The hotel itself was a great place to stay at, service was good, room was clean and the location next to a wal-mart is very nice incase you forget... anything. The only couple quibbles I have was a) the breakfast and/or coffee I had one morning caused me to violently throw-up not but 30 minutes or so after I had eaten it and b) the internet is very good but as I am a gamer and played a game online so as to kill time, the connection would falter on me and I would have to either way for a reconnect, or switch to another wireless source. The hotel is decent. The pool is a bit small and doesn't have many lounge chairs. Don't forget to bring your towel to the pool as there are not pool-side towels. Also remember it is still okay to smoke in public in TX, so be sure to ask for a smoke-free room otherwise the folks who are in neighboring rooms may be smokers :(
