"very comfortable small hotel"
This is a very nice small hotel which very close to the hollywood beach. The room is very comfortable and painted in yellow and blue. With microwave and TV. It also provides free bicycle, sea boards and beach seats.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Not to bad"
The location of the hotel was overall good...however, parking lot at night was packed they charge you a parking fee even when a parking space its not guaranteed. Towells are old and not enough. "Devine Intervention"
My fiance and I booked our reservation the same morning we were to check for our one night stay.They had everything we needed for our beach getaway right there for free. Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys, etc. All for free! We ate at the Taco Shack that night which is located right next to the hotel (you'll see it as you enter Arizona […] Street) the chicken burrito and the tacos were absolutely delicious. The staff was very quick and very attentive to us. As we walked along the boardwalk (just a couple of steps from the hotel), we ran into the Hollywood Candy Cane parade. We felt like kids that night! The next morning we borrowed the beach cruisers from the hotel and cruised the whole boardwalk while also stopping for a cheap breakfast at Florinos (I think that's what it was called). Pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. YUMMY! Because the water taxi is so close, we got tickets for it and rode for further exploration of Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale. Only a couple things come to mind that may have dampered our stay was that our coffee pot in our room was dirty and that the window in our bathroom wasn't so private. Anyone walking by could see any one of us taking a shower. Also, the front desk didn't have any information on things to see or places to go while we were there. It was OK, but you can't sit comfortably on the toilet, the floor is freezing cold terrazzo tile, there are no phones in the room, and you have to pay $10 extra for parking. NOT a good business hotel, but OK if you are just looking to crash at the beach (not actually on the beach, bu 1/2 block. "Treasure at the beach"
Wow, where do I start. This little hotel just off the Hollywood Broadwalk is a great find. We had a good sized room with bright beachy colours and good solid furnishings. We enjoyed the lounge chairs and tables in the inerior corridor bewteen the rows of rooms. The room lacked a few of the extras of more expensive hotels - one facecloth for two people, […] just two towels, no coffee maker or radio but very good satellite tv service. We didn't ask for more but given the friendliness of the young staff I'm sure they would have just told us to help ourselves. This is both a hotel and hostel. The "hostel" part meant that there was a fully equipped kitchen in the lobby area that guests could use to cook their own meals. We didn't but if we stayed longer why not! Despite being sandwiched between the main beach highway and a tiki bar at the beach we didn't hear any noise once we shut our hotel room door. this is mora like a motel or hostal almost on the beach, no pool, and no amenities... that "taco" place is awful, never open, just bad! The villas were very cute, location was perfect, staff helpful and friendly, Cleanliness of my room... pretty poor ! I know its hard to keep beach room from smelling but this was really stinky, might I suggest some plug in air fresheners or open the windows while its being cleaned. "Unclean Room"
I want to support small business. Small business is hurting in this economy. We got to the motel at 6pm on a Saturday night, checkin was easy, the clerk was friendly. We went to the room & we found the bedroom to be clean we thought(keyword THOUGHT). I went into the bathroom to find the trashcan was full(banana peel & other trash). I found most of the […] towels not folded & were not neat & there was used soap on the sink. I went to the office right away & brought the towels & told the clerk of how the bathroom was not clean(trash and towels & Soap). The clerk said I am SO sorry & gave me new towels/soap & said someone would empty the trash. We left the motel to go out for dinner. We returned & the trash was not emptied. I was walking around the room in my socks & I sat down to watch TV & I noticed the bottom of my socks to VERY dirty & my companion looks at her feet and noticed the bottom of here feet were VERY dirty. We decided to look at the sheets & it seemed that sheets were clean. At checkout the follow morning I told the clerk(different person) of the problems & she said "oh sorry about that". She did not say we will look into these issues. I then said maybe your cleaning staff needs some retraining & the clerk was like oh ok. I knew then the issues would not be addressed. I really hate to post bad comments, but when the bad stuff is true & I do not feel that the situation will be corrected by the management of the business, then I have to warn others. The location was excellent. As for the hotel, you get what you pay for. The remote control did not control the volume and I asked the front desk for a replacement, but never got a response. The hotel looked a little shady from the outside but was really nice on the inside. It was clean and had a nice little mini fridge and microwave. It was right on the beach and had the cute little taco shack next door. I went with just my husband and would not recommend bringing kids there. It is also a hostel so there are a lot of big partyers there. […] That being said if you are looking for relaxation I would only go during the off season (like i did) as I am sure it is rowdy during spring break.
