Perfectly acceptable, nice friendly and helpful staff at check in. Old hotel and in need of updates but certainly worth the price. Excellent views on the road to hotel. Recommend if you are not seeking luxury.

Everything about the hotel was just great. It's an older facility but it's in good repair. It snowed in Sedona the night we were there and it was so nice to have the fireplace! The views were also fantastic. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Helpful staff, wonderful views!! If you're going to stay in Sedona, this is the place to do it. It sits up on a hill, overlooking the city and all the beautiful red rock formations. Seeing sunrise and sunset from the private overlook was breathtaking.

The rooms at Sky Ranch are clean but dark. The walls are paper thin. The bathrooms are clean, large, and bright with fluffy new towels. The staff is friendly and responsive. The place is serious need of an update because it looks like the last time it was decorated was sometime in the 80's, but the real draw here is the views. The location is wonderful. It's up high over Sedona, so you have an unobstructed view of the rocks as well as the town. You're also away from people, so it's very peaceful. The fireplace is wonderful & the patio for each room is great, too. Only thing is that the patios aren't private, you are able to walk straight down the patio to every other room's, […] so pretty much, in the middle of the night, your neighbors could walk directly to your patio door. That wasn't a big deal to us since we were there during a snowstorm, but it could be an issue w/ noise & wandering drunk neighbors. Heather worked well. Water was hot & water pressure was good. Sky Ranch Lodge has one of the best views of the sunset in Sedona!! While the Lodge is an older establishment, they have made great efforts to keep it updated. It is very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly! I would definately stay here again and I highly recommend Sky Ranch Lodge!

We got a room "with a view". Unfortunately, the only window in the room was on the opposite side. The property boastsone of the nicest lookout points in town and it is spectacular. However the rooms are very dated & trapped in the 70's. On the surface ours seemed clean. Then I saw old, dirty tissue s behind the bed. We saw the view of the Red Rock from our room and thought it was great. However, then we started noticing that the amenities and comforts could use some work. The room was dated, the spa tub was weak, the grounds were plain and the laundry facility left a lot to be desired (broken dryer and no coin machine). The location is about 50 yards from a look out spot tourists go to constantly all day long. Service is great, views are amazing and the room was perfect. We had one with a fireplace as we went in December, and it was great. You won't find a hotel with a better view of Sedona ! I would stay at SRL again (for the right price, of course) and recommend it to others. Located on a hill 500 feet above Sedona and right next to the Airport... Planes were not bothersome while at hotel though, which is nice considering how close you are to it... We have stayed at the Sky Ranch Lodge for years, and would not even seriously consider staying elsewhere in the area. The location is perfect - away from the crowds, with excellent views. I left something in the room, and the staff were very accomodating about mailing it back to me when I contacted them by phone. We stayed over Christmas, and had a […] fireplace (gas) in our room. First, the view from almost anywhere on the hotel grounds is superb. It is located on the mesa which is shared by the Sedona airport. Anytime of day or night, the view is fantastic. The hotel is in a really great location. An older hotel but it is kept up. Plumbing is older so you can hear the neighbor. Pretty clean but I have a thing about left over hair in the bathroom from the previous patron. The views are great & overall not bad

Hotel is old and outdated but clean. The bed was very comfortable. Front desk staff provided good customer service. Big negative about the property is how thin the walls are. We had to go outside and ask our next-door neighbors to keep it down as we could hear practically everything.

Basic room but it included a microwave and a refrigerator. Plastic utensils where available in the front desk when we wanted to buy some food in the supermarket and eat at the room. The landscaping was nice. Front desk person was not rude but a little bit too "no nonsense" which is not good customer service. The hotel is an older build. The staff is courteous and very helpful. It's close to everything and the views are gorgeous. We had an upgraded room with its own fireplace, that was a nice feature. Great rates and fabulous views. Felt secluded on top of the mountain. Basic, yet clean amenities. We were there to see Sedona, not the inside of the room.
