This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Wow! What an amazing time we had staying at the Royal Solaris!! We spent our 19th anniversary at this all inclusive resort for 4 days and never even had the slightest urge to go into town or leave the hotel. Friendly staff checked us in. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and there was no waiting. The Time Share lady who offered us a "quick tour" of the hotel but did not get pushy or upset when we told we just wanted to get to our room and then hit the beach. She asked that we come see her, but we never did and we never got bothered with Time Share talk the rest of the time. The multiple pools looked like lots of fun, but hey...we have a pool at home so we spent every waking minute at the beautiful beaches. The "vendors" walking up and down the beach were not pushy at all and after each one made their 1st pass/effort, they didn't bother us the rest of the day. Benjamin and Kike (pronounced kee-kay), were our beach waiters over the weekend and both of them were absolutely tremendous!! We could not have asked for a better experience. The room was clean, it had a comfortable bed, and plenty of water pressure for our showers. Oh...and pay the little extra to get the beach view room...spectacular views of the sunrise and gorgeous blue waters!!

I loved the hotel and the service is wonderful, however I was really disappointed in the beach. We had to travel to another Palace resort to swim in the ocean and take pictures. But that is my only complaint.

Accessible by ferry, Isla Mujeres is a major ecotourism destination. El Parque Natural Garrafón (Garrafón Natural Reef Park) features coral reefs inhabited by schools of fish. Giant sea turtles come ashore at Tortugranja to lay eggs. North of Isla Mujeres, thousands of rare and tropical birds roost at a natural sanctuary on Isla Contoy.

If you are looking for a great place for a quiet, no frills getaway, Villa Kiin is the place for you. Great place to relax in the hammoc garden and right on the beach. Book it if you want some "me" time. Staff was friendly, however there is just the lobby agent. So don't expect to be waited on hand and foot.
"Villa Kiin"
The hotels.com deal said that the room was of of a higher value but when we got than what was posted at the front. It was an uncomfortable, and had work men outsided banging away - adding on some new addition, it had a double bed though was advertised as a King, it had no other furniture to put your things. We had to pay extra to upgrade to a better […] room and still did not have a desk or chair. Even in the upgrades room, the patio was not covered with thatch or tin so we couldn't hang out there to escape the heat. The pictures of the beautiful beach chairs and beach beds with flowing four poster curtains were at a different hotel and not at Villa Kiin. They charged extra for dented battered beach chairs and and umbrella. The check in did not show us where the lovely "kitchen and verandah" were, we had to scout around, and the kitchen light bulb was missing. The coffee machine did not work. The wi-fi could only receive service in one specific chair. To top it off, the continental breakfast was served at a different location, and consisted of Nescafe, toast with butter and jelly, and marmalade. Read more
"very pleasant stay"
if you wanna relax in a simple and very lovely hotel this is your choice. A shared kitchen, free wifi in the frontyard and the beach. Note: the wifi didn't reach to our room but we were not there to surf on the internet the whole day. prime location : 10 seconds to the beach ;), 4 minutes to the main strip, and very silent at night.
"Nice location, not so good service"
A feeling of low budget hotel allready at inchecking. good beach with nice snorkeling in the lagoon, but really, it is not a good service to charge the guests for the use of the hotels own sunchairs! it would have been better to skip the included breakfast that is a block away from the hotel, there are much better places to go for breakfast if you have […] to leave the hotel anyway. "Haven of peace"
5 night of pure bliss. Ocean view room was great. We loved the night breeze and the sound of the ocean rocking us to sleep! Very clean and the garden was a great place to rest out of suns ways, cuz it can get quite HOT!!! I strongly recommend if you're looking for an affordable, simple, nice, clean, quiet place to rest. We enjoyed it !

"Vergane glorie"
Read more
"Hotel in bester Strandlage, Zimmer halbwegs ok"
Fazit: Lage super, Zimmer halbwegs ok, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Read more
"Villa Kiin, Isla Mujeres"
Fantastiskt läge direkt på stranden som ligger i en lagun. Hela tiden strömmar friskt vatten in i lagunen. Tag med snorkelutrustning. Fanastiskt fina fiskar av alla de slag. Hotellet hade bara smala och hårda dubbelsängar (Queen size) så vi bytte till ett hotell i närheten när vår bokning med hotels.se var över.
"Beautiful beach hotel"
Villa Kiin is a beautiful little beach hotel with a private beach in a lagoun. The private beach is really peacful and quiet, but if you walk 5 minutes you are at the north beach with a lot of people and beachbars. It's a 5 minute walk into town. The breakfast was two pices of toast and jam, but for 50 pesos you can get a really good bagel with eggs […] and chese etc. We loved Villa Kiin and if/when we go back to Isle Mujeres we will definetly stay here again.
