"Good place to stay"
Hotel is really close to the strip, pets are welcomed for a small fee. Rooms are niceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I would stay here again!"
I'm not very high maintenance so this hotel was fine for me. It wasn't flashy which again, is fine with me. The hotel was located between the strip and freemont, not a bad location. There was not people hanging around outside and overall i felt safe. The location was also quiet so there was no problem getting sleep once we were ready to rest. As far […] as the room goes there were a few things i would point out for future guest. My door jammed so i had to slam it in order to get it closed. I did not mind but i'm not sure how other guest felt. Also the restroom sink made funny noises every once in a while so there must have been something wrong but nothing ever came up so again i didnt mind it was nothing major. Lastly, this would have been a bit of an issue for me. In one of our rooms there was a leak in the celing in the shower so there was a lot of water coming through at times. That was probably the worst. The pool was out of service which was an inconvinience but i didnt mind i just used the hot tub. Over all the hotel was not bad and i would stay there again. The price was resonable and the location was great too. No resort fee and free wifi! Also staff was very nice and helpful Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"great licatiin and very large rooms"
Terrific experience. HAVE RETURNED TWICE. THE ROOMS ARE VERY LARGE AN ACCOMADATINGGenuine Expedia guest review
I stayed at the Clarion to be close to the convention center. The rate was excellent and the hotel was acceptable. The rooms were large and bathrooms were clean and somewhat updated. The restaurant was good for basic food. I was not concerned - as a woman traveling alone - to walk back and forth to the convention center and even walked to the strip […] in the daytime (would not at night). The management was helpful and courteous and I will stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Convenient to the Las Vegas Strip/Old Town"
The room was great. Good location and access. We even received a free magic act which was quite good for a nominal $5.00 service charge. Great Value for the rate we paid. Staff was helpful and responsive. I'd stay again without blinking an eye.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was close to the Convention Center, and that was all I cared about. The room was clean, yet in need of a renovation. The hotel lobby is in dire need of renovation and updating. The restaurant was only open occasionally, they said due to staffing! (10%+ unemployment in Vegas and they can't find staff!-that was a good one). The bar staff was not interested […] in serving customers with any level of customer service, the desk staff was attentive, but dealing with an aging facility that really needs a renovation. I would only recommend staying here if you are in town for a convention and don't mind a three minute walk to the LVCC. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Yeech, don't touch the carpet"
Hotel badly needs updating. Rooms and common areas are rundown, with dirt that wont come off. I wouldn't walk on the carpet barefoot, it was so nasty, and tried not to look at the grungy stains in the bathroom. Close to convention center, but even location can't redeem it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The pools were not maintained well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Room and Nice Hotel Staff"
Sure, it is an older property, but it more than makes up when you walk in the room and is spacious and you even have a view! The Hispanic young lady was very nice and did not have an attitude like sometimes you encounter in some hotels, (especially when they see that you got a good rate....they act like you owe them! ....lol!) Anyway, she was nice, […] gave me the type of room I reserved and then as I said, the room was very pleasant. Yes a couple of stain on carpet easily overlooked by the nice room ..plus I always wear flip flops at these places anyway, even when the carpet is newer or "spotless". Also temperature in room was not where I like it to be and I could not seem to control it, but it wasn't a big deal either..it was not too bad...I tend to be "hot blooded" and thought I might be hot when I went to bed, but was fine. Next day left early (had no time or breakfast) and just dropped my key to a nice couple of smiling attendants (one male/one female I believe). So all and all I do recommend this place for sure!! "Mediocre hotel, comfortable room"
Lobby and elevator showed real age. heating system was quiet. Room was clean and the bed did not squeak. Internet connection was slow.Genuine Expedia guest review
I should start by saying that I was looking for somewhere on a budget and wasn't expecting a fancy Strip hotel, just somewhere clean to spend two nights. If you are looking for somewhere more luxurious, this is definitely not the place for you. Pros: good location, safe, quiet, clean and comfortable beds, large room, free wi-fi, refrigerator, friendly […] service, had a decent pool, good hot water/pressure, free toiletries, etc. Cons: Pretty run-down overall and 1970s looking - the carpet in our room was very old and obviously stained in many places. So if you're not turned off by old-ness, it will work just fine. I also stayed at another, more luxurious hotel during my stay and while it looked nicer, the Clarion offered way more bang for my buck as far as amenities go. Bottom line: good place to stay on a budget, with friends, for a night or two. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a great "little" hotel (~12 stories). While some would say it's towards the dumpy end of the spectrum, it is well run and maintained. It does lack the glitz of the mega-resorts, but for the low cost, it's a bargain. It does have a spacious lounge with slots, bar and its own theater. It also has a small "diner" style restaurant. The bedding was […] heavenly and it was nice and quiet (6th floor street side). TV, small refer, coffee maker and strong but a little slow wireless Internet. The location really makes it shine. About a 4 min. walk to the strip (between N & S end) and 4 min. from Convention Center and Tram Station. Merriott next door has a nice cafe restaurant, the LVH (10 min. by foot) has Mega Buffet, Bennihana, Sushi, etc. Right on the strip close by, there's a Peppermill (great food) a 7-11 and a Wallgreens (I think it was a Wallgreens - species type store). Hotel has pool and easy access by car with hotel parking. What's not to love? I don't need to pay top dollar for glitz when I'm sleeping with my eyes closed for most of the time that I spend in my hotel room... I will be staying there again. "Nothing Fancy but close to Convention Center"
Have used this hotel many times for its location when attending shows at Convention Center. It's a 5 min or less walk to the Convention Center. It is an old kinda worn out hotel but very good for price it could use some upgrading but again good for price. There is a Walgreens within walking distance and several restaurants. Easy to get cabs from there. […] Only negative is the hotel restaurant has poor hours and food not worth the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"CLEAN AND FRIENDLY, AWAY FROM MAIN STRIP"
I was moving out of Vegas and needed to stay there 3 nights. Vonella at front desk was very accommodating, whatever you ask for they get it to you within minutes....this is not an upscale hotel, needs some renovation especially with the Air Conditioning. But everyone was friendly and had my whole car packed up with my belongings in their garage which […] is only $2 per night extra & was totally safe, worth every penny! You get free shows in the hotel...saw Shades of Sinatra (great show)! Beds very comfortable & quiet, slept great. Our room had view of the south end of strip...great deal for the money with NO RESORT FEES!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

