Staying at St Georges was a wonderful step back in time with the modern comforts. Service was great especially at the five star restaurant Staff was helpful and friendly.

We had a sea view room and it was very nice. There is no lift but the stairs are easy to go up and down. Location is very good and very safe to walk around at night . Staff was friendly and helpful. It has an excellent reputation amongst the locals and many repeat customers. Also is located right near an interesting DDay museum. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was good though pricey. Excellent wifi reception. limited onsite parking. Bar prices also high. The room was small as was the bed, no tea/coffee facilities or fridge. In need of redecoration and we didn't like the tatty carpeting. We thought the restaurant was expensive . It was a short walk to some very nice restaurants and we enjoyed our very reasonable priced evening meal. We visited Bayeux Tapestry the next day and found it easy to join the road.

Great location being just a 3 min drive from the Brittany Ferries ferry port of Ouistream. Overlooking Sword beach an ideal location to go visit the sites of the D Day landings. Across the road from the Casino and walking distance to the pedestrianised town centre. Staff at the hotel were warm and friendly and had taken note of my request for a twin […] room as close to ground level as possible for my father. I would not say that this hotel is suitable for disabled access since there is not lift and the main entrance is up a flight of external stairs (this is an observation not a criticism).The only negative was the lack of space in the car park requiring us to park down the street and carry our bags.I would use this hotel again and recommend it as excellent value for money in a great location. Just the place for a pre- or post-ferry stopover. I wouldn't want to spend more than a night in our room, though. It was cramped with little storage space. It faced the garden and so was very quiet.

We stayed one night before catching the ferry in the morning. The room overlooked the sea for the same price as the garden room we had booked. Everything was clean and worked. We dined in the restaurant which was first class, but not a budget meal. Overall a thoroughly pleasant stay, and will stay there again without question.

We enjoyed our short stay here, although we would have liked to have been able to stay longer to try the restaurant, which looked good. The welcome was friendly and our room was very comfortable with views over both the garden and the sea. It provides an excellent overnight stop close to the ferry terminal and we would definitely stay here again.

Clean comfortable but basic. OK for a single night prior to early ferry. The hotel has an expensive restaraunt but others are available within a short walk. Limited car parking on site. Our room was on the top floor and there is no lift.

I booked the hotel for myself and two grandsons as we were taking the early ferry next day. It was very inexpensive, right on the beach, and five minutes from the ferry terminal. So much better than getting up before dawn and driving an hour and half to the ferry. One criticism is the restaurant in the hotel does not provide a kids menu and to eat there […] would have cost me a hundred euros for things children do not like to eat (British ones at least) Fortunately there is a restaurant with mini golf right across the road and the Sword Beach Museum is right next door. Hotel is very convenient for the ferry port. Staff very friendly and hotel well maintained.No breakfast served until 07.30 which makes it a bit difficulty if you have a early check in at the the ferry. Car park can only take about 7 cars. Overall OK.

Having stayed at other 2* hotels in the area this was by far the most luxurious. The bedroom was superb, overlooking sword beach. The breakfast (albeit 9Euros) was very substantial. It took about 25 mins to walk to the main square. The area was quiet and I would recomment this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the area. Simple, clean and accommodating. Friendly reception. Welcoming to our friendly Labrador - though they insisted on the lead on all times and all places, which is fair enough. Our only negative vibe was the fact that we were on the 2nd floor (steepish flights and no lift - thankfully our bags weren't too heavy!) but it did mean that we had a better view […] of the beach rather than just the back of the casino! The hotel entrance is at the back of the hotel with the garden, which is well kept and pleasant. Stayed only one night but would return.
