I had a great experience at Quinta das Videiras in Florianopolis. It is a rather small hotel with a real old school luxury feel, but the experience is excellent. Some notes: - the bed was very comfortable. It felt like a very new, high quality mattress with very fine sheets. - the bathroom was immaculate. The shower was very spacious and it was clean, […] almost like new. Nothing in the hotel feels cheap or plastic-y - it is extremely well kept. - the staff goes out of their way to be hospitable to the guests. They greeted me by name when I first arrived and each time I passed through the lobby area. Moreover, once I had a problem because my bank cancelled my debit card on me. The bank had given me some numbers to call internationally, but reaching them proved to be extremely difficult. The staff at reception really went out of their way to help me resolve the issue, spending about half an hour making international telephone calls with me until everything worked out. - the hotel has a very nice feel to it - the furniture and the rooms have the atmosphere (in an artistic sense) of antiques, but modern amenities like a tv, clean showers, a nice bed, and a room safe fit in nicely. We highly recommend Hotel Butique Quinta das Videiras. The service was absolutely top-rate. The breakfasts were fabulous with many choices such as fresh fruit, delicious fresh pasteries, cereals, oatmeal, eggs and very good coffee, all served on lovely china in your choice of locations -- garden, conservatory, or your own room -- by lovely maids wearing […] black dresses and white aprons and caps. So lovely. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, catering to our every need. The hotel is very well located in the small town of Lagoa de Conciecao -- a safe, charming neighborhood beside the lovely Lagoon. Our room was beautiful and so very comfortable. We plan to return again very soon and stay longer next time. You won't be disappointed with a stay at Hotel Butique Quinta das Vidieras, or with a vacation in beautiful Floripa. Read more

Hotel Butique Quinta das Videiras is a perfect example of "home away from home". Situated on a quiet street it is an oasis of tranquility, hospitality and coziness.
