Very nice cozzy hotel, friendly staff. The minor drawback was that the street in front was completely jammed by traffic but there are some other routes.

This is the second time I have stayed at this establishment, the first time on business and this time as a romantic getaway. For both, it is excellent, because its location is off the beaten track. It is not so far away from Cuernavaca, however: a taxi ride takes 30 minutes and costs less than 300 pesos. It has a beautiful setting, literally right on the edge of a lake. Dining is romantic and pleasurable at all times of the day. There are many things that can be done from this hotel: watersports and tours on the lake, and dancing at local clubs, for example. Other reviews have noted a "run down" nature of this property. This is not true. The property is older, but that is part of its charm. Our room had no wifi signal, but that presented very minor complications. Overall, it provided a very enjoyable experience, and I have no hesitation in recommending it for a romantic, business, or multi-purpose stay.

This hotel is very close to the center of town and conveniently located within walking distance of Sanborns, cyber cafes, and other stores. It is a short... taxi ride to the bus station. The staff at the hotel is excellent. The kitchen/dining manager Miguel is bi-lingual and willing to assist with any needs. Marlon runs the front desk at night and is also bi-lingual. The hotel managers speak English as well. We requested a room change and it was done promptly. The beautiful landscaped grounds are well-maintained and relaxing. The kitchen will prepare custom orders without complaint and are fair with their pricing. The relaxing atmosphere and music of the dining area is wonderful. Everything about this establishment is "Mexican." The architecture of the hacienda-type edifice, the colors (those Mexican oranges and blues), the room furnishings, the restaurant menu, the hospitalidad of the staff. Located two blocks from the active and exciting plaza central, it is convenient, but also is a world of its own, with its enclosed gardens […] and pool and a wonderful quietness. The food at the restauant is a perfect combination of Mexican tradition and inventiveness. The Cristina has lots of character. The day staff is sensational, extremely helpful, friendly. The facilities are lovely. Rooms are super clean and rooms are enchanting, especially the bathroom--suites, less so regular rooms. The pool needs a bit of attention, however. Clean but a bit old. Some attention there is needed. No pool attendant or bar or […] anything. Regretfully, the surrounding area is extremely loud. This is the case for the entire city. High walls provide privacy but car noise, especially horns, carry over. I still thought the Cristina was well worth it. Read more

Muy buena atención del personal, habitación limpia, PERO demasiado ruido del tráfico al rededor del hotel, mucho ruido de bar cercano al hotel. No pude dormir nada. Instalaciones en mal estado. Ke falta bastante mantenimiento en general.
