This Bed & Breakfast was superb! The owners Ken & Susie were the hostess' with the most. They are gracious and very accommodating. We felt so comfortable, in our room, in the guest tavern room where "happy hour" was held, the dining room and the foyer. The place is very historical and interesting. Cedar Gables Inn is 3 blocks from downtown Napa and […] wonderful walking places. The streets are well lit and there are so many wonderful restaurants. We picked this B&B because of what people on Expedia said about it and how quaint it looked in the pictures. My wife demands quaint. When we got there we quickly discovered it was everything we hoped it would be, but that didn't begin to scratch the surface. It is a neat old mansion with all the charm you would hope for. What makes this place special […] is where it is and who runs it. We were able to walk to several really good downtown restaurants, only a few blocks away. We took our cues on where to eat from Ken and Susie, our hosts. They know food and they know wine and they know how to recommend experiencing both. Every evening around 5:00 Ken was at the bar dispensing wine and stories. Everybody showed up for these hours and told stories about what they did and what they recommended. The breakfasts were nothing short of incredible. On the Saturday we had to leave to catch a plane Ken and Susie got up early to feed us. I misread my plane schedule and when I told Susie we had to miss even the early breakfast she had scones and coffee waiting for us as we walked out the door. Don't even think about anyplace else. I can't imagine a better Napa experience than this one. Read more

Cedar Gables Inn was outstanding! This B&B has a deep history, beautiful design and most importantly its owners/operators are unmatched. The inn comes complete with countless aristocratic touches including a tavern with and old-world feel and several hidden trap doors allowing the inn keepers to move about the home unnoticed. Suzy and Ken are wonderful. […] They make this B&B stop into a world class experience. They're warm and genuine, helpful at every turn as me and my wife made our way around Napa. Suzy cooking is to die for, and Kens hospitality is a rare thing.
