Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We decided to have our wedding at The Paresa after a brief visit, there was no stress involved planning our wedding as the wedding planner was professional and always responded promptly with any quieries that I had. On arrival the night prior to our wedding, my bridesmaids and I had dinner at the restaurant - the food and waiting staff were exceptional. On our wedding day it rained very heavily (a big risk when you decide to have your wedding during the wet season) so we were unable to have our ceremony outside but the staff moved it inside very quickly and our guests would not have known. We cannot fault anything about The Paresa - the setting, rooms, spa, service and food were all amazing!! I can honestly say that I have never experienced such a high standard of service. We can't wait to return one day and couldn't recommend The Paresa highly enough!!
"excellent view, excellent service but poor breakfast"

Paresa is one of my dream destination for many years until my dream came true. At first I can't make decision between the cliff villa and the cielo but after look through many reviews ,I booked 2 nights at the Cielo because of 360 degree of seaview. When I came to the resort, I was very excited. Everything is great. The service from every staffs are excellent. Especially my butler, she is very friendly and helpful. The villa is very beautiful and spacious. The bed and linen make you feel like sleep on cloud. The pool is big enough for swimming unlike many private pool villa that you can only sit in the pool. The view from the pool and balcony is great. But it's not 360 degree seaview as I expect ,on left side there are many construction of houses. So when I swim ,I have to look right only to get seaview. Another disappointed issue is that I've mentioned for about 2-3 times when make the reservation that I want a private villa because this is my anniversary trip. But after check in ,I notice that my villa is not private ,there are 3 more villa of the same type that have more privacy and still available but the resort didn't let me stay in. The most disappointed of this trip is the breakfast, I can vote that among 5 star resorts ( more than 20 resorts) that I stayed ,with same price or even lower price (about one-forth of Paresa) this is the poorest breakfast that I have seen before. The good parts of the breakfast are the view, the service and the fresh squeeze juice from the small buffet line. But the unacceptable part is that you can order only one dish from the a la carte menu. And even the normal menu like Pad thai , the taste is quite below average. I had stayed in many small luxury resort that let their customer choose from menu in stead of set up a fabulous buffet line like big size hotel. But they are normally unlimited order with good qualities ingredients. But Paresa only allow one order, and you give 2-3 small prawn in Pad thai.!!! and even it's my husband favorite menu, he eat only half of it and said that the taste is not good. But I still can say that , this is one of the impressive trip. And still want to come back to Paresa.

Paresa is beautifully located (as long as you enjoy the resort life style) in the mountains with breath taking views. The staff are spectacular - NOTHING is too much trouble. I cannot rave enough about the facilities, the breakfasts, the restaurant just everything was perfect!!! We will be returning without a doubt! The restaurant manager was incredibly helpful too. Angels rock!
"A perfect stay in a dream place for a heavenly wedding"

We held our wedding at the Paresa and stayed there for 1 week... it was just PERFECT. The place is beautiful with a stunning view, the villa is just WOW... no better word to describe! The food (both Thai & Italian) is amazing, we enjoyed the delicious breakfast as well as the room service or the dinner at Diavolo restaurant. The staff is very friendly and service minded, they recognised us, we felt very special. Wedding day can be a stressful moment but for us, we could trust Paresa, they are very reliable. They were present but at the same time discreet enough to make our day unforgettable. THANK YOU. The place is located on a cliff with nothing around, so perfect for a retreat. Hard to criticize when there is nothing to... hope you will enjoy Paresa as we did.... definitively a place to recommend.

We had a lovely week relaxing and catching up on a few books. Paresa provided what we needed. We had an Aqua Pool suite which was very comfortable, well appointed and had everything we needed. The view and private pool were tops and the rooms facilities were first class. Amenities were great as well. We found the staff very friendly, obliging and helpful. Even though there was a wedding held on one evening, this neither affected us, nor could we hear it. If there was anything to criticise it would be the restaurant. Breakfast was very good even though , on occasion, our order was not quite what we had asked for. Dinners were less good, possibly because the Thai menu had been somewhat sanitised for non-Thai people. Perhaps the restaurant menu is overly complicated providing too many Italian, Indian and Thai choices. The introduction of nightly special dishes, and a simpler menu based on local specialities would be a good innovation.
"A Perfect Get Away Place"
We had a marvelous 3N/4D stay at Paresa. The location was perfect for us. The place was peaceful with great and beautiful views that gives you calmness. Paresa has now become one of our favorite places to relax. We did encounter a few hiccups during our stay like the light were switched off when we were about to have a swim in the early evening and water supply stopped while I was in the shower. It took me and my hubby about 2 hours to finally complete individual shower due to intermittent water supply. We also noticed that there was no rubber mat in the shower room and bathtub. But these didn't dampen our spirit at all. Paresa will always be our destination in Phuket. We hope to see new additions in your menu though. It was nice meeting Paresa's new GM Dawid. Thank you for dropping by our table to say hi and please extend our sincerest thank you to the owner who showed us the best spot to take photos and to all the angels. You guys has made our stay memorable. A service from the heart goes a long way indeed. We will definitely come back with our boys next time. Keep up the good work you guys

