The hotel was fine. Service was fine. Location was fine. The only complaints are 1) the toilet was loose at the floor flange so it leaked if jostled at all. 2) The drain in the bathtub didn't seal so a bath out of the question. 3) Told at check in that breakfast was 6:30-9:30. Rolled in hot at 9:05 and it was all put up. According to staff the hours […] were changed to 6:00-9:00 after we checked in. They gave us some donuts and milk for the kids, so tragedy averted but anything of substance was inaccessible. On the good side they have 50 channels on the t.v., good WiFi, and everyone was very nice. I'd stay again...especially since it was $40.00 cheaper than the other five hotels within 1/4 mile. I've stayed in three of the five and all are nicer but not $40.00 night nicer. Read more

The Days Inn was fine for the price and the breakfast was great. You can get your eggs cooked like you want, which is better than other competing hotels that offer a typical Continental breakfast. All in all it wasn't too bad. The night time staff was great and very friendly. The day time staff, not so much. Front desk clerk was a little short with my wife when she asked a question about breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast wasn't good. Check in was quick and fast, room was clean and neat. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint I had was that there was no plug in the tub to take a bath. Didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that.

Having stayed in different hotels in the past, this one was the best so far. I was pleasantly surprised with the room...it was roomy, clean, and nice. The staff was great! I will make this my hotel of choice the next time I visit McAlester.

Everything was fine, except that our room smelled a little funny. This may be related to the fact that we had requested a "pet friendly" room. Breakfast was good for this price range, and the hotel was in nice condition. Location is not exactly scenic, being next to Wal-Mart, but good access to US-69.

Check-in was quick and courteous. Room was clean and spacious. Everything had a feeling of dampness and the a/c could not/did not cool or dehumidify the room enough to be comfortable. The hotel and staff were really great, I gave them a 3 on the condition and maintanance of the hotel only because the tredmill in the gym was not working properly, hopefully they get a new one for those that enojoy getting some excercise in while they stay in a hotel like myself.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location was very convenient (1/2 way point of our overall destination). It was right off the main highway and right next to Walmart, food and gas.

We spent our first night as a married couple in this hotel. It is very conveniently located right off the highway - next to Walmart. Our room was quiet and very clean. The breakfast was cooked fresh eggs and bacon. They had all the normal continental breakfast fare as well. The staff was great and very friendly too!

This hotel's rate was significantly less than some of the other hotel chains that have properties nearby to this Days Inn. I was pleasantly surprised how new and well-furnished the rooms were. Everything was extremely clean... spotless. The complimentary breakfast was also very good.

Very nice stay, clean rooms, friendly staff. I only had one complaint. There wasn't any way to block the light from coming through the window. The curtain was not sufficient enough.

McAlester has had a hotel boom in the last year, but this Days Inn is a great find for your money. The hotel is a little over a year old and is very attractive, comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and accomodating. They have a very nice breakfast bar, in which the attendant will prepare eggs and bacon if you so desire. They also offer a good […] assortment of cereals, sweet rolls, muffins, bagels, bread, fresh fruit, juices and waffles. The hotel sits back from the highway on a little hill. There is a Walmart next door at the bottom of the hill, so that is most convenient if you need to purchase something you forgot to pack, or if you want to stock the little refrigerator in the room. Our room was very quiet and well maintained. My only discomfort was that I found it to be a little humid, although the air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool during the hot weather. We travel to McAlester a number of times during the year, and we plan to stay at this hotel for each visit. Read more

Well we arrived a little late for checkin because of my husbands job that morning. The Desk associates were great and verified my reservation with the hotel and checked us in. To our surprise they put us in the Handicap room right by the lobby common room and breakfast area. Was a little too close and noisey for comfort. Our room was cosey and neat. […] Was delighted to know that the days inn is Pet Friendly so our dog Blue was comfortable too. Also was great to have a washer and dryer for public use. Erg prettig hotel! Heel netjes en goed verzorgd allemaal. Badkamer en bedden heerlijk schoon. Ontbijt voldoende en elke ochtend mogelijkheid om vers ei (naar wens) met bacon te krijgen! Ook waffles en brood om te roosteren e.d. Prima!
