This was a nice, cozy 2-3 star hotel. Up side is it was clean, quiet and had a nice breakfast. Down side is that the room was a bit small, parking was limited and it was a somewhat hard to find. Lovely quaint hotel with a modern touch. The staff was helpful and all spoke English. Location was very convenient within 10 minute walk from old town. The double room was not that big but had a computer with free wifi which was nice. Beds were comfortable as well. Nice breakfast!

The check-in was swift, and the reception, Mr. R and Ms. A, were friendly and helpful. I was given a map, and pointed to some of the main sights. The room was very comfortable and it was more than sufficient for one. A variety of TV channels to choose from, so no problem for non-Slovak speakers. The bartenders, Mr. T and Mr. D were attentive and quick to requests. The lights, I must add, are very classy and snazzy, with touches of soothing blues and light yellow. Romantic is another appropriate word to describe. In the evening, I was contemplating whether I should visit the Devin Castle. Ms. Y and Mr. G at the reception were such greater listeners, and provided me with suggestions and thoughts. As Ms. Y put it, "it is a ruin". I went on Friday morning and it was closed! Ahaha. I checked out at 2pm, and there was no problem. And please allow me to compliment the intern who was there, Mr. M. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and provided me with many great ideas! And very patient to my many questions! ALL in all, the experience was a perfect 7 (on a scale of 5!), and I would not hesitate to return to Hotel Danubia Gate on my next trip back to Bratislava, and recommend it to my friends! Everything about this hotel was lovely ... except the "tech" items. Not one for television, the stay was during the Olympics and I wanted to catch up on the day's action. Not only was the TV not working correctly, after contacting the Reception twice - including two visits to my room vs. using time for sightseeing - by that evening the TV did not work […] at all. The Danubia Gate was a very nice hotel, conveniently located a short distance from the main square in Bratislava. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good, and the staff very helpful. All in all I would recommend this hotel to tourists and business travellers.

From A to Z perfect. To me secure parking was what I needed. Hotel was just as great. Location right in center next to old town. Room with everything. Full comp scaner printer..3 tv sets. In room over head and in bathroom. Modern lightning. Room was better than last hotel I was in Grand Hyatt Shanghai where I paid 600$ per night. I will be back.

The Danubia Gate Hotel was great. I stayed for one night only but would hapilly stay once again. Staff was very friendly and service great. Great breakfast and location. Free wi-fi. All good! I recommend it.

Staff were great! Room was very well equpped and even fitted with a nice PC. Wireless access was easy and breakfast was delicious. Free glass of wine at night. Large room, very comfortable. I had a fantastic stay and would certainly return if I were to visit Bratislava again.

A modern style boutique hotel set just a short stroll from the old town area. It was in good condition and clean. Particularly liked the convenience of a computer in the bedroom. Would happily recommend this hotel to others, particularly those who prefer a smaller hotel environment. Temperature controls were good in bedroom.

This is a modern hotel in a very good location. The hotel is very clean and well equipped with a tv, dvd player and pc in the room. The breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is next to Tesco and about 5 minutes walk from the old town. The main train station is about 30 minutes walk away.

We stayed in this hotel in Oct 2011 for three nights during our visit to Slovakia. We arranged pickup from Bratislava airport with the hotel which was easy and convenient. The room was very well equiped with spa bath and staff service was excellent. Området er roligt, og der er super god service af de sødeste, hjælpsomme og engelsk talende personale. Der vaf 4 moderne fladskærm´s-TV i hhv. stue, soveområde og badeværelse, samt moderne computer på værelset med tilslutning til fx. TV. FLOT!! Velfungerende og meget sikkert WIFI system, som virkede perfekt på værelset. Det kan faktisk ikke blive meget bedre... og så var det billigt. I øvrigt er Bratislava en skøn by, med perfekte shopping muligheder i store moderne shoppingcentre. Godt beliggende, få min. gang fra den historiske bydel. Dejlig afslappet atmosfære og ekstremt servicemindet personale. Rigtig god morgenmad. Pænt rent overalt og godt badeværelse. Stort varehus med supermarked i kælderen 1 min.s gang fra hotellet. Eneste minus, var at køleskabet på værelset ikke virkede.

Spent here one night in the end of September. Location is very handy and easy to reach by car. Very good and safe private parking place, friendly staff, good breakfast, big rooms and a lovely Jaguzzi! Nothing to complain! We were very satisfied with this hotel and would definitely recommend it to other travellers, too.
