I have got to say that this was the absolute best motel stay experience I have ever had in or out of the U.S. The service was excellent. The staff was so very nice and accommodating, it was so refresshing to have staff that wer pleasant and helpful with everything from accommodations to getting around the area. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel associates were friendly and accomodating. It was pouring rain when we left to walk to a restaurant, and the concierge lended us a large umbrella, which was wonderful. We spent some time at the pool and were so impressed y the relaxing atmosphere. We live in Lancaster, so we were only staying in Lancaster as a fun […] evening away from home, and it was perfect. The only change I would have made was that I would have liked to have been informed that there was a dance competition going on, where there were many young children and parents running all over the hotel in leotards and sports bras, creating a 2 hour wait at the hotel restaurant, and luckily we were able to go to the pool before the rush came. It should be advertised on the site as a sidenote, "Please check hotel site to view convention and activities prior to booking." What a wonderful hotel. I recently stayed at this property on Valentines Day Weekend 2013. I was very happy with my stay very impressed with the staff and the overall experience at this hotel. I got in kind of late but the front desk was ok with that and had me setup immediately for a late night arrival. Everything was very fine about the hotel and service, but I happened to go on a bad weekend where there was a dance-gym competition at the attached convention center and the place was packed with young girls and teenagers dancing, jumping, running, playing dance music all over the place. They were running and jumping in the hallways, going back and […] forth to rooms, playing loud music in the hallways, and overall it was horrible. Parents were no better. I intended on having a nice two night stay over a weekend and it ended up being a nightmare. The rooms and service were good, but boy, did I pick the wrong weekend! I would have rather been there when the quilt show is in town and all the old ladies are knitting and making quilts. Then again, maybe they would have been noiser!!! Hotel was great! Staff were warm and friendly. When I found a broken desk chair they promptly fixed before anyone got hurt. When we tried to shut the curtains, the bracket was broken. They tried to fix it but it didn't work. We were upgraded to a corner room! The area around the hotel could be better.

Clean hotel great linens, very good service. Town market directly across the street filled with Amish fare and fresh produce etc. The Marriott restored old Lancaster treasure in architecture and history in the lower levels of the hotel. Bravo!

The room is terribly overpriced. In addition to paying too much for the room, I also had to pay for parking ($16.00 per day for self-park, $24.00 for valet park). The parking garage might as well be on the moon it is so far away from the lobby. The room is clean and comfortable, but not outstanding or luxurious. Trying to get breakfast in the dining […] room was a frustrating experience, and also overpriced. I finally settled for just coffee and juice as the service was terrible and the buffet was unappetizing. The bacon and sausage were basically just warmed over, almost raw. The breakfast potatoes were soggy. I waited 8 or 9 minutes for sugar for my coffee. My husband ordered off the menu and was satisfied with his omelette, but he felt the bacon was almost all fat and the coffee was weak. If I need to spend the night in Lancaster again, I will definitely try a different hotel, although there didn't seem to be any others centrally located that weren't scary. I guess when you have a monopoly on hotel rooms, you can overcharge and get away with it. Read more

We thought the rooms could have been better maintained. When I went to use the air dryer, there was makeup on the handle. I was very pleased, and have stayed there for a conference before. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been getting the king-size bed that was booked instead of 2 doubles. Considering it was only for one night, I wasn't going to complain or switch.

We went for a one-night little getaway and it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and seemed to not get heated over the other complications (there was a large wedding and board retreat the same weekend). I recommend and will definitely go back!

The price I paid for this property was too high. The value was less than I paid ...parking was $ 28 per night ... ridiculous! The front desk staff at checkout was terse and apparently not interested in our smooth departure. I was very disappointed in this Marriott property and recommend that you take it off your preferred list.

I would recommend the Lancaster Marriott. The personnel was very friendly and accommodating. The location is terrific. The beds felt a bit small but were very comfortable. I normally do not sleep well in hotel rooms but I had 2 great nights of sleep.

Love this hotel. Great rooms, clean, convenient to walk to local restaurants, shops, and the Central Market. The only thing I don't like is trying to park in the garage and lug all of the luggage around. But aside from that, it's a wonderful hotel.
