We had a 15 hour layover and decided to stay overnight in the hotel. It was wonderful!!! Very nice and quiet. The only problem (though little) was that it was a little unclear on how to get there within the airport.

We stayed at the hotel for one night on arrival because it was so late, then stayed again the night before our departure because of an early flight. The convenience was unbeatable since we were arriving from, and departing to, the US (it's at the US terminal end of the airport). It also allowed us to avoid an extra day of car rental. We picked up the car the morning after our arrival and returned it the night before our departure. The room was clean and the restaurant was good -- if a bit expensive.

The convenience of staying at a hotel inside the airport is wonderful! We stayed the night before our trip as the flight was leaving early as well as upon our return as we arrived after midnight. Everything is new and clean and the beds are very comfortable. I am a light sleeper and found it surprisingly quiet given the location. The only criticism I would have is regarding the staff on Nov 3rd which was not helpful or particularily friendly. As I was with my elderly mother I asked if we could arrange for some kind of help bringing her to the airline check in (as it is a bit of a walk) and was simply told no, that it was the airlines responsibility not the hotels to do this. I later found out there are wheelchairs available and a staffperson can be reserved to assist if needed. My last question that evening was to confirm that if we arrived after midnight on our return that it was not too late to check in. There was a long pause as if I had asked something ridiculous and was told that of course there is always someone at reception. I deliver training sessions on customer service and it is important that the employees are made to realize it may be someone's first visit and they should be treated in a helpful and frendly manner. It is not only what is said that matters, but the tone and attitude are key.

Modern, clean lines. Very friendly staff. I was a little surprised though to have a knock on the door from housekeeping at 9:00 AM on a Saturday morning. Fortunately I was already up. Granted, I didn't have the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the doorknob, but this is the earliest I've encountered this.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The size of the room was incredible and the bath room...well...unreal...The design and layout was great. the only negative thing that I have to say is the entrance. If you are not coming from a fliht then it could be a little tricky however, the staff was more then willing to help me find my way.

Excellent place to stay especially if you have an early flight. Get the Bus # 747 to downtown Montreal outside the airport. it is $8 return and runs all night, mostly every 15 minutes. A great stay.

Although finding two queens and a bath is impossible in this hotel the staff allowed us to use a second room free of charge so that we could bathe our son in a bathtub. 80-90% of the rooms in the hotel have a shower no bathtub. Bathtubs reside only in the handicap accessible rooms. Breakfast in the dining room was excellent. Service was a little slow but we came in after they had officially finished serving breakfast and we were glad they let us come in for the meal. The final touch was the bellhop assisting right up to the gate in the airport. His service was much appreciated and it was extremely helpful to us.

This is the ONLY Montreal Airport hotel actually attached to the Airport terminal. Beware of imitations. They are many, "just a shuttle away." The Marriott has undergone a mega-makeover. The rooms are splendid. And the shower/bath is superb modernism in design and functionality.

We stayed at the hotel Dec 12-14 while attending our daughter's swim meet in Pointe Claire, Quebec. We picked this hotel as it was the only 4 star hotel in the area. The hotel was very nice but completely unsuitable for activities in and around the area. Getting back to the hotel each evening was painful since it required navigating many inner roads without proper signage and invariably took 10 mins longer than indicated by Google Maps/Navigation system. I would recommend staying at this hotel only if you are visit is airport related.

Bed was too hard; Air Con was constant so made a hissing noise all night; heating under the window clicked on and off; car park snow clearing under our window went from 3-4 a.m; in-room WiFi was a ridiculous price. The room bill should have been slipped under our door during the night but wasn't, much to the surprise of the receptionist. Fun to dine in the airport terminal without going outside. Breakfast in the Bijou café was fabulous and not over-priced. Staff were extremely helpful. On balance, this is not a value-for-money hotel.

Had (again) a very good stay at the Marriott Montreal Airport hotel. Hotel is so convenient in the airport it beats the hotel shuttles. Room very large, with nice walk in shower. Very fast and friendly check-in. Could store luggage on day of departure at no cost. If you are a Marriott silver member, or above, you can upgrade to an executive room for $30 extra (this also incl Wifi then, otherwise Wifi is $ 15.95 extra). Easy to get to downtown using bus 747 (direct bus). A 24 hr bus pass, available from machines in the airport is required for this bus and this ticket is also valid for metro and other busses. First stop Lionel Groulx drops you at a metro station from where you can go to downtown or Old Port very easy.

Have stayed there a few times - the hotel is very good but I don't recommend the restaurant - service is extremely slow, even when it's not busy. I mentioned this to the manager but he did not seem too concerned and did not even offer to buy us a drink or pay for part of our meal (this seems to be standard practice in Montreal - don't offer customer anything just in case they might take advantage)

Arrived very late after attending a family wedding. Arranged a wake up call for 6 am. to catch an early flight so only spent five or so hours in the hotel. Very comfortable, only complaint the stopper in the bathroom sink didn't seal.

Hotel is located attached to the terminal as if it's a part of that. No free wifi. Relatively expensive and breakfast was not included. Since most of the guests are transit passengers many oof tthem talk loudly in hall ways and the noise is well heard in the room, on the other hand you don't hear any airplane noises at all.

A brilliant hotel a little out of the way but more then happy to stay. We could see the air terminals and never once heard a plane. Staff was very kind and courteous and the restaurant staff was also super helpful with allergies. We will be staying here again for our next Montreal trip!

When we reserved on-line the reservation was for a room with 2 beds. Once we got to the hotel, the front desk asked if we absolutely needed 2 beds and we answered yes. Once we got to the room there was only 1 bed.... We went back to the front desk and there was nothing they could do for us. We were very disappointed. The hotel should do a better job at managing client's expectations. Other than that, the hotel and room was very nice.

We only booked here because every other hotel was booked on a long weekend. It was crazy over priced and I didn't like the frosted bathroom glass wall. We had breakfast in the morning and it was 100 for 5 of us... and $10 for 2 8oz cups of coffee.. the hotel is a little confusing to get to they need better signs, and we were inconvenienced with the parking machine not having change.

We went to the restaurant Bijou for breakfast. The server told us the buffet was $16 per person and children under 2 were free. After eating, they charged us $25 per person, $10 for the baby who just had milk and 1/2 a muffin...plus tax... total of $70...we complained about the difference in price and they said there was nothing they could do. $70 for coffee and pastries...GET REAL...false advertising

It was pretty disappointing for the price of the hotel and the lack of free wifi. $16 for wifi is outrageous when spending $350 per night

when we first got there, they told us we only get 1 king size bed for 4 people in a room, which is kind of ridiculous but we booked it last minute so can't really complain about that. Don't get scammed by the WiFi internet. when you click on guest login, you type your room number and last name, then you would think its free for a limited amount but then there's another button that says accept and in small print it says fee of $15.95, once u click accept you will be charged, that's the mistake I made. other than that, the hotel is quite decent for the price and convenient because there are a lot of restaurants and stores in the terminal within walking distance (3-5 minutes)
