      We spent only 2 days in Acajou hotel in Praslin and we had to book on a short notice. I think it's a good hotel for what we paid. The check in was smooth and reasonably quick. They showed us to the rooms and we saw that one of the bedsheets was dirty so they changed it immediately. Breakfast selection was alright but not amazing...but there's not many restaurants around so you better have it. Shops in the Island close early so you probably will have dinner there as well....don't order the steaks. Also make sure you have an insect repellant handy as there are tiny mosquitoes around at night. Lastly, don't waste your time at the hotel beach, head to Anse Lazio ASAP.

      Value was good.. I'm not picky and don't require fancy surroundings with a pool and overpriced room, restaurtant, etc. Even thouigh I gave this place high marks, irt's based on price vs value. What did bum me out was CROWING ROOSTERS.. starting at 5 am.. incessantly, ALL DAY LONG. If I could have figured a way to take out the two roosters without getting caught, I would have. I was very glad to be leaving when I did.

      We enjoyed our stay at Birgo in La Digue. Denise the manager was kind to arrange certain things for us. We just wish we were told ahead of time that there would be a fee for the bikes as we thought it was complementary. The breakfast on the verranda was lovely; gardens beautifully kept, nice pool although small; lovely lounge area and happy to get wireless internet although difficult at times. The restaurant at Chateau St. Cloud was excellent for our halfboard; superb! Thanks again for helping to make our time at spectacular La Digue so memorable!

      This is is a very nice small hotel. In my view it was worth the money. The view was spectacular, but perhaps not unusual for Seychelles. The beach was beautiful, but not ideal. Elsewhere, I would have said "wow" but in Seychelles, I found myself disappointed by sinking pits of mud underwater in the beach. Also, while nice and quiet, the beach is so flat that I never reached a depth of of my armpits (and I think I went out nearly a half mile ... or so it felt). However, the staff is exceptional. While they may not seem over-the-top friendly, they know what they are doing and they pay attention. My GF had a very odd request at one meal, and by the next morning all the staff knew about it and it was ready for every subsequent meal, even though the menu is supposed to be fixed and not a-la-carte. If you are a "germa-phobe" you might not like it, because the tiny ants that are everywhere. They don't bite and are harmless, but (at least at the ground level) they are pervasive.

    les appartements sont spatieux et propres. l'immense jardin est bien entretenu et plein de plantations. anse possession est mal située dans le sens où il n'y a que des habitations.donc impossible de trouver une épicerie à moins de 2km, anse volbert.mais la plage est devant les apparts (avec taxi boats pour excursions vers curieuse, st pierre...). anse […] tres calme. la literie est par contre mauvaise, mal de dos chaque matin car matelas avec ressorts "à fleur de peau". le matos de cuisine est rudimentaire et la pression de l'eau est tres faible, faut pas etre pressé pour prendre sa douche, parfois meme avec un filet d'eau... mais l'accueil est nickel, tres discret et serviable. à recommander plutot pour des familles Read more

    La nostra permanenza ad Hideaway Apartments è stata un mix di fatti positivi e (pochi) negativi. La struttura è sicuramente recente, gli appartamenti sono molto spaziosi, dotati di cucinotto, la pulizia del locale è curata, il proprietario è quasi sempre presente e disponibile alle richieste. Le uniche note negative a nostro avviso sono i letti (davvero […] un pò troppo rigidi), la posizione non ideale poichè non è vicina a ristoranti o negozi, è necessario spostarsi con i bus (ne passa uno ogni ora circa), noleggiando una macchina o una bicicletta (le strade hanno però molte salite e discese ripide, fino al 30%di pendenza!). Abbiamo poi avuto dei problemi con l'erogazione dell'acqua, il flusso ai rubinetti era sempre molto scarso, a stento si riuscivano a lavare i piatti... la doccia era davvero un esercizio di economia. Spesso poi l'acqua non c'era proprio... ad esempio di notte. Non siamo riusciti a capire se la penuria era un problema comune a tutta la zona o se piuttosto era un problema della struttura. Nel complesso il nostro è stato un soggiorno positivo e piacevole, nonostante questi piccoli contrattempi. Read more
