The hotel was very nice. It had an excellent upscale appearance and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. It is an excellent location for anyone coming or going that enjoys a stay close to the airport. It is right next door. It is a bit of a drive if you are considering it for a visit to the UofM facility in Ann Arbor. I was extremely impressed with the fact that this facility did not jack their rates up for the graduation weekend like all the other facilities. Typically the rates tripled across the board however, I got a rate lower than most places when nothing is going on. The hotel was extremely clean, well kept and offered a wonderful restaurant right in the lobby.

We stayed there for New Years Eve and for the price and location, it was perfect. We needed to take a cab to the clubs, but the front desk was very nice and helpful and gave us cab numbers and recommended when to call. "The Town and Country Motel-Avoid like the plague!"
Being the proud owner of 2 wonderful cats, the necessity of moving them across the country meant, unfortunately, staying at hotels. When I can across a "good deal" in my new town of Windsor, I signed right up! Here's why this one one of the worst experiences of my life... -there was no COLD water....seems silly, but you try taking a scalding hot shower […] in 35degree weather. -the sheets were stained -being a pet owner, I was forced into a DISGUSTING smokers room, that smelled only recently vacated of its previous smoking resident -the air condition did a pitiful job, and was shoved into a corner, certainly not helping with the air circulation -the room was, overall, just dirty! There were enormous dust bunnies under the bed, and the shower was caked in mildew -I was awoken at 9am to the sounds of a power saw... very nice -the management was extremely unreceptive to any sort of complaints, or giving me any sort of compensation...and just blatantly rude! The rooms were never clean and housekeeping lies about having cleaned them. Cups were unwrapped and laying around the room as if the people before me had literally just left. Dirty cups around the roomas well as dirty sheets is more than just an oversight on housekeeping, it is an indicator that the room was never cleaned. I stayed two nights and on […] the second night the housekeeping staff never even came to the room yet claimed they did to the manager who had to bring me new towels seeing as they only provide you with the bare miminimum. I stayed at this room for 4 nights and would rather sleep in my car then return. The hotel was gross in the first room we were in the sheets were nasty and had not been changed, there were crumbs in the bed. In the morning the room service brought us towels that were fresh out of the washer machine and completely wet. When I told her they were wet her […] response was that "was how all of the towels were." It doesn't take rocket science to figure out that if all of the towels were still wet that maybe they needed to go back to the dryer and be distributed later. I asked her to go back and please find some dry towels and she said she would try to find some but never returned. A hotel should not be that hard up for fresh dry towels. We ended up switching rooms and the second room was also dirty, the sheets had stains all on them and had not been changed. I called the manager who personally came to change the sheets. I also asked him to bring some towels...again they were wet! The new sheets that he put on the bed also had stains on them!!! There was a big grease stain in the middle of the sheet. To top it all off the wet towels he brought were dirty!! They had dirt smudges on them and all types of stains not to mention they had no scent of laundry detergent. I dried off with one towel b4 realizing how dirty it was and immediately had to take another shower because of how nasty it was. I think they just wash their towels and sheets in pure water.The worst day was my third day at the hotel when room service never came and we had no towels and the trash was full to the brim. I called the front desk to inquire about the service and why housekeeping never came, the manager informed me that according to their list housekeeping did come to the room and cleaned up and had checked the room off the list!! The shower was disgusting.Looked like the shower was not cleaned in months. One light in the room. T.V. had lots of channels though. Many cases of beer bottles and liquor bottles near the over flowing garbage near our door. Seems to be a party central Hotel. Could not get on the top floor not cleaned I guess. "Towne and Country"
We were looking for a simple room to stay for a night. Nothing to write home about. Alarm clock didn't work right but the room was ok. The pool wasn't open on June 4 either. But location was very convenient to restaurants, shopping and the entire city.

This hotel is fine if you just need a bed for the night. We had an issue with the lock on the room and we were given another room immediately. It was a good experience and the owners were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

IT WOULD HAVE GOT A BETTER RATING IF I COULD HAVE LOCKED THE DOOR. COULDN;T LOCK IT FROM THE INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. COULDN'T GET THE PHONE TO WORK. OTHER THAN THAT FRIDGE, MICROWAVE, TV, BED, COMFORTABLE AND ALL WORKED

"very economical"
The motel was very easy to get to and the staff were very helpfull. The shower was a bit old and water pressure was low but would stay there again. Hopfully the restuarant will have its renovations done by then. . HGave no problem in recommending this place to others that want a cheap place to stay

"T&C Windsor - excellent value"
Great stay. Quick one-nighter for business, perfect for that. Cheap, clean, convenient, family-run (in a good way). The pool looked a bit dirty, but that wasn't a concern to me. Everything else was great!

I stayed at Towne and Country Motel for one night on July 16, 2011. I did not have great expectations from this hotel - I simply chose the cheapest hotel that was available in Windsor that night. Well, this motel exceeded my expectations regarding the quality of customer service, cleanliness of the room and facilities (water in the pool actually was […] crystal clean even though people were using the pool most of the day) and comfort. The bed was very comfortable and there was a microwave in the room which was extremely important to me because I could easily make me a cup of tea or coffee and heat up a ready made meal. The manager of the hotel was very nice - when I was very late to leave my room for checkout (I set the clock time 3 hours late...) she gently knocked on my door and politely asked me if I am leaving soon. She generously gave me extra time to get my organized and finish what I was doing before I checked out of the hotel. Overall, I rate this hotel as a 5 star hotel according to my ratings and experience. Read more

The staff was very nice. The air conditioner worked. That's the only good thing about this place. The bathtub and shower curtains were filthy. There were no outlets in the bath area so the hair dryer promised could not have been there. When I moved the bedside table to plug in the lamp and clock, I realized the plugs were unsafe! Needless to say I did […] without them. The bedspreads smelled and were obviously dirty. There was duct tape around the entry door and the lock only worked when you slammed the door. The dead bolt inside didn't work at all. The toilet was not attached to the floor, and rocked in a most alarming fashion. The pool was open but was not cleaned while I was there. It had a lot of debris in it. In conclusion, I only stayed there because it was non-refundable. Next time I'll stay at the Travelodge. This motel was very quiet and clean. The staff were overly courteous. The dining room was under renovation and the pool hours were restrictive considering the check out times. The staff was very friendly. My guest and I forgot toothpaste and needed some additional towels and we had them within 5 minutes of asking. The facility was very nice and I would definitely stay there again.

The fixtures and fittings in the room might be a bit on the battered side, but the beds are clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. This was not what we expected at all. That room was comfortable but it was not very clean. We found paper on the floor and looked like it wasn't vaccumed in quite some time. The fridge was full of built up ice and didn't seal too good, the tv was very small. The room was clean and well maintained. It contained a microwave and small fridge, t.v. and a double bed. The staff was courteous. It was a great value for the money. It has a restaurant attached to the motel. I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was.