Everything was perfect until there s brown color water coming out from the jaccuzi and we were staying at the diva spa pool villa. We have paid more to upgrade from aqua pool suite to this villa. However, the staff did not inform us that the emergency pipe leak out until we call the front desk. This was a poor reply and attitude that we did not feel sorry about it. The water leaking out was disgusting and dirty. For couples who are going to stay. BE Careful!!
"The Service is as great as the views"

My wife and I celebrated our 6th anniversary at this wonderful hotel. I must first commend the staff, they were wonderful right from the check in. And so attentive to details. As I was recovering from an accident and not so mobile, they placed us in a room close to the restaurant. We had a lot of room service, the food was good but second only to the street food in Bangkok. The views are magnificent and architecturally the resort couldn't have been any better. One of the nights I had severe pain in my ribs, they sent me to the hospital and even called in advance to ensure I would get proper attention there. Thanks. Look forward to making another trip back here soon. Thank you to the team at Paresa

My other half and I had 6 nights of absolute bliss staying at Paresa in June. The entire experience was amazing. The villa we stayed in was gorgeously appointed... with day beds outside overlooking the Andaman sea and our very own infinity plunge pool (which we took advantage of every day) Breakfast was such a treat... each day we tried something new from the a la carte choices, and I loved that there was a smoothie of the day, as well as many options with pastries, cold meats and so much fresh fruit. Absolutely delicious. The view from the restaurant was spectacular. We enjoyed happy hour every evening before enjoying the delectable thai dishes they had on offer. During an evening meal we commented on one of the entrees we loved and the executive sous chef (from memory I think his name is Pairoj) came out and was so appreciative of our feedback. We told him we were doing the cooking class later in the week and he arranged to have that particular entree on our menu in addition to the other items we were to cook. The cooking class experience was fantastic and it's certainly helped us improve our thai cooking skills. You not only receive the recipes for the meals, you also receive a Paresa apron. (very nice touch!) We also made use of the gym numerous times during our stay and they have some great equipment which was excellent. Helped make up for the overindulgence when it came to the phenomenal thai cuisine and delicious cocktails on offer. Overall the entire experience at Paresa was everything we could want in a holiday and so much more. The food, the people, the atmosphere, the villa and the hotel facilities were all fantastic. I'd most certainly recommend Paresa to anyone wanting to 'get away from it all' and enjoy some quality time with their loved one. All the angels do their best to ensure you have a wonderful stay, and we were certainly impressed with every one of them.
"Best experience in Phuket!"

We stayed at Paresa for 5 nights in early June for a babymoon. It is beautiful, quite private and the best hotel I have stayed at in Phuket in the 4 times I have been. "Welcome to Paresa!" is what we would say everytime we opened the doors from reception onto the Paresa rooftop lawn. The rooms are amazing (thank you Kade for putting us in an AQUA which was closest to the hotel's pool, library, restaraunt, gym, spa!). Big beds, bathrooms, walk in robe, plunge pool, outdoor shower! You don't have to leave your room, but the hotels facilities are also very nice. We did mornings by the hotel pool and afternoons on our villa daybeds. The quality of service at Paresa is among the best in Thailand. Staff are very professional and there is no rigidity when you ask for something out of the norm - I was able to use a staff PC to access MS excel in the library. The only tip for travellers is don't put your passport in the hidden drawers under the desk. I did and did not realise I did not have them until we were half way to the airport. In a moment of considerable stress, Paresa had all available staff on deck, the wonderful hotel manager (4 days into the job) was keeping us calm while methodically directing staff who searched the room and turned their office upside down. They contacted the staff member who checked us in and amazingly she recalled I put our passports into the desk drawers, and sure enough, there they were! I know I'm an idiot, but the staff at Paresa are quite the opposite! They were wonderful!
