We lived in Deming and know about this hotel so that why we booked it. We are very sorry we did we had problems with the hotel on what we were promised, room not finished IE no pillow cases onm pillow had to asked, towels removed from room not replaced had to ask, water glasses removed and not replaced had to ask. Was told we would have breakfast for […] the quoted price was not given to us until we complained then we were not given what we were told we would receive for breakfast. When coming back to visit we are almost sure we will not stay there. when trying to get things taken care of the front desk would not take care of. Read more

Nice, clean room. Quiet, too. We loved the adjacent restaurant. The night we arrived, it was obvious the restaurant was short staffed, but the service was still great and with a smile! Very close to state parks and two wonderful wineries. This is also a great "home base" for day trips to the Silver City area. We will definitely return.

We had a nicely updated very clean room, the staff was so nice and very helpful. it's a older place so we had only 2 pillows and there was no microwave in our room. The resturant was good for breakfast but would highly suggest eating dinner somewhere else if possible.

Our stay at the Grand was great. I needed a ground-floor room, but that request was not relayed to the hotel in the reservation. When I arrived, the owner / manager say my knee brace and immediately showed me two alternative ground-floor rooms for my approval--they had initially booked us into a second-floor room with some upgrades. The service was […] excellent, with the staff asking about our satisfaction every time we were in the lobby. The included breakfast, which we opted for, was good, and included several choices from a special menu. The restaurant service was friendly, and the food reasonably priced--we also ate two meals there besides the breakfasts. The second morning, we were recognized and treated like old friends by our waitress. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing accommodations in Deming, whether for one night or an extended stay. It is conveniently located, safe, and undergoing upgrades to some of the rooms. Ours was one of the older ones, but I found it entirely satisfactory. Read more

Freeway close, although there are many to choose from. Very old. They have not renovated all the rooms. Smelt like cigarette smoke even though a non smoking room. Stay in the main front hotel and not the back.

The breakfast is wonderful you can smell the cooking from your room. Room was clean, slept well, felt safe with wonderful hospitality from the owner and his staff.

My family and I visited Deming over the 4th of July weekend. Since we like to stay in funky, non-chain hotels, we chose the Grand Motor Inn. Although the hotel has seen better days, the restaurant food was delicious and ALL of the hotel staff were super-friendly. They were helpful in telling us about the town and local attractions.
