We were allowed to check in around 9:30 AM immediately after our taxi ride from the airport. The staff was always very helpful and spoke excellent English. We had a slight problem with the shower which wasn't fixed immediately, however, the manager compensated us for the inconvenience. The hotel has a modern decor, is clean and comfortable. The only problem was the air conditioning was difficult to control. We finally turned it off because it just got too cold. This hotel is a good location, short walk to the bridge or subway stations. The breakfast was good and free use of computer (good for me to recharge my camera with USB). The hotel might be hard to find if driving there, but we took airport shuttle bus.

Overall a good hotel - nice, friendly staff - couple of things which we didn't like, was that during peak hours, front desk staff was staffed with only 2 people or absent and for such a large hotel, only 2 small elevators were built. It was a good workout before and after breakfast, but at checkout we had to wait at least 30 min for the elevator. Neighborhood, […] even though we were in the center, during the evening I felt somewhat uncomfortable to walk around - safety wise. The avenue was dark and all the surrounding business closed at 6 pm. Breakfast served was without any frills either. The hotel staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming, a rare accomplishment in Budapest. The hotel was very clean and the bathrooms were great. The breakfast was great and lasted until 10:30. It was easy to get to by subway and a few blocks away from the parliament and the restaurants. Oktogon subway stop is where everything is located in terms of restaurants, […] and that is 2 or 3 stops away or about a 15-20 minute walk. The heated floors in the new bathrooms were a nice touch and I could have left my own hairdryer at home because the one they provided in the bathroom was way higher quality than in other hotels. We ordered room service dinner, which was a reasonable price and very good, professionally displayed and prepared. All in all, a very good experience and a great value hotel. Read more

We really enjoyed the hotel. I was a little concerned about the location and quality of Budapest Eurostars hotel since the price was much lower than the other 4 star hotels in Budapest. But the lobby and rooms looked just like the photos (brand new and very nice) and the location was very convenient. The only problem (and it wasn't much of a problem) […] was the lack of drawers, but there were a few shelves and we managed just fine. This was the best value of all the hotels on our trip. Found this hotel (Eurostar Budapest Center) after reading great reviews on Trip Advisor and Hotels.com. My experience here was even better than I had hoped for. Central location and reception and housekeeping were wonderfully helpful and friendly and my room was much more stylish and comfortable than I could have expected for the room rate.

I went on 12 March 2013, from outside i thought is it the good decision to come on my honeymoon? Right after entering the hotel i realised i have made a good choice. Very very helpful and nice staff. Everybody had a genuine and sweet smile on their face. Our arrival was followed by the welcome drinks of our choice and a bottle of wine in cozy room. […] Breakfast was awesum!! I was attending a 'stag' event and the hotel was a place of solice after each day/ evening event. Food was nice and very continental. The hotel was well placed for night activities and the livelier parts of Budapest and also for the main daytime tourist attractions.

Good location near the Jewish Quarter of Pest which is where all the best restaurants and bars are for at night. Lovely rooms and a really gorgeous hotel all over. Free wifi is a great bonus too. Within walking distance of most tourist sights in a gorgeous city. Very happy.

Hotel was in an excellent position in Pest and central for everything. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Only complaints are that our room was very hot and we weree not able to change the temperature on the thermostat in our room. When we asked reception about this they said there was nothuing we could do as it was winter and the central heating […] was contriolled centrally. The bath/shower was badly designed and you could not reach the taps and shower control because of a side glass panel meaning you had to stand in the bath to turn the water on/off--not very good from a health and safety point of view The hotel bar was very small and the choice of menu was limited and the opening hours only from 1900-2100. Some items on the menu such as tapas were not available when we asked for them and stock/choice of drinks was limited with the bar running out of brandy. Overall we had a great stay and would stay at this hotel again despite the comments made above. Read more

The hotel is very modern and business like in appearance and is in a great location to start your tour around Budapest. Local bus and underground one minute away. Staff very friendly & helpful and always available. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Only minus point I would give was their internet room.
