they were remodeling & didn't have a notice on their website. Very steep steps up to lobby. Concierge was somewhat helpful. Other guests were more helpful. Very clean & compact. Bed was in corner with 3 feet between bed & wall on 2 sides. Glass wall to bathroom. Shower stall 4' x 5', just enough room for elbows when washing hair.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was under renovation. The front desk was more unfriendly. Had to drag the luggage up from the basement entrance to the hotel, without any assistance from hotel staff even though the hotel caused the inconvience of the customer to walk down one level only to drag the suitcase's back up yuo the main. At any rate the in your face, your problem […] attitude says I"ll stay elsewhere next time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I had very wonderful time in HONG KONG, The hotel is in downtown area, it is very easy to get around , like shopping area, restaurant, buses, ferry port, metro system etc. This is my first time to visit HONG KONG, i will go back again sometime.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
If you need a convient short stay this place is great. But bring ear plugs as the walls are very thin and your hear everything from the rooms next to you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location, Impressed Overall"
Yes, the rooms are mini-sized, and the bathroom is transparent. But my wife and I were able to stay in a room with minimal frustration. Comfortable and clean. Stayed two nights in May 2013. Location in Central is good, but so many stairs to climb! Good exercise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Read reviews..most are accurate"
The room was VERY VERY MINI.....No kidding, however for the cost, you may want to give up comfort...|Or upgrade to a bigger room if available. Staff was friendly....location great for the night life...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Bit Off the Beaten Track but Nice"
This hotel lives up to its name. It IS mini. The rooms are quite small, but they have everything we needed. The hotel is also a bit off the beaten track. If you book, be sure to ask at the desk for a map. There are stairs to a street below nearby that we didn't find until our second day, and you can use the escalators and elevated walkway to make quite […] a dent in your walk up to the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, storing our bags twice while we made the most of our Hong Kong stay before and after check-in/out. The worst part was getting to the hotel in the monsoon-like rain, but that would have been true of any hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great, can't complain....location, location, room are small, (mini) hence the name, but remember location, GREAT! price.....goodGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel conveniently located to SOHO"
I was assigned room 201, an inside room on the second floor, virtually no window because it is about 1 metre from the building next door. I was told that was what my booking paid for. My experience would have been much better if the room just across from the hall was assigned to me, about the same size (might even be slightly smaller because of the […] pillar near the entrance to the room) but has window looking out. Room cleaning was strictly according to their priority, regardless whether the sign "Please make up room" was hanged outside the room. They said the room will be cleaned every day so I gave up hanging the sign outside. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location but room too small"
Good location an inexpensive. Good for one or two night for one person only. No privacy for 2 people. bathroom walls and door made of glass, you can see the person that is taking the shower a=or using the toilet. Space very limited, no space for luggage or move around the room.Genuine Expedia guest review
Mini Hotel Central is in a great location and for the price it can't be beat. I had a single hotel room which was quite small. Comfortable bed, bathroom, shower, and flat screen tv. Room needs to have mini fridge in it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very small but clean room!"
The rooms are very small and appropriate for one person or two people who don't mind bumping into each other regularly ;)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very cozy and intimate"
"mini" says it all. Room is very small. There is barely enough room to walk around the bed. The bathroom sink is also too small. Free shower show to anyone who walks in the room. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a glass wall. Make sure you're comfortable using the toilet when sharing the room with your companion.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, but the room is too tiny"
The room is really tiny, it is suitable for tourists who just want to take shower, sleep, wake up and leave, but not those who want to relax and enjoy staying in their room. Cleanliness of the room is ok, but some towels have fading dirt marks and I requested for changes. First couple of days, bath towels were not provided. The television singals are […] cut off sometimes and back in couple of seconds to minutes or so. The hotel is in great location and close to all. Lai Kwai Fong (the night life district) is only a block away. Subway station (MTR) is few minutes away. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location for one night"
Clean, very good location, but the room too small, there is no,place for your luggage or anything and the bathroom door is a glass door, no privacy!!! Only good for one person.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel's location is perfect. You can walk to the Peak Tram or even to Star Ferry. Our room was really very, very tiny, but very clean. The staff was extremly friendly. If you are looking for a buget hotel in a great, central location, Mini Hotel would be a great choice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You pay what you get...."