My room was clean and comfortable but the toilet ran all night, the clock was broken and the ice machine was broken on my floor. I had my phone for an alarm and because I use a hearing aid I could block out the toilet. Otherwise it was great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap and close to the strip"
Room was ok, although I did ask to be moved from the first room I was given. The decor is a little in need of renovation but again you get what you pay for.. The pool was horrid, very cold and cloudy, no pool towels on offer when we were there.Genuine Expedia guest review
cant bet it for the cost and was the biggest room i stayed in but i dont spend much on rooms because when im in vegas i party and try not to stay in much. check out is at 11am a bit early for me and no late check outs but it was great!! off the strip tho but right a cross from fly away indorr skydive which i loveGenuine Expedia guest review

We paid less than $80 for a two night stay. The room was very large with two king size beds. The hotel was a five minute walk from the strip. Hotel a bit old and tired but you could not get better value for money.Genuine Expedia guest review

Got this room last minute for less than $40. Got into Vegas late and jut needed a place to rest my head. The beds and pillows are wonderful and I was going to stay again the next night bit their rates went up to $159. Thank you Hotels.com. "Comfortable Bed-Just Don't Expect a Shower Curtain"
The bed was comfortable... let me start with that, in fact, not only was it comfortable, it was the only clean thing in the room. I really don't think the hotel owns a vacuum cleaner, seriously! Not only was the floor of the room a mess, I actually saw someone behind the reception counter using a broom to sweep the carpet -- the door mats at the front […] entrance were caked with dirt, more than I think would be possible from just a single day. Then, it was nice the shower had one of those rounded shower curtain rails. You know, so the curtain won't bow in and touch you while you're showering? That was a nice touch, though it would have been nicer if they had actually provided a shower curtain to hang from it! Seriously! No shower curtain. Oh, and no remote for the TV. (They didn't even have a Gideon's Bible lol.) But, the bed was very comfortable and the room was quite -- oh, it was cold too, the AC wouldn't shut off. But the bed was comfortable -- so if that is all you want, then I recommend it! If you want more, like a carpet you can walk on safely and a shower-curtain, stay away!!! "Great if you just want a place to sleep"
Easy to get to from airport and other locations. Parking area safe/adequate. Room was clean but everything was dated and a bit tattered. Ice machines broken. It was a great place to stay if you were only going to sleep there.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good rates, quiet, off the strip but the strip is only a couple of blocks away. Hotel is old and a bit run down, however the staff is nice and there are NO RESORT FEES. Which is nice. Clean and would go back again for sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what we expected"
Rooms were pretty comfy. TV remote didn't work. The room was actually nicer than expected compared to the outside appearance. I didn't even put my shoes on the floor it was so dirty. Would not recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location; but not a great place"
This is an older hotel that's not being taken care of. Had to ask for a different room. They complied. Nice people mostly. Staff does it's best, but the ownership isn't putting a dime into the place. Old ,stained carpeting, hallways not cleaned, exterior falling apart. I'll look elsewhere next time. On the plus side it's a 5 min walk from the convention […] center...and not far from the strip. That's about it for the plus side, though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"great for saving money"
this was the cheapest hotel on a given date. it is off the strip but a walking distance from action. all the other customers were over 70.Genuine Expedia guest review
It is just far enough from the Strip that you don't hear the noise & you don't have those annoying people trying to give you the cards for liasons with females. It is close to the Las Vegas Convention Centre & only a short drive, or a bit longer walk to other Casinos on the Strip. There is a pharmacy & Ross Department Store & souvenir stores within walking […] distance. This was originally the Debbie Reynolds Hotel & Casino & then the Greek Isles. It is small, but has a nice atmosphere about it & has nice patio & pool in the backyard. You can use your computer in your room & local calls are free as well as all 1-800 numbers. I enjoyed my stay at the Clarion. The hotel staff was extremely nice and very helpful! The convenience to the Las Vegas Convention Center couldn't be beat. I loved the in room refridgerator and coffee maker. My only issue is that the room was a bit chilly and putting on the heat didn't seam to have any effect.
