, but either way, it was nice, and appreciated! The location was ideal for us, there is a fair range of places to eat on this beach, and the food at Havana is really good - when on holiday we usually try somewhere new each evening, but we ate twice at Havana, and enjoyed the experience on both occasions. A short walk down the beach, and there are some nice massage places, some evening entertainment - e.g. a place with music and fire sticks, some places with louder music, other places for a more romantic meal, prices very reasonable throughout. There is a regular boat service travelling from this hotel's beach south to other beaches, and on to Koh Samui. We took this down to the next beach for a walk up a waterfall - recommended. On one day of our visit we went for a day trip snorkelling - it was a great trip. We mentioned we we'd probably miss breakfast as we would need to leave so early, and without prompting our friendly lady at reception offered to have a breakfast prepared for us so that we could eat in our room before leaving. At other hotels there had been strict rules to not use the pool after a certain time... at Havana, we'd use the pool late, and one of the staff would notice and turn on the in-pool lighting for us. The rooms are nice, the hotel has a nice garden and pool also. The room was smelly when we arrived, this was due to the aircon which smelled of mould or something. I asked at the reception for another room, but the smell was there also. Then I asked for maintenance of the aircon (cleaning, etc.) and this fixed the problem. From then on the stay was […] nice. The restaurant of Havana is overpriced and the food quality is not goot. Try the Nice Beach Bungalows restaurant, we liked that. Transport is very expensive on the island and the inhabitants seem to have a kind of agreement, because you get the same prices everywhere. Read more

Отель выбирали по отзывам на разных сайтах, многие восторгались пляжем, и он действительно хорошо выглядит на фото, но мы были разочарованы. Хотя на свои фото пляж похож, однако он грязноватый, так же как и море, а множество лодок, которые тусуются в пляжной зоне, тоже не способствуют чистоте пляжа и моря. Заход в море плавный, но есть камни и водоросли, […] в общем, после Чавенга пляж и море мне совсем не понравились. И еще собаки гадят прямо на пляже, и это никто не убирает. Ну и шезлонги от отеля - неудобные гамачки, на которых можно только полусидеть. Зато ночью пляж выглядит волшебно и сидеть в пляжных ресторанчиках или барах (бар Flip Flop Pharmacy - отличный!!!) под фонариками с фантастическим видом на море - это отдельный кайф. Номер наш был неплохой, но несколько обшарпанный (уж следы от убитых комаров можно было бы стереть со стен!). И еще у нас был очень старый кондиционер в номере, который шумел, как космический корабль на взлете, днем еще ладно, но вот ночью я от него аж просыпалась. Бассейн хороший, хоть и маленький, ребенку понравилось (хотя если отель битком, то в бассейне будет не так мило). Ну и завтраки откровенно бедноваты, даже сыра не было, хотя для скромных 3 звезд может и ничего. В общем, если для вас важен хороший пляж ДНЕМ и хорошие номера - не ваш вариант. Мы там прожили 2 дня, и единственное, с чем жалко расставаться было - вечерние посиделки с фантастическим видом! Read more

We zijn met onze twee kinderen (11 en 14 jaar) 6 nachten verbleven in dit resort. We hebben het geweldig gehad. De eigenaar en het personeel is het vriendelijkst van de hele baai. En ook de locatie is fantastisch. Je loopt heen en weer tussen het zwembad en het prachtige poederachtige strand. Bij het strand is de bar waar je heerlijke watermeloen en […] aardbeien shakes kunt krijgen en natuurlijk ook heerlijke verse pina collada. Het eten is het beste van de hele baai, we hebben andere plekken uitgeprobeerd maar steeds bleek het eten bij ons eigen resort het lekkerste. Er zijn twee aparte keukens, de indiase en de thaise/westerse keuken. De kamers worden elke dag grondig schoon gemaakt. Op het strand kun je de heerlijkste massages krijgen (ook pijnlijke thaise). We hebben het allevier ontzettend naar onze zin gehad. We komen zeker terug. Read more

laute klimakopressor hinter dem hotel die auch bei ausgeschalteter klimaanlage extrem laut waren. sehr sauber, alt, frühstück sehr einfach jedoch mit frischem omlett. personal nett, strad restaurant das zum hotel gehört. gegessenwird direkt am strand. gepflegte anlage aber etwas in die jahre gekommen und relativ teuer

sehr schöne, gut gepfegte und saubere hotelanlage mit schönem pool. wer gerne etwas mehr komfort zu moderaten preisen sucht, als in den typischen backpacker-bungalows zu finden ist, ist im havana beach resort gut aufgehoben. das hotel liegt direkt am strand. meiner meinung nach sogar am schönsten strandabschnitt des tong nai pan yai strandes. zahlreiche […] restaurants und bars sowie die kleine dorfstraße sind in unmittelbarer nähe. einzig das frühstück ist nicht wirklich zufriedenstellend. sehr geringe auswahl, kein käse, keine wurst, keine butter. wenn man kurz vor ende (also so gegen halb 10) zum frühstücken kommt, ist auch ziemlich alles leer, aufgefüllt wird so gut wie nicht. das frühstück im hotel glich für uns jeden morgen einer steinzeitlichen jagd nach essbarem. da man in unmittelbarer umgebung in diversen restaurants/bars ebenfalls und deutlich besser frühstücken kann und obendrein viel günstiger, würden wir auf jeden fall dazu raten, hotel ohne frühstück zu buchen und sich komplett selbst zu versorgen.
