Cool decor, nothing is complimentary, lost my ipod in the room..of course no one has returned it.. The hotel staff should at least have a map of downtown displaying what's close proximity. . The Aloft wouldn't be my first choiceGenuine Expedia guest review
"Would come back again!"
This hotel was a wonderful stay for NYE. The only thing that I would complain about is the $50.00 authorization fee that is held without notice and some of the room light fixtures in the bathroom were out. Other than those things, the staff was very welcoming and it was a beautiful place to stay!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Would definitely stay again"
We spent 3 nights in the hotel celebrating the New Year. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We asked for extra towels and pillows on the first night and we had them within 15 minutes. The hotel accommodations contributed to a to a very nice New Years stay in Dallas.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Came with a group of friends we chose this place and we were blown away. Loved the exposé brick and loft feel. Room was absolutely amazing and extremely clean. Loved every minute of our time spent hereGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not worth the stay even if you get a discount."
To start off the hotel does not have enough parking, and they charge nightly for parking. Hotel had a sewer smell throughout and when we asked the front desk they didn't seem to know what it was. We placed a local call to Dallas DART and the hotel still charged us for the call even though it was listed as comp local calls, after complaining to the manager […] the fee was waived. NEVER stay here on New Years, non hotel guest are able to go up onto the floors and we were kept up by drunk non hotel guests until 5am, management stated they could not do anything for us because it was New Years. For the price the hotel is not a deal, rooms are very small (about 10x12) and elevators are slow moving so expect a good wait just to go up and down. Ice is only available through the front desk, so if late at night you need ice you have to request it and go down to pick it up. All in all, look for another hotel, it's not worth the price even if it's discounted. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Unique Place to Stay"
This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. It is neat! And the location is great for someone who wants to be downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful view, Excellent Modern rooms"
I was surprised with this hotel from the time I walked through the door. Its the most MODERN, warehouse style hotel I have ever seen. It's beautiful, sleek and they kept ALOT of originality down to the windows, ceilings and concrete pillars in the rooms. IN LOVE with this place and definitely did not want to leave!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel close to the convention center"
I enjoyed the decor & the ambiance of the Aloft Dallas I will definitely recommend this to any if my friends.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Hotel & Reasonable hotel in downtown Dallas"
I love this hotel!! It's fun retro and chic. If your tired of the basic hotels then you should stay at Aloft for a diffrent hotel experience.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great location to downtown"
We liked the urban loft-like feel of the hotel. Downside is $10 each for self-parking that is not covered or gated/secured in any way. But the staff was A+ in their service by getting us a taxi cab quickly for our party and then not acting inconvenienced when we came in late from that party and were close to cut-off time--the bartender was especially […] friendly and accomodating. Great downtown location, close to anything you need in the downtown area and close to highways. Always UBER cab rotation around the hotel. The actual hotel was not very maintained or cleaned. My room had mold on the tile and wall paper that was peeling. If going to the Dallas area again, I wouldGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved the hotel and the rooms! Best to venture out to the restaurants around the hotel rather than eating in. The hotel kitchen is limited in its offerings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hip place, good price for downtown Dallas"
Good value for the location. Very modern, minimalist style--felt European. Cool vibe to the place...I almost felt like I was too old to be staying here...like their target customer is 20-30 something hipsters. But, age is just a number, right? The room had everything I needed as a business traveler. Good set up for working on the laptop, plenty of […] plugs to recharge all my gadgets, nice TV, and a decent work out room. I loved the toiletries by Bliss. Although there isn't much room to sit and have a conversation in the room, the common area on my floor had three couches and a tv, so you could meet with colleagues and not be in someone's room. I really liked the lobby/bar area. There are several different seating areas where you could have meetings/discussions. It was nice to have a full bar--most hotels in this price range do not have that--which is nice when you'd like to have a drink, but don't want to venture out alone. The re:fuel area was well stocked; although the scrambled eggs tasted microwaved and were inedible. The only complaint I have is that the mini-fridge in the room started making a weird whistling sound about 1:30 a.m. which woke me up and sent me searching for the cause. I unplugged it. Problem solved...at least until the next guess arrives. I would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice pet-friendly hotel"
We had to stay over the weekend after losing power, and the hotel gave us a great experience. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and the cost was exceedingly reasonable. The lack of a pet fee is an added bonus. The hotel is very convenient to the convention center area if you are visiting for that purpose. Otherwise, […] there are other hotels that are closer to the "critical mass" of downtown amenities such as the Arts District. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great fun hotel"
The hotel decor was fun, modern and my daughter loved the details around the hotel. They have an outside pool so we never got to swim with the cold weather and all. The only drawback is that they don't have a restaurant. Other than that it was a great place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"It was okay"
Our stay was okay. The room was very spacious. We wish it would have had a microwave. They didn't have an ice machine so you had to go down to the lobby to get a small bag of ice. There were small little blemishes with the room like the mirror on the sliding door of the bathroom was falling off a little, some of the rubber trim at the bottom of the […] wall by the door was peeling, there wasn't enough pillows for all of us (thank goodness we bring some from home), the bed was a little stiff, and there wasn't a microwave in the room. The hotel is more for adults than for kids but it was priced right so we went for it anyway. We might stay there again in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"ALoft Downtown Dallas"