Very tiny room, but that is what you paid for.... Only needed the room to sleep over as I am out during most of the day, so luxury comfort was not my primary concern.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect for one or two people"
The rooms are small but the location was perfect for trips into central. Close to hong kong and central mtr stops as wellGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Location in HK - I will stay again"
My 2nd stay in 3 months. No beating around the bush, Mini Hotel is a no frills, no amenities hotel (there isn't even a fridge). However, in my opinion it is the best place to stay in HK bc of the central location. 2 min walk from Starbucks just down the hill, within 10 min walk to nearly everywhere you need to go, IFC Mall, Central Station, Pacific […] Place Mall, LKF, Peak Tram, etc etc. I find the MRT easy to use, and will learn how to use Trams next, but taxis can be hit and miss during busy times/shift changes. Thus, I try to take taxis out of the equation as much as possible. If you need a taxi, I have been able to flag one quite easily outside the hotel on Ice House Street. But understand that the Mini Hotel is best for traveling alone, as the room can be claustrophobic even with one guest. Wifi connection is steady and strong in all the rooms. "could have been enough"
Well when we arrived they didn't have my booked category (the 9sqm room), instead I got a room with approx 5sqm which just wasn't enough. They would have given me a bigger room the second night, but I decided to check out. The 9sqm room, if you get one with the full 9 sqm is big enough and a bargain for Central Hong Kong...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Tiny Room hotel close to nightlife"
Hotel is clean; however, rooms are very small. Hotel's main strength is its great location, close to the nightlife neighborhoodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not What Advertized"
The sq-ft includes the bathroom which leave the bedroom area to be very small. My dad could touch both sides of the room when he stretched his arms out, the room was very tiny. There was no desk or Window in the room either.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great locationm but as expected the rooms are tiny"
The name Mini Hotel gives it away that the rooms are tiny. The bed took up most of the room but that was expected. Besides that, the room had all the neccesities, including a safe. Plenty of hot water was available for the shower and the air conditioning worked fine. The hotel contains a nice lounge on the ground floor. And the location is one of […] the best in Hong Kong if you're looking for nightlife. It's just a block away from the Lan Kuai Fang nightlife district. The downside is that it can get a bit noisy outside in the late hours of Friday and Saturday. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Considering you only sleep in the hotel while traveling, if this is the kind of traveler you are... this hotel is great, clean and has a great location close to Central station so you can access other parts of town and the airport avoiding traffic. "Small as a large closet but just what you need"
The location is stumbling distance from Long Kwai fong, 5 minute walk to the subway station, and has great places to eat nearby. Room: small as a closet. Bathroom so small the sink is in the shower and the glass is clear. So the room is really meant for 1 person or married couples who are use to peeling on front of each other. They do have a hair […] dryer and provide a shampoo dispenser. Conceiger speaks great English and wifi very strong everywhere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A fine place to crash for a night"
Minuscule but modern and well thought out room, as expected for a budget price in Central HK. All I needed, but wouldn't want to spend more time in the room than necessary.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Tiny but great"
Hong Kong hotels are expensive. This one was inexpensive and in a great location on a small interesting busy street (good for hailing a cab). The space is extremely small, but just fine for sleeping. The decor is smart and trendy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not for anyone"
It provided very poor service; everything you may need is in machine. Sometime towel is not replaced. What else can I say the hotel is cheapt.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, beautiful view!"
The Mini Hotel is a great hotel for couples traveling in Hong Kong. We enjoyed the area a lot and the western vibe the Central district has. It was nice to be close to expat laden bars and restaurants with the opportunity to also experience authentic food and stores. Be warned, the room is tiny, like really tiny and the bathroom is completely visible […] from anywhere in the tiny room. Would not be a great place to stay if you didn't feel comfortable going to the bathroom in front of the person you're staying with. Definitely get a city view room - it was well worth it. "Crammed like sardines"
The room is too small. The bed fills most of the room space. The four walls are so close around you, it feels like you are in a hole. No bottle water privided in the room. Also, there is absolutely no privacy in the toilet/ bathroom because it has a glass door. The location is very good, right next to Lan Kwai Fung. Location is very close to the metro line, BUT up a huge hill (like San Francisco hills), I would recommend packing light ot taking a cab from metro to get to hotel, other than that the walk is less than 5 minutes. Ter, front desk lady was the nicest person I came into contact with, speaks and understands english very well. And very helpful too. Rooms […] are very tiny, bed, tv and bathroom with shower all in 1 little walk-in closet size room, but for 1 person more than enough, only thing NO REFRIG or continential breakfast. "Perfect for the price"

"Small but cute"
Clean, cute and modern. Super small room but the cool modern feel makes up for it.Genuine Expedia guest review
as stated room is very small but cozy. my stay was short and I didn t have to spend time in the room. location of the hotel is very nice and close to the main areas. air was very very humid while I was in Hongkong, it is weird but inside of the room has almost same conditions, although I used air conditioner..Genuine Expedia guest review
"Small, but uniting!"
