Hotel Lee - Cartagena

Hotel Lee is just outside the walled city, (walking distance) so the location is great. The rooms are plain but clean. The road is kind of busy so maybe a bit noisy is you're on the 1st floor near the front - not sure. I was on the 3rd near and noise was not a problem. Breakfast is included. They change the type of juice and fruit everyday but apart […] from that its scrambled eggs everyday. So if you're picky this might cause a problem, but otherwise no. Had access to internet for 3 days but then something happened and there was no internet for two days. They tried to figure it out, but couldn't. However, this was not such a big deal to me. This is a solid 3 Star Property. The property is very close to the walled city, restaurants and ATM. The family room was large (two floors) and the AC worked very well. Hotel is in a decent location in Getsemani, in front of Getsemani Mall. If you are staying in Cartagena, its best to stay in the Old Cartagena rather then Bocagrande or other sorrounding areas. The hotel is lovely. The rooms have no windows but that is fine as it can be very noisy in the neighbor hood. The hotel staff are friendly but do not speak any English so be sure you know a little bit. The rooftop pool is fantastic and they even have rooftop area that gives you 360' views of Cartagena. They have hot showers however they are run by electrics […] and when change the settings it does spark. So be careful. Otherwise we used the rooftop shower by the pool after having a swim. Breakfast is limited to eggs eggs or eggs. With fruit and juice and coffee or tea. It's a secure building which is great. The hotel is well located , very close to the convention center so for that is good ti people that have meetings there, is clean and the breakfast is delicius, the problem is that is noise at nigth because it is located next to the disco, also they don't have black out in windows, if you need that conditios to sleep like me, that is no the place.

I Pay more than 140usd for one night. The TV does not work. The safe was closed and the hotel guy did not know how to ooen. The breakfast include egg and 2 pieces of bread and cold and hot drinks. When I asked for more bread I was asked to pay for.
