our family stayed here on a trip from DC to Corning, NY. the staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. I would definitely stay here again!

Had everything I needed for a short business stay: clean, quiet rooms, a passable business center, free breakfast, restaurant on site for when we didn't want to venture out into the pouring rain, a fridge and microwave in the room, and it was walking distance from Wegman's and the courthouse.

Our hotel stay was what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Staff was friendly, the room was decent. The refrigerator in our room was the loudest appliance of all time. We had to unplug it during the night just to sleep. We had friends staying in other rooms, and theirs were fine, so this is not typical of all the hotel rooms. We were just unlucky. […] Visited the bar for a drink, it was nice but nothing spectacular. Good condition for a Holiday Inn Express. Room was nice and large. Bathroom had a walk-in shower instead of a tub - nice change! Pool was nicely sized, but area could use some additional lighting. The only real issue we had was for the breakfast. The juice machine and the pancake machine broke down and there was no indication they were out of order. People kept trying to use the juice machine until another hotel guest would call to them that the machine was out of order. The person responsible did not appear to be too concerned when she sporadically […] came into the breakfast area. She was not prepared to interact with anyone. Juice decanters were finally brought out, but she needed a member of the management team to oversee her work and push her to be more proactive and look at the situation from the guest's point of view, instead of hers, whatever that was. There were two Holiday Inns on site. When the desk clerk was asked about this, she replied, "One is the Holiday Inn and the other is the Holiday Inn Express." Duh! An answer without any information. I travel for business and spend more time in hotels than in my own home. This staff provided above and beyond professional courtesy and assistance. The hotel's vice president went out of her way to scan and email some important documents for me. It would have been easy for her to say their scanner was not working and that she could not help. Instead, […] she said their scanner was not working but she would borrow one nearby. Within a short time, I received the emailed scans and she made a follow up phone call to insure all went well. The staff seems to have this same above and beyond attitude, which is a direct reflection on the quality of management and ownership. I will tell other travelers that old fashion customer service is alive and well, at least in this facility. Read more

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Williamsport,PA area! The only complaint I have is the breakfast. Go next door to Perkins or Wegmans. Breakfast is no good.

The first room that I was checked into had very thin walls. I could hear the couple next door as if they were in the room with me. I had to have the hotel give me another room. The room was great. Very clean and spacious. I only was dissapointed in the pool. Granted it was a busy weekend for the hotel (Odyssey of the mind compettiona in the area), but the pool was in obvious need of some chemicals and some skimming (cloudy) and there was garbage in around the pool. I booked this room because it was advertised as the newest hotel in Williamsport, booked a suite because I thought I would have a separate bedroom for the baby to sleep in while we could stay up and watch tv..instead it was just an extended room with a pullout in an alcove, the TV was still in front of the beds, and in the same room. It was cloudy and the bottom was sandy and I could feel bits of plastic or something on the bottom... overall, just kind of gross, and tile VERY slippery, and pool bathroom was so disgusting, and dangerous for my 2 yr old, wet polished marble! with bits of toilet paper in the water soo gross. I had a room for two nights as I was to be getting ready for my wedding there. We noticed that the air conditioner was not working correctly, and after sending two people down to complain, they wanted me to switch rooms. I didn't have time, as I was leaving for my wedding, so they offered to have someone come in and move my stuff for me. Uh, absolutely […] not. So, they comped my room the second night. I feel pretty good about that solution, even though it was still pretty hot that night. My one huge complaint with this hotel is that it is confusing as heck. The HI and the HI Express are literally connected, and it's not marked clearly as to which side you're on. Every single person who stayed with me, either on the first or second night, and every person who came to visit me there got lost at one point or another. Very comfortable and clean, only downfall is the elevator is very slow and there's only 1 elevator in the entire hotel!! Also, parking was an issue. There was a wedding there on the night of check in, i had to park in a different hotel!!! The restaurant was tasty and we had a great time at the hotel bar. Would return!!
