Warm hospitality, hotel is perfect size for relaxing, not too big that you get lost. Breakfast buffet is a good start to the day. Had a great time, will definitely stay again if in the area.

Touches like small floral arrangements, chocolates, Christmas decorations and the daily breakfast spread were appreciated greatly .The Christmas Gala dinner with band and local dances made the Christmas celebrations unique and memorable. The Casa de Goa website is vague on the distance to the beach, but as of today the Expedia description includes " is just a 5-minute walk from popular Calangute Beach." Look, I loved this hotel, but this is flat wrong unless you are a jogger. Further the staff recommends going via the street in front of the hotel and turning on the main Calangute Beach […] road - a road that brings on past many vendors and has lots of traffic and take 10-15 minutes. There is a faster way to a more remote, but more charming in many ways part of the beach which also has seaside restaurants and lounge chairs with umbrellas through an quiet older part of town that is mainly residential, But that takes at least 10 minutes also. If you don't want to walk, taxis are readily available and really cheap. But Expedia should not have misleading information on time to the beach! Whoever took their photos- deserves an award! The bathrooms in the deluxe rooms look more like a Motel 6 in the 80's. I was giving a room facing a parking lot above the kitchen- very loud! I asked to be moved and the front desk guy didn't seem to care! I complained to the night manager and he said he would move me the next day. Joyce the day manager […] said it was full, might move me the third day. Only moved after saying they misleaded hotels.com and would leave a negative review. The rooms are okay, if facing the pool. The morning breakfast is decent and the staff are friendly. They have strange rules about bringing guests into your rooms and you are not allowed to take any outside food or drink into the hotel- first time I've ever experienced this! The location is nice and close to the beach. They rate this hotel as a 3.5-4.0 star property depending on the site you look at. At best I would rate this hotel as a 2.5-3.0 star. Everything was alright with my stay at the hotel. Just one thing that I did not like.I had made a booking for 2 people. When I arrived at the hotel we had a friend with us who was dropping us off and was to spend some time with us and leave in a couple of hours. The hotel staff did not allow my friend to go to my room with us.I had to pay an extra Rs […] 1500 for my friend to just spend some time with us in the room. Well maintained hotel. Rooms surround the swimming pool, looks good but the swimming revelers' noise levels prevent a siesta. A strange rule says that you cannot consume outside food or liquor in your room.

Really nice hotel, location is brilliant 5 min walk to the calangute beach and 7 mins by taxi to baga beach. Calangute market is about 8 min walk from this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Cleaning was done well, though a bit late in the afternoon, and they always came to clean when we were in the room, even though we spend about 4-5hours every morning away from the hotel room. Pool area was comfortable and clean. Minibar prices, room service and hotel restaurant prices were very low and food […] was excellent. Also the breakfast was abundant including western and indian food e.g. fresh fruits, croissants, juice etc... Only major complaint for us was the quite noisy neighborhood, ear pluggs were necessary to get some sleep. Also the hotel organized ever 2nd- 3rd day live music shows at the pool are. The music was very loud even inside our room and lasted till 10:30pm, which we found raher annoying especially on the first night with the jet lag and wanting to get to sleep early. Christmas eve gala dinner was a compulsory extra payment of about 2500 INR per person not including drinks. The food was great and very decorative but still we thought the cost was quite high compared to normal dinner at a reastaurant, which was about 800INR including the drinks. Read more

On arrival, we had some issues with our booking. Initally we booked a double room and a triple room. We emailed the hotel as asked for a mattress to be placed in the triple room as another friend was joining us. However, when we arrived they said they don't have triple rooms so a mattress will be placed in both rooms. It wouldn't have been a problem, […] except my husband and I were on our honeymoon (in the double room) and they charged us for a triple room.I would suggest Expedia liaise with Casa de Goa as they do not provide triple rooms and this should be noted when booking. I had plan to visit GOA on my first anniversary and was searching for hotels which is located in cream of Nrth Goa and everything is accessible from there. So I chose Casa De Goa as my hotel to stay there. I stayed for 3 days and what an excellent experience it was. Rooms were nice since no view was tehre but sitting in balcony on pool side fill up […] that space. I had some special requirement for room deco to give it as a surprise to my wife and hotel people did that in a style and made my stay a memorable one, Also accessibilty to most of the places was nice and the hotel staff was very friendly keeping smile on their faces everytime we pass bye. We met Leslie outside the hotel and he was the man responsible for taxi things and was very co-operative adn cheap but need to do some talks before coming to a satisfactory amount, Overall it was wonderful and would recommend for other people who want to stay in a good hotel in budget. The hotel was good with some areas of improvement. The room was clean and comfy, so was the pool. The food and service was also good. The hotel may add some place to clean your shoes out side the hotel as coming from beach you usually carry lot of sand which end up in you bed. I spent 3 weeks at the Casa de Goa and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It is a lovely hotel with very friendly, kind and considerate staff including the gardeners who take a pride in their work and keep the gardens beautifully. The rooms are kept very clean and tidy on a daily basis and the beds and bedding most comfortable. The two swimming pools […] are well kept and most refreshing. Food is of a good standard and drinks well priced. Room service is very good and staff anticipate your requirements. I was having a lot of dental work done and the chef even did mashed bananas and ice cream for me. The hotel is conveniently situated a 10 minute walk from the beach and also 10 minutes to the main high street. Отдыхали в данном отеле в апреле 2011 с двумя маленькими детьми 1 и 3 года. Територия отеля небольшая, но очень ухоженная с прекрасным садом и пальмами. Отель сам разделен на две половины - 1. Основной корпус, где располагается reception и ресторан,бассейн; 2. отдельная територия через дорогу где располагаются двухэтажные домики вокруг бассейна. Жили […] во втрой части, в номере - спальня, гостиная, санузел, кухня. Номер достаточно не плохо обставлен, уборка каждый день. Из номера есть допольнительный выход напрямую к бассейну. Постояльцы отеля - русские и индусы (как правило образованные и обеспеченные) . На завтрак как правило индийские блюда (есть можно), европейская кухня практически отсутствует. До моря медленным шагом минут 10. С таксистами у отеля нужно долго торговаться - заламывают нереальные цены. В округе есть достаточное количество разных кафе, советую есть там где питаются иностранцы. Read more
