We have stayed at other Days Inn before. I have no complaints about the comfort of our room; the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The dining room was a little too small for all the patrons to be comofortable. Seating out in the lobby to me was strange. Room and bathroom clean and modern, the mattress was of low quality but acceptable. The cleanliness of the hallways, elevator and lobby could be improved. Strange and bizarre art decorates the walls of the hotel and rooms. Personnel, although friendly, could be more professional.

Neighborhood wasn't the greatest and the hotel is older but the rooms are well maintained. Nice fixtures and large screen tvs. Full free breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Shuttle service available late into evening to enjoy local hotspots. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Would stay again!

This is my first negative review of a hotel and I'm on the road often. Front desk staff = zombies. 20 minute ordeal checking in because they weren't receiving reservations properly from Expedia or Hotels.com. Took each member approx 10 seconds to acknowledge I was in their presence. Additionally, there were several loud individuals constantly loitering […] in entrance and hallways. The guy who checked me in, manager?, appeared to have bought this random lady a drink. Printer was "out of order." Sketchy neighborhood. 1:30am, I hear banging on door across hallway...then shouting. Eventually police officers arrive. The morning I was preparing my stuff to check out, the maintenance crew showed up unannounced, then rearranged the room, to simply drop off a refrigerator (which was also apparently supposed to be in my room the entire stay, and could have waited 15 minutes until I left the room). However, the rooms were visibly renovated and nice! A little crammed but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, all other factors make this place terrible! Read more

My stay at the Days Inn Suite was really good. The management was very nice, and my room was great. However, there is a peculiar odor that lingers throughout the hotel, and the surrounding neighborhood isn't the best. Overall though, I would stay there again!

When we drove up to the hotel, we were worried. From the parking lot, there were windows visible with the shades/blinds askew on two floors and you could see a mattress stored against a wall. We entered expecting the worst. Addressing that one area would really help with the presentation of the hotel. Hotel is NOT downtown but on the fringe of the downtown area and a very scary area. Hotel guests and homeless folks are integrated. Worried about my car all night. Bar was never open. Morning breakfast is a choice between carbs and fats.

We stayed at this hotel on New Year's Eve because of its proximity to the Comedy Cafe where we had tickets, and the availability of a shuttle to the club. However, there was a RAVE event also going on that night and the hotel was full of people going there via the shuttle.
