"Great hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This hotel was perfect for us. We were a group of 3 each had our own beds. It was very clean and comfortable, had free wifi, and provided good breakfast. The location was awesome right in the middle of old town and new town close to all the sights and tons of shopping. The people at the front desk were also very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
"Beautiful way to experience Prague"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
It was perfect. Service impeccable...Staff very friendly and accomodating .Hotel location nice and quiet after hustle of Old Town over the Charles Bridge. Our room opening onto the garden courtyard was wonderful. Breakfast out doors daily equipped with a mother duck sitting on 12 eggs, and the ducklings making their appearence before our departure. The whole trip was a ten!
"Convenient and comfortable"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
We found the staff very accommodating and helpful. They had transportation tickets we could purchase for varying time periods. They arranged for a taxi to the the airport when we departed. The breakfasts were very adequate with a large variety of items to choose from. We loved the uniqueness of our room. All facilities (bathroom, TV, elevators) worked very well.

The heart of the city, Stare Mesto's historic buildings are splendidly preserved. The focal point is the cobbled main square, on which stand the Jan Hus Monument, the Old Town Hall and its astronomical clock, and the Gothic spires of Our Lady of Tyn. Linking the Old Town with Mala Strana is the Charles Bridge with its gallery of saintly statues.

"Hotel Kings Court in Prague - easy location"
Very pleased with this hotel. Great location. Very comfortable and clean rooms and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Parking was a bit high, but the charge was per night rather than for 24 hour period - so it all worked out fine. Would definitely stay here again!

"Hotel Kings Court in Prague, Czech Republic"
I booked this hotel sight unseen on hotels.com based on guest ratings and was not disappointed. Location, size of room, helpfulness of staff, cleanliness, variety at breakfast buffet, etc. were fabulous. My flight was delayed 3 hours and when I called the hotel after arriving at the airport at midnight with no cabs around, they called a cab and had […] the cab come to the airport to pick me up. We missed each other, but the thoughtfulness counts! Read more
"Earns it's star rating"
Searching the options in Prague I felt they just abused of the whole star rating system out there. I was pleased to find Hotel Kings Court as a true luxury property. Being from Las Vegas I've become accustomed to disapointment with the level of hospitality wherever I travel to. While we still we're met with cold shoulders at some Prague resturants and […] pubs we found safe haven at the hotel. The staff was white glove trained all around and the breakfast was phenomenal. Only issue I could think of is that the AC in the room didn't have the same icing the room over ability I'm spoiled with. I didn't ask the front desk for a fan, but I'm sure if I did they would have probalby found a way to make it happen. Read more
"Good but could be better"
Day 1: We were met at the airport late at night by the hotel's limo driver and were driven to the hotel in a nice E-class Merc. However, that's all that was good on that first night. We were shown to our room (211) - I had booked an Executive Room with a view of the Republic Square in front of the hotel. Our room did not overlook the Square, but overlooked […] the side street, it was so small that only 1 bedside table could fit next to the bed, there was no Espresso machine (apparently in all Exec Rooms) and there were no L'occitane toiletries (supposed to be in all Executive rooms). When I called to complain, they said that the hotel was full and that my request would be considered the next day but insisted that I was lodged (with my wife and infant) in an "Executive" room. Furthermore, we were quite tired and hungry, so we chose to stay at the hotel (it was past 11 pm) and order room service. The room service menu is very limited after 10:30 pm or so, and at the first try, the lady said she'd call back in a minute and didn't; I waited for about 10 mins and called back - there was no answer, so called Reception and they said my food order should take about 10 mins; after 30 mins with no food order I called back and they told me it would take another 20 mins - by the time we got our food it was 1 hour after I had ordered it (we were famished by then) but they did make it complimentary! The next day we insisted on the room change - they asked us the reason why - and I did give it to them and eventually we did seem to get the Executive Room as it had the right gadgets and toiletries and overlooked the Square - which reinforced my belief that they did not give us an Exec room the first night even though we paid for it. The rest of the stay was better but I will say that the Housekeeping Department in this hotel is not of 5 star standard - there were 3 of us in our room but they only stocked the bathroom with 2 bath towels; whenever you call that department, they never an Read more

