The motel staff were very accommodating when we arrived early for check-in, and that was much appreciated. We were coming from the beach, and were on our way to a party, and needed to get into a room to shower, which they let us do, although beds hadn't been made, etc. That being said, the condition of the room was poor to moderate, outdated, and "seedy" […] feeling. The room was very, very small. And when we returned from our party that evening and went to put our kids into bed, we found there were no blankets (only sheets and an unwashed bedspread- we know it was unwashed because it was on the floor when we used the room for showers earlier in the day)... Upon asking for blankets, we were told by the office that they don't have blankets at their motel. That was the last straw- we chose to put the kids in the car and drive the three hours home that night rather than staying another minute. If your standards are very, very low, or price is your greatest concern, you'll probably be able to endure it. Otherwise, keep looking for other options. Read more

Barely got any sleep here. Plastic chairs left around the motel enticed other guests to take their parties outside, one of which woke me up at 3 a.m. I called the police, the party got shut down, and I left the motel with little rest. Plus, the maid doesn't replace used towels, so just take note.

One of the worst I have ever stayed in this country. The hotel's description on hotels.com says it has microwave, telephone, alarm clock and what not.. Nothing is seen in the rooms. Also, this is the first time Im seeing a hotel room that has Air Conditioning unit kept inside the toilet room. Worst! I stayed for 2 nights, and for the 2nd day of the […] stay they didnt even change the bath towels. When I asked, they were very thankful to provide 2 new towels, but the worst thing is that those bath towels are torn in the middle, and the other one was with all dirt!! The room and bathroom were on the small side (but looking back, accurately depicted on the website) but clean and comfortable. We arrived at the motel hours after check-in ended but the manager, Christine, waited up for us and was very friendly despite our late arrival. We didn't spend much time in Dennis Port itself but found the access and drive to […] either end of the Cape (Provincetown, Falmouth) reasonable from the motel and are very happy with this location. No breakfast here (no restaurant on-site but there is complimentary coffee in the morning) but we received coupons to a diner three doors down serving breakfast. We arrived with low expectations and the manager was sweet funny and helpful and gave us ice and 2 towels. The cable worked to our surprise and we even had a toilet holder in the bathroom. Nice staff, nice pool. No toilet paper holder, roll on tank. No cups, shampoo in bathroom. A.C worked well but was in bathroom window. Close the bathroom door, no A.C. Morning coffee was swill with Cremora. We were there one night to hit the beach and bars-perfect for that as we were in the room 5 hours. With a bit more work this place could be OK.

Lots of problems - only one light in room (no reading lights), no clock radio, no refrigerator, no cable tv, no remote, no toilet paper holder, '50s era furniture too large for room - could only get in bed from one side, holes in wall, no breakfast (just coffee), no blanket, no chain on door, etc.

The room was a dump. No shelves or vanity in bathroom, towel rack and mirror just perched across from sink. Loose cable wire running across the floor. Split seams along the sheetrock, bad caulking jon throughout. But I must say, the bed was comfortable. Still wouldn't stay any longer than the 2 nights I booked.

Perfect for a last minute escape to the cape...great staff and short money. Although the hotel is dated, it was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Only complaint was no hairdryer or remote control for TV.

Horrific. The shower nor faucet water worked properly during the stay. Luckily it was just a place to sleep since family was down the street but my wife couldn't even do that as she never felt comfortable in the room. Stayed in two different rooms. Beds were really comfortable to sleep on, a definite plus. Bathroom was small and bathtub neeed to be replaced but all was kept clean. Wifi did not reach our room but was available in the office. Staff was most accommodating. Old analog tvs. Air conditioning worked well.

The Jonathan Edwards Motel misrepresented itself on hotels.com. After we saw what they actually have to offer we left without even staying the night! Half of the photos on their hotels.com listing have nothing to do with the actual motel. On hotels.com, they list themselves as a 3-star motel but they barely meet the requirements for one star. On hotels.com […] they advertise a restaurant in the motel, a mini bar, hair dryers, and irons/ironing boards in the room - none of which actually existed at the Jonathan Edwards Motel! In fact, when we arrived at 4pm the room did not have a shower curtain, toilet paper, lightbulbs, or a mirror in the bathroom! And worse, the paint was peeling off the walls, the sheets were stained, and there was no bolt or chain lock on the door to the outside. They claimed to be a smoke-free property but our room reeked of stale smoke. This hotel was involved in severe misrepresentation. When we tried to speak to the manager of Jonathan Edwards Motel we were further misled and we have not yet been able to get a refund. Don't let this happen to you! Read more

I got this room last minute at half price, and I still feel over-charged. The manager Christina explained to me upon arrival that I was getting the last King room and that it was not finished; She was very upfront and apologetic about it but that doesn't change the fact. If your rooms are not fit for guests, then you should not let guests stay in them! Unfinished […] bathroom aside, The room was pretty dirty. There was quite a bit of dust in all the corners, and while searching for my car key that fell on the floor, I found somebody's left over crackers underneath one of the chairs! A whole box! There was free Wi-Fi as advertised, but we had to stand outside of the room to get the connection. There was no remote for the television at all, and I never bothered turning it on. There was no trash can in the room and no telephone. We did check out about an hour and a half after the posted time, (the bed was VERY comfortable!) and were not charged and Christina made it seem like it was no big deal at all, which was very nice. I only had a chance to peek at the pool and not swim, but from what I saw, it looked beautiful and refreshing. I didn't think it was a bad place to stay but I do think that the price is too high, and there are amenities advertised that are not provided. Read more

This place was very,very,very, very basic. There was no cable only about 9 local channels and a crappy tube type television, no table, clock or microwave.
