I have been traveling and using Hotel.Com for the last five years and this is my 3rd review only...The place is an apartment now use as a Hotel...It look alot like my apartment very Art Deco inside...Great for Long Weekend has a full Kicthen and places to buy food and cook some meals in and save. But also one block away from the Famous Lincoln Rd. with […] great shopping and great food.....Also a Ten Dollar cab ride from Ocean. Had to book a room for three nights when my apartment was being fumigated. Chose Chic Place for the sole reason that it was located a block away from my job on Lincoln Road, but overall I was very satisfied with the experience. Potential guests should take note that this is not an actual hotel in the traditional sense, but rather a rental apartment […] located in a charming, whimsically decorated building just a block away from Lincoln Road. The property was maintained well, however there was some work being done by a maintenance crew during our stay. The unit was clean and bright, well furnished, and conveniently located for my purposes - though tourists may greatly appreciate being adjacent to Lincoln Road. Downside is that there is no lobby or concierge services, so those expecting a more traditional vacation hotel experience should look elsewhere. Kitchen was well stocked with necessary supplies for those looking to stay in for dinner. The strangest thing for me was probably the television built directly into the ceiling above the bed. It made for awkward television watching if you are inclined to watch television in bed as the TV did not tilt in any way, but rather was just flat against the ceiling. Our stay was a pleasant experience. The staff (a lady who lives on premises) was very nice and answered or addressed all of our questions/concerns. The room was clean and neat and had a ceiling TV .... might not seem like a god idea, but trust me, you will love it if you are into sports and come home after a long day of volleyball or biking.

The hotel is right next block to Lincoln. It is clean, room is nicely furnished and has a w/d and full kitchen which is a great feature. It has a great wide screen LCD TV in the room.Unfortunately it is an old building conversion, windows are old and they let moisture in. Air conditioning units placed on a thin wall and make rooms shake making it totally […] impossible to relax due to constant noise and vibration going through the walls and your floor. Bed is horrible, thin cheap mattress really killed my back. It is actually a Murphy bed. It is a full bed, not queen. The management could provide newer and better linen and towels. Read more

Chic Place is no hotel, you rent a beautiful appartment with all the breder amenities, like dishwasher and washmachine and perhaps in South Beach perhaps also very important: Fred parking! The interior of the appartment is really nice.