"Great hotel great location"
Everything about this hotel was top notch, from the staff to the neighborhood to the room. We loved it. You are very close to all the main sites and can walk everywhere easily. It's about 5 minutes to the main square and about 15 minutes to the castle. A great hotel if you want to be in the heart of the city!
"simply outstanding"
Fantastic hotel, We stayed at the hotel for 18 days and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel was close to everything including a mall with lots of restraurants and a supermarket. It was also only a 10 minute walk to the city center. The front desk staff were excellent and gave us very helpful tips and suggestions. The room was large and […] the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very large and very nice. The room was always well cleaned each day. We would stay in the hotel again in a heartbeat. Read more
"Great location....helpful staff !"
Concierges helpful on a number of occasions. Staff very helpful. Excellent location. Only real issue is a design issue...the door to the bathroom is frosted glass and the only light in the bathroom would light up Shea Stadium...so when one of you gets up in the middle of the might to use the bathroom.....bam !...bedroom lights up like a Christmas tree. […] If you're a light sleeper like me, that's a problem (wore my airplane eye mask as a solution). Always bewildered why a hotel designer could make such a basic mistake. Read more
"Best hotel in our 2 weeks in europe"
Rooms small compared to US, but best beds and excellent location. People were friendly and place has a nice feel to it.
"I recommend it."
The Kings Court Hotel in Prague located in a walking distance to all Prague's see-sights. Good breakfest, great and helpful staff.

Got us i phone converters etc, whatever we needed or asked for.Hotel spotless, breakfast delux, with great variety. Bedsand bedding most comfortable, as were the rooms. "Excellent staff and wonderful location!!"
This is an excellent hotel at a very fantastic location. The Spa is wonderful, worth every penny!! The restaurant has an AWESOME breakfast and the dinner option is just as fabulous!!
"Clean, good service, great location"
The location of the hotel makes it extremely convenient to go anywhere in Prague. The metro station is right in front of the hotel, and the tram stop is just across the street. A 3-minute walk from Old Town Square, but not too close so you could get some peace and quiet at night. Taking the CEDAZ van from the airport to Marriott and then walking for […] 2 mins to the hotel is probably the easiest way to get there (CZK120/person), but if you prefer more adventurous and budget-friendly transportation, then you can easily take BUS 100 to the Metro B line (I think it's Zlicin station), and then take the Metro to Namesti Republiky. Take the exit toward Palladium shopping mall, and you'll see the hotel right across the street. All you'll need is a CZK26 75-minute transfer ticket that is valid for both the bus and the metro. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and all of them spoke good English. The housekeeping staff didn't speak much English, but they understood what we asked for. It was our first time in Prague so I don't know what is considered a good size for a hotel room in the city, but our room was spacious even with a king size bed in the middle. Everything was clean and new. The only things missing in the room are bathrobes, slippers, a notepad and a pen. Nothing too important, but we expected these from a 5-star hotel. Our package included daily breakfast buffet which offered a wide variety of hot and cold food. We stayed there for 3 nights, and the breakfast was exactly the same everyday. It would be nice to have some change in the menu, but it didn't really bother us. Highly recommended. Read more
"Prague hotel Kings Court"
What a great hotel! Perfect location, great rooms with amenities. I was so surpirised how wonderful the hotel is. The breakfast was delicious and more than you could ever eat. Good food, nice restaurant Overall- a great experience.
"Great Hotel"
The Hotel was great. When we first arrived, we thought the hotel was on the fringe of downtown Prague, but we soon realized it was a 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge, some great shopping and a few other tourist locations, oh and restaurants and bars too. We received great recommendations for restaurants and easy directions to find all the great […] sites. We've been doing a great deal of traveling throughout Europe and this hotel has the best inclusive breakfast thus far. It was pretty amazing. Although we didn't use the hotel bar, there is one available. And the beds were comfortable unlike most of the european beds we've come accustomed to, very comfy indeed! Read more

