The hotel's own website seems to understate its excellent location, as it has an opening into the main street of Sorrento just a short walk from the main square. It is within walking distance of the scenic old mill, the train station, the marina (with its outstanding seafood restaurants) and its stunning views of the bay of Naples and the hillside villas and hotels of Sorrento. The staff was very accommodating to our special needs, allowing us to leave our luggage and to use its restroom facilities even after we had checked out. Also, the price of the rooms was reasonable. Our party did not take the advice of the female night clerk who recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door; instead, we ate at Ristorante Delfino at the marina (which I also highly recommend).

Very happy with Hotel Sorrento City. Staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Room was very comfortable with the only drawback being the TV in the room had only one Engligh speaking channel (MTV...ugh). Excellent location and easy to find right on the main street near the train station. Very good breakfast and free Wi-Fi included which worked very well in the room. Highly recommend Hotel Sorrento City.

We were going back to Charlotte NC. From the moment tbat we steped into the lobby area, We were greeted, taken care of. The hotel management to the person that carried our baggage to our room I felt that I was coming back to friends. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in Naples. It was an outstanding short stay. What a palace.

Situated in the heart of Ravello, Hotel Villa Fraulo is steps from Bishop's Square and Villa Rufolo. Also nearby are Roman Villa and Paper Mill Museum.

Balcony views are plentiful along this beautiful coast, but little matches Ravello’s panoramic seascape. Steps from the main square of Piazza Vescovado lead to the cathedral of San Pantaleone– don’t miss the fine marble pulpits. Two villas in lovely gardens also deserve a visit. Villa Rufolo holds a summer festival of classical concerts. The belvedere views from the English-style gardens of the Villa Cimbrone are breathtaking.
see all hotels in RavelloLovely stay, well taken care of, staff very helpful. We stayed in a suite and it was lovely, not sure we would want less. A bit noisy at night.
"Charming, wonderful hotel"
Beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms. Staff wonderful. owner friendly and eager to please. Rooms lovely. Had a problem with elevator, but was fixed after one day. Breakfast fabulous. VERY close to center of town.
"Sparkling new"
After 3 night in a VERY EXPENSIVE hotel in Ravello to attend a wedding there, we spent our last night in Hotel Villa Fraulo, which we were told just opened in April of this year. The hotel was beautiful with very helpful staff in a great central location and with beautiful views of the coast. This would have been a good alternate choice for the first […] hotel. While our first hotel was on amazing grounds the cost difference is a little tough to justify by my standards, and just to be clear Hotel Villa Fraulo is not a second tier hotel. My only downside comments is they were still working on some finishing (hanging fire extinguisher) and I'd recommend a room above the third floor to minimize potential street level noise. "Hotel Fraullo - just say yes!"
Close to town center, across the street from the bus stop from Amalfi, next door to the famous Palazzo Sasso. Newly renovated -- beautiful marble bathrooms, shower with 5 jets, room in ivory & tan with a sliding glass door that makes the gorgeous sea view take center stage. "Hotel Villa Fraulo"
Hotel has very good decor, clean and is well presented. Reception staff were excellent and the welcome to the hotel was very good. What let's it down:- 1. Minor items in the room - Loose toilet seat. noisy mini bar fridge 2. Sun bathing terrace and outside dining, share the same area without sufficient screen between them. 3. Not enough staff - general […] hotel service level is very basic, no one offered any drinks whilst sitting out on sun terrace. 4. Plants spoil the view from the pool which should give the effect of an infinity pool. 5. Plants spoil the view of the mountains from room terrace as tables and chairs are quite low. 6. Cooked Breakfast selection was not offered on first day and continental choice was very basic. In conclusion this could be a very good hotel with a little more focus on providing an increased service level. Read more

We booked this beautiful hotel as a result of reviews on this website and were not disappointed. Views from the dining terrace over the Bay of Naples are stunning. Beds are very comfortable, staff are friendly. Try to get a room on one of the higher floors as rooms on the lower floors are subject to some street noise. "Almost perfect"
This hotel is perfectly located with magnificent views over the amalfi coast. My husband and I stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is recently refurbished and good condition. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
"Get in for the soft launch"
We stayed at this hotel a couple of months into the soft launch and it's lovely. Price of hotel room is unbelievable for quality of hotel - we suspect this won't last beyond the soft launch. Reception is not easy to find when you first arrive, but the views from the hotel are stunning, so it is worth persisting. High recommended.
