"Good value"
We were gathering for a family reunion in Pearland, had no idea where to stay came across the Candlewood Suites. The rate was good for a small kitchenette and a good pull out couch. The working desk was awesome, very roomy if you camre to work. Upon arrival staff was not friendly, just adequate. Suite was clean but the bedroom had a funky odor. Linen […] was clean and fresh. We spend the night there just to have a weekend alone....hotel was overbooked...we had to wait till they transferred someone else to a bigger room so we can get the room they were in...OH THE WALLS ARE SUPER THIN AND THE SMOKE ALARM WAS GOING OFF GOOD THING IT WASNT RINGING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very Disappointed and Frustrated Customer"
I was disappointed because I did not know that this hotel cater to extended stay visits. I was expecting the cleaning service to come in each day or as needed and that was not an option without paying additional charges. My encounter with one of the house keepers was very frustrating because she did not speak English therefore she did not understand […] me, I was just asking for clean towels. Also we had a problem with out bathroom door knob. My daughter and I was stuck in the bathroom, thankfully my husband was in the room to call the front desk to get some help getting us out but when help came all they did was take the knob off the door never returning to replace it while we were there. We WILL NOT consider Candlewood as a place to stay in the future. The general manager was more friendly and more attentive than any I have ever met. The entire staff made me feel as though we had been friends for years.