"Excellent hotel in superb location"
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here in October 2010. It was the perfect place for our week in Prague. The hotel was excellent and the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. We upgraded to an executive room, which was perfect. Nice and large with a lovely bathroom with seperate bath and shower. Also this gave us access to the executive […] lounge, with complimentary snacks and drinks, which was a nice unexpected bonus. Whilst we were there it was my wifes birthday so she put up her cards which she had taken to open. When we got back to the room there was a 1/2 bottle of champaigne compliments of the hotel. A realy lovely touch. The only criticism I would have is the spa. The "swimming pool" is no more than a plunge pool and the pictures on the web site have a lot of artistic licence. We had free access to the spa with the room upgrade but it would not be worth the 10euro per day fee the hotel charged. However it was still a nice way to relax after a full days walking & sight seeing. Overall, this is a lovely hotel in a superb location just 5 minutes from the old town square. As for Prague, I'd been before with an all male group so I saw a different side to it this time and loved it. We always use the Frommers "Day by Day" guide books for our city breaks and did all of the walks in the book. An excellent way to see the city and sights that you may miss. We loved the lesser town and the Castle district and disovering the hidden gardens on that side of the river. Also finding a few hidden Czech bars as well. We also did one of the tours in the back of a vintage car - a 1929 Ford model A, which I would recommend. Although make sure you go to the toilet before hand - an old car with poor suspension driving on cobble streets could have you crossing your legs and biting your lip all the way round. All in all I would recommend the beatiful city of Prague and the excellent Hotel Kings Court to anyone. Read more
"Wonderful hotel perfectly located"
The Hotel Kings Court was an amazing hotel to stay in. The Junior Executive Suite room HUGE by European standards. The Executive breakfast buffet was very tasty with made to order omlettes, fresh breads, cheeses, standard hot items like eggs/bacon/sausage, cereal and made to order coffee/espresso. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entrance […] to the metro was literally right outside the front door of the building. This made getting to and from the hotel a breeze. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the historic Old Town Square and about another 10 minutes to the Prague Castle area (if you walk). Or you can hop on the metro and be there 5 minutes faster. I spent most of my time with business and seeing the city so I never even got a chance to try out the hotel spa facilities. Be aware that the super touristy areas like Old Town Square and Wenceslas square are filled with restaurants that are overpriced and the food is admittedly substandard. The best advice we were given was that if the cost of a half litre (0.5 l) of beer is more than 45 Czech Crowns, keep on walking past the restaurant (unless it's a gourmet establishement). Great location, great hotel! Read more

This hotel was great, centric, friendly staff, new and remodeled, the breakfast is wonderful, the service is great.
"NICE HOTEL, GOOD LOCATION"
NICE HOTEL, RECENTLY REFURBISHED, WOULD NOT GIVE IT 5 * AS ADVERTISED BUT A GOOD 4* WE PAID EXTRA FOR A ROOM ON THE EXECUTIVE FLOOR WITH EXECUTIVE LOUNGE PRIVLEGES - THIS SHOULD INCLUDE A BREAKFAST SERVICE IN THE LOUNGE AND A GREATER RANGE OF SNACKS AND DRINKS AT OTHER TIMES - IT WAS NOT STAFFED, NOT TO STANDARD AND VALUE ADDED NOTHING. ACCESS BY CAR […] CAN BE DIFFICULT BUT THE HOTEL VALET SERVICE WORKS WELL IF THEY ARE EXPECTING YOU TO ARRIVE BY CAR. Read more

"Hotel Kings Court in Prague"
From check-in to check-out this hotel was fabulous! We were greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff who were able to answer all of our questions and provide us with information on all types of activities available in the area. The location of the hotel was convenient to pick up the tour vans, take public transportation and walk to many sites. The hotel […] was state of the art in every aspect. The breakfasts each morning were amazing..far better than others we encountered on our trip. We would definitely stay at this hotel if our plans ever brought us back to Prague. Read more
"Kings Court - Prague - close to the sights"
Our group was at Kings Court and the special meals set up for our large group were amazing. Great food, great service. The rooms were wonderful. The location is close to everything. There is a tram stop and subway system right outside the hotel. Very convenient. The surrounding neighborhood is safe, beautiful and filled with great sights.
"Pure class"
the hotel had everything covered one could think of. From the bag checking to the bellhop to the spa and pool. It was a great way to wind down my trip after multiple nights in multiple hotels, this was the best of them all, service and presentation abound
"Don't Miss this Hotel if in Prague"
Excellent new boutique hotel with an amazing breakfast buffet. It has the most comfortable beds of any hotel I have stayed in Europe.
A good hotel. A little expensive.
"Hotel Kings Court"
The hotel was not as advertised. The first room we were given was a dormer room and it did not have shades or window coverings. The replacement room originally offered overlooked the alley and garbage bins. The water went out in the hotel for 5 hours one evening so you could not use the showers, sinks or toilets.
"Awesome location and staff"
Great location, great staff, everyone knows English which helped!
"Excelent hotel in excelent location!"
This is one of the best hotel that I stayed while traveling in Europe. Very clean, excellent size rooms, perfect location. Love this place!
A great weekend at Hotel Kings Courte, in the middle of April 2012, great English speaking staff, excellent breakfast and a very good restaurant as well, perfectly suited 4 meters!! from the station Namest Republiky entrance to the very convenient Prague Subway which took you about everywhere in the city for a fee of 310 Ckr ( about 12,5 EURO) for a […] 72 hours ticket valid in whole of Prague, even took me back to the airport.. The Hotel is sited in the very center of Prague with convenient walking distance to Stare Mesto, the “Old Prague” with the usually tourist shops but also beautiful buildings and streets.
