Given the location, it can't be beat for the money. My single room was plenty roomy, very clean, comfy bed, good wi-fi, and my request for a quiet room in the back was fulfilled precisely. Don't want to write for an hour so I will just say this, after staying in everything from 5 star to hostel in Budapest for years, the Star Inn is now the only place I will stay when on a budget. If you look at the Price vs. Location alone you should be sold, but factor in the quality of the rooms and furnishings (very clean and comfortable), and the […] helpfulness of the staff (great English), then you can NOT beat this hotel! This hotel is like 300 meters from Radisson Blu Beke (which I have stayed at 3 times) for about 25% of the price. Beds were firm, which I like, but some might not. You have the Main Train station within 5 minutes walk, the West End mall, Some lively night clubs like Mix and Morrison's 2, Margarit Bridge etc. All of it is within minutes walk and the underground parking garage is about 10 euros cheaper for 24 hrs. than any other ones I have found in the Octagon area. Only one small observation/complaint. The hallway on our floor had a bad smell, but I could tell it was because they had just chemically cleaned the carpets, the room had wood floors so the room smelled fine, the second day the smell had faded a lot. This is probably just a bad timing occurrence as they don't clean carpets with chemicals like that but probably once a month if that. Please go and stay there, you won't be disappointed. Read more

The Star Inn Hotel is situated close to the city center of Budapest, easily accesible with both public transport and by foot. You are in walking distance from the major sights of the city, very lovely restaurants around the area as well as bars. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and polyglott. Speaking of English as well as German is a must for them. Hotel ist zentrumsnahe gelegen. Tiefgarage eines frein Anbieters kann gegen Gebühr genutzt werden. Freier WLAN-Zugang im Zimmer, leider fehlt ein Kühlschrank. Frühstücksbufett ist einem 3 Sterne Hotel entsprechend (continental) mit kompletter Selbstbedienung.
