Smashed dead bug on the wall ans dried gross looking white stuff on headboard. Wallpaper peelin bathroom. Not a homey feeling and headboards were very cheesy looking. Breakfasts was good and desk staff was very nice.

My son and I went for 3 days in August 2012. The hotel was exactly what I was expecting. It is no 4 star hotel, but I was not expecting that. It is clean, staff was helpful, no issues. Is only 1 block from the boardwalk on 1st street, and that is where I wanted to be, very central to everything Ocean city has to offer. Very nice hotel. Were put on 5th floor with a peak-a-boo view of the ocean -- which was nice. Much better than the average buffet breakfast. But the best thing we liked in addition to the hotel itself was the location -- which was one block from the ocean in the "old downtown' section of OC, In fact, we parked the car in their lot when we arrived and […] didn't even drive it the entire next day -- walked to the boardwalk, beach, bike rental store, north jetty, Talbot Street restaurants and docks. Our ONLY issue was our bed was not made after the first of two nights. (Maybe because we had a 'do not disturb' sign up for a couple of hours in the morning.) In Ocean City for post Labor Day vacation. Booked 2 queen bed room. Was told microwave only came with king bed rooms. recieved free upgrade by front desk staff.both rooms were clean but 1st room had loaf of bread stuck behind fridge. King bedroom came with pullout sofa which was very uncomfortable. Wife & I slept on it 1st nite, didn't get much sleep. […] Kids slept there last 2 nites with lots of complaints. Nice free breakfast which saved some spending money. Easy access to beach, only short block away from boardwalk. lots of things to do close by. The hotel is below average for the money. Upon my arrival to the room, I noticed that the sheets were not changed from the previous passenger. I called the front desk and asked them to come up to change them. The carpets throughout the hotel is very bad. You don't want to walk bare feet. Breakfast buffet is fine. overall my wife and i had a great experience at sleep inn. Carol at the front desk was great with checking in and helping us with places to eat and visit. the elevator is alittle slow, but that was my only complaint good breakfast and right across from first street on boardwalk

My son and I have stayed here for the past three yrs. We love it. Very clean, close to beach and the breakfast that they offer now is alot to choose from and overall great. The staff is very nice as well as got to know Mrs Carol the manager, who she remembers us when we stay. Great for families and quiet :)

Overall we had a great family vacation at this hotel. There were two adults, one 16 year old and one 12 year old in the same room. Surprisingly, there was plenty of room - the room was large and included a very nice balcony which was great for relaxing and drying out towels, bathing suits, etc. Check In was smooth, breakfast was pretty good - overall […] a very nice hotel in a great location. ** One caveat ** I used a credit card at the front desk when I arrived - I had not used that card for over a year and did not use it again while at all while on vacation. When we returned home, I received notice from my credit card company that a $200 online charge was made with my card on the day of my check-in within hours of arrival. The location was great - close to the boardwalk and beach. Hotel staff was friendly and accomodating. Would stay again. The rooms were clean and updated. Had a fridge in the room but the microwave was down in the lobby. Other than that, very pleased with the hotel.

My kids are all teens so crossing the busy road to get to the beach wasn't an issue. If they were smaller and we had more items to take with us, it would be big problem as there is no traffic light to provide crossing time. No eggs for breakfast but enough variety to satisfy most everyone and a huge money-saver!. Parking tight. I read of street noise […] in other reviews, but we were right on the busy side and were not bothered by it at all. Wobbly Wheels bike rentals is right across the street, and a beach entrance also. I was very satified with my stay. The hotel was only a short block from the boardwalk and beach. Other attractions were within a short walk and although we couldn't see the beach from the room we could see the fireworks and other attractions from the balcony. The hotel was clean and quiet. It was OK, bed was very hard and uncomfortable. They had a nice waffle maker, however they ran out of syrup on the second morning we were there. They did have some the next morning. Also thought the rates were a little high compared to some of the advertised rates I saw at other hotels during our stay.

Perfect for the price. The room was very quiet despite a lot of outside noise which you expect at a busy beach location with a lot of night activity. They must have good insulation in the walls. The air conditioner worked great. The staff was very friendly.

Had a two night stay and was given a king suite. Had to change rooms due to king suites only having shower stalls and no tubs. We were given a room with two queens and a tub that was quite spacious. Road noise from Baltimore Ave is an issue and you will hear it when you sleep. Very nice choice for Ocean City. A nice change from most of the other hotels on the strip. Obviously has to be put in perspective with the price, this is not a luxury stay. But nice and clean hotel in a good location. Only wish is that pool was bigger and breakfast had more healthy choices.
