Tremendous bang for your buck here! Less than one block to the Hollywood Beach boardwalk with restaurants, bars, bike riding, beach going and such. The... staff is very helpful, and the grounds are cleaned up every day. In the mornings they are out there sweeping and tidying. Don't expect fancy furnishings, but the bed and linens were comfy, the room had a fridge, microwave and small table and chairs, and the bathroom was done in white ceramic and blue glass tiles - very cool. Located conveniently on A1A just off Hollywood Boulevard at 334 Arizona Street, the Taco Beach Shack is a hip outdoor taco joint featuring an array of specialty burritos, quesadilla and tacos hand stuffed with fresh fish, meat and chicken. Taco Beach Shack is a place where you can feast on freshly made salsa and guacamole with specially seasoned local fish, meat and chicken-stuffed tacos. All taco shells, hard and soft, are made fresh daily. The menu features five original hot sauces to spice up even the most discerning gourmand’s palate. Signature menu items include fresh fish and crab taco—Pepper Crusted Alaskan Crab and Honey Mustard Stone Crab Taco. Other favorites includes The Korean Short Rib Taco with Kimchi Slaw and Cilantro Infused Buttered Lobster Taco all served alongside a Freshly Grilled Corn On The Cob Topped with Mexican-Spiced Parmesan Cheese.

In addition to signature tacos, the menu features a collection of domestic and imported Mexican beers as well as margaritas and sangria.

I was very surprised on how great this hotel was... I found the deal on hotel.com and thought well why not - so glad we snagged the deal. It is literally less than a block from the beach and they have chairs and bikes free for residents. There is also a great little brewery on the beach from by the hotel that is nice. Unfortunately we didn't get to […] check out the Taco place but we didn't hear anything from that place. There are limited parking spaces so make sure to find your parking early in the evening before the nightlife comes out. The only complaint is how small the bathroom was but all and all we will definitely be back to Hollywood Beach and at this hotel! Read more

Room was exactly what I needed it for. Noise was the only factor I wasn't happy with. Walls were paper thin and my window opened up to a bar patio where there was always people and loud bands playing. Other than that a good place to stay!

For the price, you can't beat it. Location is a 15 second walk from the beach, and they are nice enough to loan out beach chairs, bikes, surf boards, everything, for free. Parking costs $10 for the stay, and the hostel rooms are pretty crowded (at least the one I stayed in, that held 6 bunk beds) but it's clean, and the employees are friendly and helpful. We loved the eclectic feel of the Hollywood Beach Suites, Hostel and Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated the many tables, umbrellas, and chairs between the buildings where we could rest and relax. There were also two computers for guests to use in the lobby. Beach chairs, towels, and bikes were also available for use […] and we definitely took advantage of these amenities. This hotel was a great little hide-a-way right off the beach. We usually stay at the expensive fancy places but this little gem was fun, friendly and about 1 block from the beach.

I generally liked the hotel, especially the location, but have a couple of negative comments. The free rentals of beach towels, umbrellas and bikes is great but the quality of the equipment is pretty poor. The management needs to invest in getting servicable beach umbrellas, for example. Secondly, the parking situation (having to worry about getting […] a parking space during the weekends) needs to be straightened out. Band members or other patrons of the Taco Shack restaurant are using the hotel's parking spaces during the weekend. They should use the metered parking. Having hotel guests use metered parking because other band members/patrons are in the spaces, isn't really a good way to run a hotel. I saw plenty of metered parking spaces available. It's reasonable to assume that the cost of staying at the hotel (which includes $10 dollars for parking), should include a parking space at the hotel. Read more

After looking at the review they werent bad as some other reviews & I seen it was close to the beach. The main thing all the reviews had in common was the Taco Shack connected to the hotel. It was everything everyone said it was. There tacos, food, nachos, etc. are great. The only thing I recommend is to have alot of money because there drinks are outrageously […] overpriced. They have only had a liquor license for 2 weeks. The hotel offers you a free drink, but you must order one of there combos and the free drink selection is a soda, bud light or house wine. I didn't bother staying it looked liked a jail cell with random strangers like a holding cell. I stayed with with my friend 6 blocks down same price private room two beds couch bed oven full freezer and refrigerator and Visio flat screen pool much better there then the place I booked

Loved the character of the area and just a few steps from a very nice beach. It was quiet away from the large hotel towers but with access to stores and restaurants on the boardwalk. Food and service at the Taco Shack was excellent. The room had two sets of bunk beds and a separate queen sized bed which was perfect for our group. It was simple but clean. When we came to the room we were filling as underground. It was smells moldy and dampness. Conditioner is very loud it was impossible to sleep and the windows does not open. We will never stop here again!

This is a very nice small hotel which very close to the hollywood beach. The room is very comfortable and painted in yellow and blue. With microwave and TV. It also provides free bicycle, sea boards and beach seats.

The location of the hotel was overall good...however, parking lot at night was packed they charge you a parking fee even when a parking space its not guaranteed. Towells are old and not enough. Costumer service is very poor. If you want a nice quite place to sleep this is not the right place.

My fiance and I booked our reservation the same morning we were to check for our one night stay.They had everything we needed for our beach getaway right there for free. Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys, etc. All for free! We ate at the Taco Shack that night which is located right next to the hotel (you'll see it as you enter Arizona […] Street) the chicken burrito and the tacos were absolutely delicious. The staff was very quick and very attentive to us. As we walked along the boardwalk (just a couple of steps from the hotel), we ran into the Hollywood Candy Cane parade. We felt like kids that night! The next morning we borrowed the beach cruisers from the hotel and cruised the whole boardwalk while also stopping for a cheap breakfast at Florinos (I think that's what it was called). Pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. YUMMY! Because the water taxi is so close, we got tickets for it and rode for further exploration of Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale. Only a couple things come to mind that may have dampered our stay was that our coffee pot in our room was dirty and that the window in our bathroom wasn't so private. Anyone walking by could see any one of us taking a shower. Also, the front desk didn't have any information on things to see or places to go while we were there.
