Had to come into town for a funeral, was very surprised by the how friendly every one was. Also the free breakfast was by far one the best surprises! My family loved making their own waffles!

We love this Hotel. We stayed for 1 night, 2 days and we leave our shopping stuff in room with any problem, nothing stolen. The staff were great. The beds and room in general very good.

Excellent Hotel, and good price, in good location to go to Mercedes Outlets and McAllen, the only bad point is I forgot a shower cap and toth paste and the reception don't have. Overall excellent Choice when McAllen hotels are packed or expensive.

For starters, we had booked two rooms, and they only had one. They solved it giving us an upgrade. The first day of our stay, they did not clean our rooms. Solution, they offered us a free night. So the hotel has its problems, but the manager and the rest of the workers do their best to solve the problems.

Great stay at the Best Western, Texas. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was fantastic! They had 1-2 hot items everyday. We stayed for 6 nights and everyone was helpful. Our TV did not work, and within 30 minutes the maintenance man had brought another one in for us. Great place to stay.

We stayed a week at this hotel. Nice furnishings but since it's a year old, some signs of abuse are showing. The stone top of the chest of drawers/refrigerator/microwave piece had been broken and glued back together. The refrigerator had shelves broken and the door was dented in a couple of places. Must have been some fight in that room! Bathroom big […] and spacious, nice storage underneath. The daily service was good - cleaned and straightened everything up nicely. Breakfast area was big and spacious but breakfasts were dissapointing. No eggs during the week - only the tried and true breads, waffles, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Milk was in a pitcher, not individual servings. Coffee bar stayed open all day and you could go in the room all day. One block away, all homes had bars on the windows so not sure if it's a great neighborhood, but we had no problems. Exit on Hutto for this place - your GPS will take you one exit too far if you just put in the address. Overall, a good experience. Would stay there again. No problems with noise from other rooms. Plenty of outlets in the room for computers, phone chargers, etc. Read more

I had read from other reviews that the staff here were not courteous and helpful, but they went out of their way for us from giving directions, extra pillows, etc. This is an awesome hotel. We drove from Canada to Donna, Texas and have stayed in six hotels in the last week and the Best Western Donna Inn was by far the best hotel of all of them. Hotel was nice, but our air conditioner rattled and the smoke detector was making a crackling noise. The staff said they checked it and would put in a new battery, but it still made the noise. We had to put an ottoman against the air conditioner to keep it from rattleing. The breakfast was good on the weekends, but very sparse on the weekdays. I believe the staff was running some sort of scam. When I arrived at hotel for the first time ever a clerk said they had no record that I had paid Expedia for my room. I showed them my Expedia receipt and he insisted on charging me for the room. The next morning another clerk said that yes Expedia had paid for room and that nobody had charged anything […] to my card. I felt suspicious and when I received my bill the hotel had indeed charged my room. But when I called the hotel again, the clerk who answered said no, no charges had ever been put through their system on that card number. I called my credit card and they immediately accepted my disputed charge as valid and said they would send the hotel no money. Read more

Muy buena estancia, hotel limpio, más cerca de Mercedes, Ross, Wallmart y los Outlest de Rio Grande (Mercedes) que de la salida a McAllen sin embargo al ir de salida pasamos por todo lo que nos faltaba. El desayuno es modesto pero está bien para aguantar hasta la comida, los carritos porta-equipaje hay que estarlos atrapando pues en momentos es difícil […] conseguir uno tanto al arribar como al llevar las compras a la habitación (no hay quien lleve tus maletas a la habitación), ojo con eso debería de haber mas control donde los dejan pues a veces la gente los mete en su habitación y de ahí no los sacan hasta otro día (deberás que falta de consideración hacia los demás). Finalmente la habitación está bien hay mesa y otra mesita, 2 camas, micro, frigo bar pero por Dios se extraña una silla o dos de perdido, no hay donde sentarse en ese cuarto así que espero el hotel haga algo al respecto.
