Not exactly a king one bedroom condo/suite. No doors between rooms. They are separated by the bathroom sink. You will walk in from outside directly into bed area not livingroom for almost all rooms. Lots of pools and hot tubs available to you but none of them are on this property. They also close all if them at dusk. You will have a view of the lake […] but not the gulf. In off season most surrounding businesses as re closed. We only found one resturant open for breakfast Corum's and we thought it was greasy. It is very hard to cook a full meal in the room no oven and kitchen sink very small. Should tell you this hotel will charge you $25 per day if you want bed made and clean towels in your room. You can exchange durty. or wet towels for new ones if you take them to front desk. We would not pay anything to stay here again. Read more

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and had a very relaxing stay. Very quit with great views. Our coffee pot stopped working but they replaced it very fast. That's about it, I will stay there again.

I thought overall the room was clean and a nice place to stay. I do have a couple of concerns. I could not believe there was no in- room enternet service at all and there is no inside pool as advertised. There is cell service dead zones all along that area and the hotel is right in the middle of one, so good luck if you need to stay in touch.

Check in was a breeze. The room was nice. The people were friendly. The views are very pretty but not ocean view. You can see pieces of the ocean through the line of rental homes in front of you but those homes are beautiful and there is a nice lake view in front of the inn. Thay means take your trash to the trash receptacle, get clean towels from the front and wash the dishes but it wasnt a huge deal for us because we were there for only one night...something to remember though. The room description was NOT accurate. We were told we would have a Deluxe King Suite; when we went directly to the hotel's website, that included a fireplace and hot tub. My girlfriend and I wanted to get away from the daily grind of our lives and we couldnt have chosen a better place to do it. Due to our stay being in the "off season"(in late October), we nearly had the resort and beaches to ourselves. This was a great place to stay outside of PC Beach. Not too far, but far enough away from all the traffic and crowded beaches. Service was friendly and helpful. The king suite was a great room for our 2 night stay to see a little bit of the panhandle for the first time. We discovered the really cute communities along route 30A while there so the location of Carillon just between the Panama City Beach and the 30A was perfect for us, with a night out at the bars of PCB one night and a quieter romantic dinner […] in Rosemary Beach the next night. Plus the bar near the Carillon shops has a great patio on the bay too. The room had everything you would need for a longer stay with an equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable although the window could use a darkening curtain and not just blinds. And the sitting room tv wasn't working, we think due to humidity, not sure. Cell reception is a little off and on there but it all worked out. There are great walking paths from the Inn around the bay through the lovely homes of Carillon and then many access points to the beach. The weather was warm enough to be in a swimsuit. We were very impressed by this resort. I admit, I was a little hesitant to stay at a pet-friendly hotel resort even though we are pet owners. We usually leave our little shih tzu with family but chose to take him this time. It was the perfect place to take him. I chose this resort bc they were pet friendly. We brought our dog with us (50lbs) and it was great! There were plenty of places to walk him and the views and surroundings were beautiful! Our room was large & very comfortable! We were on the ground floor overlooking the lake with a very nice kitchenette and patio. We ate breakfast & dinner on property. The service was great the first night however it was very slow on the second night. There was a free music concert that was very well attended and I don't think they anticipated the large […] crowd. The front desk was very accommodating on answering our questions about the property. They took us by golf cart to the beach area anytime we asked & offered to pick-us back up with only a phone call.The beach was beautiful & not crowded. Chair rentals are available if you don't have your own. We chose to take the 5 min walk back to the hotel. The 2nd night we borrowed the hotel bikes for our "free 1 hr" and rode around the property. The houses were lovely! We also used one of the pools. The only things we felt were overpriced was water & wine from the bar area in the lobby. We solved that problem by going off property to the grocery store located 5 minutes away. On property: Gift shop, ice cream shop, bike rental, Mexican restaurant coming soon. Would consider making arrangements to rent a golf cart if we stayed for a week. Overall, loved the place & will plan on returning with the family. Read more

Check in was a nightmare. I was misled about the room and its quality. The kitchen was NOT full. There was no jacuzzi on the balcony. The bathroom vanity was in the hallway and not with the toilet and tub. The tub was filthy with dirt and black marks everywhere. The room looked out to a muddy, seaweed lagoon. The market area was deserted and not pleasant. […] The entire setup was RUN DOWN and DREADFUL. There was no shuttle at all times and when you called for service no one answered.