Really mini! Good for solo travelers or couples in honey-candy period of the relations. To make yourself comfortable there - travel light! Location is great.Genuine Expedia guest review
""Mini" hotel - no kidding"
Small space, but my friend tells me that it was a bargain for what you could usually get at that price. Plus, it was very convenient and near Central Station and Lan Kwai Fong. That also made it a little bit loud on the street at times. Then there were also my loud, middle-age neighbors who seemed to think that the hotel was like a dorm and they could […] keep doors open and talk at 1 AM and 7 AM. The room takes some getting used to, but it works if you're not looking at frills. It was a little damp in the room, though...maybe because of the A/C and shower and lack of ventilation? "Great Location (without big suitcase)"
The hotel was in a great location, just 3 minutes walk from the Central subway station. The room was small, but clean. The arrangements in the room were quite impressive. They put a lot of things in that small space! However, if you big luggage, be aware that the walk from the Central station is a steep hill including multiple steps.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, good decor, tiny rooms"
Amazing location, steps from the Central MTK, Landmark, LFK, and Soho. The lobby lounge is really well done and the staff helpful and polite. The hotel is really cheap for Central, and when you see your room you understand why. I think our queen size bed took up 75% or more of the floor space. It's a great place to crash/hang out on the bed for a while, […] but the rooms are seriously small. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

good location but hard to get to and find for new visitors. Terrible service and the first hotel ive been to with no 100~220 volt converter and lotion.I paid extra to have a view with the city but no difference so people dont be fooled by the description. The place has absolutly no view and the place is really small...i mean its so small you can barely […] use the shower. The place is clean but useless since its sooooo small. Super clean, close to the central part of Hong Kong, all kinds of restaurants nearby. Also close to the airport express. Highly recommended. The price is fairly cheapGenuine Expedia guest review
"No frills, but very good value for the location."
Mini Hotel describes this hotel precisely. No frills, no restaurants, no porters, but very good value for the location. We were upgraded, but the room was still very small; only the bathroom was a little bigger than the last time I stayed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hate the window blinds"
Great location. How to beat that when its just besude Lan Kwai Fong. However lotsa steps to get to the hotel so can be difficult for some and especially with heavy luggage. Hotel room is small but it's manageable for a solo traveller with a small luggage. The towels looks clean and white but some have holes and frayed. As long as it's clean towels, […] it's acceptable to me. The room does smell abit but acceptable.overallth room feels clean and neat. The window blinds does not fully closed the window, therefore it feels insecure showering. The noise level is definitely the major negative points for this hotel. You will be woken up by your neighbours opening and closing their doors. However I still recommend travellers this place for the great location. Please do something about the window blinds Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Mini room but very clean and comfortable, for 1 person this hotel is fine. Near to shops, bars, restaurants and local stations to get around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tiny room. Great location."
Very mini room! Even towels were mini (gym towel size). Shower area was so cramp, my shoulders couldn't even fit in. However, location is great! A few minutes walk to mtr station and lan Kai fong.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hard to find, but comfortable enough"
Room was clean, space was very efficiently deployed despite it being a tiny room. View from the toilet was excellent! However, the journey to the hotel was more challenging - up steep slopes of via ~60-steps of stairs. Hotel is simple, no frills but if all I need is a room for the night, it is hence suitable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not the best could be better."
Terrible service, no sign to the hotel which makes it difficult to find specially if your climbing up a long stairway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, tiny room"
Service was good. Excellent location. Room is tiny as the name implied. No amenities, not even a hanger. Only 2 minutes to walk into middle of central and 5 minutes to MTR. If you only need a clean bed to sleep on, this is an excellent choice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rooms are truly Mini!!!!!"
The location of the hotel is excellent and the reception area is light and spacious. The rooms however are truly mini with no facilities to even sit and work on your laptop and you can hear the television and conversation from the rooms next door. It is however very reasonably priced for locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
