Wyndham Grand Playa Blanca - Panama

I stayed at this hotel on November 2011 when it was Royalton, and came back thinking things had not changed. Boy, was I wrong! For starters, we got room 907. This room in particular has only 1 window and the shade was broken. We called maintenance and were told "a guest had broken it and it could not be fixed". We were in the dark the whole time we […] were in the room. The humidity smell... awful! My daughter had a fever and couldnt get out of the room,so we wanted to take her some food from the buffet and although we explained the situation restaurant captain said no, we were not allowed to take food to the rooms; and to make things worse, there is no room service. We made reservations for both the Aqua and Grill restaurants (both nights) our names were no where to be found, but I guess the hostess took pitty on us and gave us a table. We ordered a med-rare rib eye steak and a well donde NY steak. The cuts were neither, you could tell easily that it was cheap meat. I honestly cant believe the hotel changed so much in one year. I will not go back. The service was terrible as well... If you are considering this hotel, I would recomend to think it twice. Choose hotels such as Buenaventura, or Decameron Villas. We enjoyed the amenities at the Royalton - - the pool was lovely (although a bit cloudy) and the beach was fantastic. We did have to get out early to reserve chairs in the shade, but this was expected as we were there over the New Year holiday and the hotel was very full. The food was passable, but not amazing. The entertainment was a ton of fun!

Horrible stay! An it was crazy expensive a night. Cochroaches, bad smells, broken doors, bad food, bad service. Waited 2 hours for sushi. One bar staff most times. Waited 2 hours for a drink that never came. Gave us a double when we asked for a king and when we went to change they said they had no rooms but when we complained about the door at the stench […] they said they had other rooms but that we had been upgraded to that room and the other were not as good. Fui con mis hijos, y una de las principales atracciones para los niños es la piscina. La misma estuvo cerrada prácticamente toda la mañana y sólo se abrió una hora antes de la hora de la salida, sin ninguna explicación aparente. Consultamos al personal del hotel, y no nos dieron ninguna respuesta satisfacctoria. Het hotel is niet 5 sterren waardig, qua hotelkamer, eten en sevice. Het zwembad en het strand is daarintegen echt heerlijk en relaxed. Als je een goede prijs kunt krijgen voor het hotel is het zeker een aanrader. Als je er teveel voor betaald zal het tegenvallen voor wat je er voor terug krijgt.

Das Hotel scheint sich noch zum Teil im Bau zu befinden (deshalb recht günstig zu bekommen). Es ist aber schon eine schöne Anlage mit netter Poollandschaft und gut eingerichteten Zimmern. Die Drinks waren allerdings enttäuschend - den ganzen Tag Rum-Cola oder Pina Colada war bisschen langweilig. Die "besseren" Drinks mit Gin, Campari, Baileys, etc. waren nicht im "all inclusive" inbegriffen. Der Hauswein ungeniessbar. Insgemsamt war es aber ein schöner Aufenthalt, das Wetter schlägt einfach alle nervigen Kleinigkeiten. Der Strand ist schön, auch wennd as Wasser nicht glasklar ist. La comida; es especialmente servida con mucha delicadesa y exelente sabor y especialmente cuando es acompañada de un buen vino o una muy buena champaña, la verdad es que es bastante de lujo para el precio que te cobran. es un hotel con muy buena seguridad para los huespedes, lo malo es; que solo me quede por tres dias y hubiese querido quedarme poe treinta dias. Estuvimos alojados en el Hotel, el punto a destacar, sin dudas, el la cordialidad de todos los empleados, atentos a todo y muy respetuosos y por sobre todo muy alegres! lo que fue muy importante llegando muy estresados despues de tantos meses de trabajo!
