This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Location.
Conveniently near the airport in Richmond, Westin Wall Centre Vancouver Airport is close to Aberdeen Centre, Richmond Olympic Oval, and Richmond Centre Mall. Additional area attractions include BC Place Stadium and VanDusen Botanical Garden.

Great place to stay - all staff extremely professional and helpful
"excellent hotel at YVR"
This is an excellent hotel in the middle of a commercial wasteland. If you are simply needing a very good hotel near YVR this is the place. The Boatyard restaurant nearby is okay.
"When in Richmond...."
Best for those whose business is in Richmond, as it is quite a hike to downtown Vancouver. Hotel was small and expensive for the price. Everything was extra - parking, internet, breakfast. Very comfortable bed!
a good deal and a good stay, very pleasant staff, but I would as a college ask to rethink the breakfast concept, the same coffee costs more as double during breakfast.
"Modern Hotel near Vancouver airport"
Very modern, comfortable quiet hotel.The bathroom deep tub and walk in shower were great. Excellent swimming pool and gym facilities on site. A bit isolated for walking sight seeing. Fabulous view of the mountains and waterway.The morning sunrise was breath taking. Loved the Asian market which is within walking distance.Great seafood restaurant directly […] across the highway. (Bit dicey to cross the road). Friendly staff. No snack shop or vending machine on site that I found. I stayed on the Club floor, which included a light breakfast. Did not get the voucher for the evening snacks. Even on club floor the hotel charged for the internet access. The hotel is close to the airport and shuttle service is available 20 hours a day. Only complaint is paying so much for breakfast. Coffee was $5.00. Eggs were over $15.

It's a bit pricey, but it's worth the money staying in a very clean and comfort room/bed, and the staffs are super nice and friendly. Definitely will come back again.
"Additional charges"
I stayed for one night. The bed was comfy, overall the room was very nice, rated 4 stars. I didn't like how there were lots of additional charges. Parking for instance. I wasn't inform that it's going to cost me $21 to park in their parking lot. I would have parked along the street. I think I should be inform ahead of time. Not a huge charge but it's […] hidden. The indoor pool was small and very cold. I booked for 2 queen beds through hotel.com but when I got there they gave me a king. There was a lot of talking back and forth with the supervior. Room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and two comfortable chairs. However, function suffered. Beautiful shower was impossible to turn on to set water temperature without getting all wet. There was no counterspace in the bathroom for our ditty bags. Parking in the garage was a problem. the Westin Wall in Richmond was perfect for the early flight out of YVR. nice people. good rooms and butter chicken was excellent. will stay again for sure.
"Pool is not convenintly located"
The walk to the pool from the hotel proper is really quite inconvenient. Climbing three flights of stairs is not very accessible, especially if you are handicapped.

$15+ taxes = $20/night of additional parking fee. Watch out for the sharp edges in the furniture, especially if you have kids.

This place is very nice! One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The location is extremely convenient too -- close to the airport, and to the skytrain for easy access to downtown Vancouver. Excellent location for shuttle service to the airport, but in a rather seedy neighborhood, with difficult access in from main streets. Hopefully, this will improve as the neighborhood undergoes renovation. Dispite the nearness of the airport, the hotel was very quiet.

"BEautiful Hotel"
It was a beautiful hotel but I found it a little ridiculous that you had to pay for valet parking and that it was $30.00 a night. That is a little extreme and when it's that nice, it could jsut be free.

Opened in 2009 - clean cut room with river view. Convenient to local highways. As usual, I don't like the nice bedding - too hot for me. Requested blanket but to my surprise they don't have any. Only valet parking was availabe at $22/day and no self parking. Parking along the street in the neighborhood is at your own risk and safety.

"Nice rooms"
The hotel decor was very nice and modern. The staff was friendly. Three gripes are - $35 per day for parking. - Internet is not free. - Difficult to access hotel. It sits on a one way street. We could see the hotel, but it took us 30 mins of driving in circles to figure out how to get to the front of the hotel.

The room including the bathroom was very modern. Everything was very new and clean. One of the most important thing that I look for in a hotel room is good water pressure, this one totally met my expectations. The bathroom had separate tub and a very roomy glass shower stall. The beds were very comfortable. We ordered a rollaway bed and even that was […] super comfortable, totally different from the poor quality rollaways with crappy springs that I've experienced before at other hotels. The location is perfect. It's right off of No. 3 Road which is close to all the shopping centers and restaurants. There are SO many choices of Chinese restaurants and Hong Kong style cafes. "Vancouver Westin - for business travel not family"
In answering the question whether I'd recommend this hotel to others....I would for business travelers but would not for family vacations. This is an extremely nice hotel. Rooms are extremely comfortable. The area around the hotel though is not the greatest, but not really bad either. This place is for business travelers with travel accounts, not for […] family stays. There is forced valet parking that was close to 25% or our room rate daily. The valet service was excellent and timely however if you wanted to pay for it. They also charge you for internet access in your room, which I find ridiculous these days. We were on vacation and spent a good bit of time in the city and north of Vancouver. I would certainly stay in the city next time if I'm going to pay what it actually cost per day instead of the posted room rate. Read more

"Visit to Vancouver"
The Westin was convenient to the rail system which we used to get around. The facility was top notch and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I would prefer to stay here any time I visited the Vancouver area.

Close to the airport, close to eating options within walking. Within walking distance of transit station that goes everywhere. If you can get a great rate, this is perfect. THey do charge a high parking rate, and their onsite restaurant is expensive, but you do have offsite options close by.