"Perfect Holiday Hotel For The Whole Family"
We stayed in a 2-queen suite which was PERFECT for two families with 2 little girls. The room was BIG - the girls were running around like they were in their own apartment. The bar had a pool table, and we ran up bar tabs each night, laughing, drinking and having a good time! There was a little missed cleanup in the pull out bed, but we forgive you. […] The hotel is a short taxi from all the good stuff downtown. Our room had a large window facing the bull statues across the street, and you won't forget all the little trendy touches around the hotel. A great concept, a great price - couldn't ask for anything more! Thanks! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good but A Little Surprised"
Our stay overall was nice however I was surprised that our bathroom was not as clean as I'd expected. The size of the room was much large so it kind of made up for my disappointment with the bathroom. The staff was nice and accommodating when we had problems with the lack of hot water. I'd stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"anniversary weekend was excellent"
It was my husband and I 1st anniversary and it was wonderful! He loved the hotel and no complaints at all!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel itself is located downtown and is walking distance to several park areas, including the one across the street. Interior of the hotel is different and very neat. Very welcoming. The people were very helpful. The rooms are also very different floorplans than I have ever seen but loved them. Loved the retro feel of everything. I wasn't thrilled […] about being charged for parking. I feel that should be included for such an expensive hotel. They have a food area that is stocked with all sorts of drinks and fresh fruit and snacks. They also will make you hamburgers, and other things to eat. The quality of the food they made however, was awful. I have four dogs I took with me and you know it is bad when you can't even get a dog to eat the mac n cheese. This was my first experience with the Aloft hotels and I was very impressed. Not cookie cutter, the space was industrial modern and cool. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. "Great Hotel and service"
This is definitely my type of hotel. I felt like I was staying in a condo with a concierge at the front desk. A hotel hybrid. Luxury mixed with affordability. The business district downtown location made it easy access to major freeways and a zip to get anywhere. We enjoyed all up meals over two days in the hip Deep Elum neighborhood just blocks away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Awesome design and style. Loved the room and the atmosphere in the lounge as well as the pool area. I will book this hotel again, without a doubt.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I get the whole "green" thing, but it's still a hotel and expected a little more ammenities. It just felt - and smelled at times - like a dorm. Young, grunge-types hanging out playing pool and on lap tops in the lobby - looked like the lobby of my college dorm. It just didn't strike me as a professional, adult establishment. You can be contemporary […] and adult. It just felt like an attempt to be contemporary with a college appeal. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

this Aloft is amazing. better and more spacious than other hotels I've stayed in while in Dallas. not as any staff around but the rooms are the best value in town and the front desk staff are extremely friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was suppose to get a suite but I am not sure what I got was a suite it had a bathroom , king sized bed and a couch and tv , there was nothing about this room that said suite. "Quick Visit to Big D"
Checked in at four. Quick showers for wife and me. Across Dallas to wedding and reception. Back to Aloft, cocktails at w xyz and crash. Breakfast from lobby taken across the street to beautiful. City park. Out by ten. Beautiful architecture. Attentive staff. Safe and secure.Genuine Expedia guest review
We've stayed in Aloft previously so we were expecting the nice modern feel of a boutique hotel. Pleasantly surprised to see a bar with the lounge. The room we stayed in was on the second floor with a full wall of drapes that covered some high windows. Nothing you could see out of, though it did let in light during the morning. The hotel IS downtown […] and surrounded by a parking lot on three sides so don't expect any landscaped grounds. There ARE rooms facing the road that oversee a park across the street so those may have a better view. Found it odd that the ONLY sidewalk to access the hotel reception from the back parking area was blocked by a giant HVAC unit that you had maneuver any rolling suitcases around or walk through a gravel path next to it. My biggest complaint is the rock hard bed. Owww! Even though they had down comforters there was no pillowtop or featherbed to soothe any pressure points while sleeping. Had the beds not been so hard I would've stayed a second night. Instead, we booked another hotel downtown that listed pillowtop beds and had a much more restful sleep. Also, while there we did hear some really loud yelling/screaming at around 2 a.m. It woke me up a few times, but didn't persist long enough to make it a worth a phone call to the front desk. Just be aware that the rooms walls are fairly thin. Nice modern hotel, good location for the value, but hard beds. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Terrific unplanned stay"
I began my visit to Dallas at the downtown Omni, but had to check out for one night due to heavy bookings. Omni said the Aloft was the closest hotel, and I walked two blocks, expecting nothing special. I was delighted by the warm and friendly lobby and staff, the convenient food bar always open, and the free internet work station. My room was bigger […] than the one I left at the Omni. I want to congratulate whoever came up with the clock on the night table. Room clocks usually tell the wrong time, and this was no exception--slow by about ten minutes. The back of the clock had two easy-to-read buttons, one that said "time set", the other "alarm set." What a relief from the complicated devices in other hotels that would require fifteen minutes with a manual to use. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fun hotel idea and still comfortable!"
When we arrived, I got my room and headed to the elevators when I remembered reading something about asking for a room as high as possible so I went back to the reception desk. They were great and didn't bat an eye about the inconvenience of changing my room! They were just awesome and gave us a room on the 8th floor and it had a great view from the […] MASSIVE bank of windows! It was a wonderful stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
