The Westin Poinsett is right downtown, an easy walk to just about anywhere one wants to go downtown. There are many places to eat nearby as well as in the hotel, and it is both safe and interesting to walk the main streets. The exercise room is large and well-equipped. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a bathroom counter top that is right for a short grandmother like me.

The staff were awesome. When I checked in, I found dried soap and hair in the tub. The rest if the room was spotless. The front desk clerk left her post, came to the room and cleaned the entire bathroom. AWESOME SERVICE! Definitely would reccomend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel after a Clemson football game. It was a perfect hotel for that. Only 30 minutes from Clemson. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and breakfast was nice.

Great hotel! I enjoyed the front desk staff, the breakfast was decent and the cleanliness and efficiency of the room services was wonderful!!!! The location is phenomenal--close enough to shopping, restaurants and nearby attractions, yet a little secluded enough to enjoy a quiet moment after trakking about all day! I would definitely go back.

We were stopping for the night halfway between our long-distance destination, so it was very late when we got there, but we were greeted with a smile from a friendly staff member, and our room key. Only complaint: the shower was clogged and filled up with water when we were showering..not very pleasant standing in dirty water when trying to get clean after driving/raveling all day. Great staff, excellent breakfast even on a busy morning like homecoming for a clemson game. Confused by air conditioning system....woke up hot many times because of the motion sensors/ac fan system. Wished I could have just had the fan to stay on to have some white noise during the night.
