Good price and location. Only one set of keys so family HAD to do everything together as you needed them to get into your room, into your part of the building and into the garage. 2 TV's would have been better but overall for the price a good choice.

We stayed at the hotel in the busy season 2012/13. The location is fantastic, as it's close enough to the Sunshine Coast to get to in a few minutes but tucked away from the hussle and bussle of the main road leading there. It is ideal to get to all the famed theme parks but still require a car to get there as they are not within walking distance. The […] apartmentments were clean and spacious although we didn't have an apartment facing the pool. The rooms are equiped with all the fascilities and there is a McDonalds within walking distance for the little ones. The pool is great and so is the BBq area. There is a lovely park across the road with great playground equipment. Calm swimming beaches all round and cafes, and Large Broadwater Park with fantastic kids jumpy pillow and other play equipment just 25mins walk away. Large Australia Fair shopping Centre across the road with food hall. Overall, Fantastic location with adequate family rooms. Great for families. Security is high on the agenda of this hotel. general location very good. Friendliness of staff - average, the husband was very accommodating and everything was too hard for the wife! Bit of a let down, but once in room,was fine, had everything you needed and close of theme parks.

Nice pool and very friendly people. Small room and was quite noisy at night. We could hear everyone elses tv's blaring and no air con in the bedrooms.

Would have preferred to be on the other side of the building as our unit overlooked the highway which meant it was very noisy if we opened any windows or doors. Other than that it was very good and it is a good position for our needs. Clean & comfortable.

Our apartment was a bit dated but very tidy and super warm! In fact we were hot and it was winter!!! Everything we needed was there and the kids loved the pool- too chilly for us adults. We stayed in 9 block and it was very quiet I was glad to not be by the roads on either side of the complex though. The stairs a a bit of a bug bear with luggage etc […] but then it's only when arriving and departing that it's a problem otherwise it's good exercise. Great playground across the road and lovely boardwalks. Pelican feeding up at charis seafoods was good for the kids. Would stay here again. Read more

Rooms were very tired, and in need of a paint and a spring clean, stains on carpets, curtains, duvets. Bathrooms weren't clean, scum on bath, mould behind bathroom door. Pool was great though!

We had the myfun VIP pass for entry into Sea World, Movieworld & Wet & Wild. Blue Water was the perfect spot to be able to get to Sea World in less than 10 minutes and we ended up seeing nearly all the shows on the Friday and Saturday, plus a couple of rides. When also stopped into Movieworld on the way home on the Sunday, which was probably about 20 […] minutes away. The pool at Blue Waters was heated, which was good because it was overcast and a bit cool for a summer's day. There were plenty of dining choices all within walking of the apartment and a park across the road for the kids. The winner, which will probably bring us back over the next couple of months or sometime in the future was Broadwater Park, which is a couple of minutes drive down the road. It was kids heaven. The Rock Pools is a "young kid friendly" area. A bit further along was a beach and netted off area for swimming, with a large pontoon about 50 metres out which bigger kids and adults could swim out to. On the shore next to this area was a park with swings, slides and climbing structures for a range of ages of children and then a bit further on bike / scooter track. Plenty of BBQs and tables along this stretch as well. For a family friendly holiday at the beach I would definitely recommend Blue Waters. Read more

Greeted by a rude lady, given keys and very brief instructions, no help or welcome. After a long and stresful plane and car ride with 3 kids, two which are autistics and the other has a life threatning disease. Room had minimal utensils which were atleast 15-20yrs old. One other lady was quite helpful, but they don't like to replace anything. Two of […] the children also have dust allergies and the room was full of dust and absolutely, disgustingly dirty. I took pictures as I could not believe it! So the whole stay was full of sneezing, itching, watering eyes, nose blowing and crying. Not to mention the infection that my daughter picked up and now has to add to her chemo treatment as her immune system could not take the filth! The first night I went to put my youngest autistic son to sleep and pulled back the cover on the bed, the underneath side had hairs all over it and I was disgusted and just ripped it off and didn't use it. The showers were dirty and have photo's to show that. Rubbish had been left behind from the previous people that had stayed. The noise was unbelievable and we all had trouble sleeping. Basically if you paid me money to stay there again, I would rather stay on the street. Read more

We had seven days in a two bedroom apartment. My wife was a little pessimistic about what to expect; unusual for her. On arrival the check-in was painless and on entering the apartment we were pleasantly surprised with the layout, two bathrooms, lounge/dining and kitchen. Although there was air conditioning, we left the windows and doors open for a breeze. There are security screens on the doors and windows. Un cadre trés calme, les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine et le parc à proximité. L'accueil très bien avec des gens très serviables et très disposés malgré la barrière de la langue. Pour notre prochain séjour c'est décidé nous y retournerons.
