      The hotel is less than a block from the Sakaemachi station. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. The room was clean and no smaller than a typical hotel in Japan. Staff were friendly and spoke English.

    If I had been to Nagoya before, I would have loved to lounge around this wonderful ryokan all day! The manager is a lovely man who is very polite. Always... has a smile on his face and willing to help you. The room was huge with a shower, TV, computer...! The ambiance of the place was so peaceful! The soft music, the fish, the low lights.     This is a great alternative to staying in monotonous business hotels. Interesting, cultural exchange and Japanese feeling. A great J style breakfast is served and they have a great onsen/sento in the back garden. Yes this place is recommended for business travel or whatever else you might be up to in Japan. Good value.

    An oasis in the middle of a bustling city. The web site does not show its full potential. The front desk staff are very nice. Rooms are a bit tight and lack some storgae space. Wifi was intermitent.

    The location is great and the hotel manager was extremely helpful. The room, and te whole hotel, was lovely. But very hot and there were a lot of mosquitos. We'd love to stay there agin - when the weather is cooler.

    因為是自己駕車前往,找了一會才找到門口,老闆很熱情,房間很大,有温泉浴室,還有自助飲水機,最重要是又安靜又干淨又舒服,有一個很漂亮的很花園,住客都是年輕人很有禮貌,走路到名古屋車站都是十五分鐘,朋友們都說下次再來也要住這裡

    純日本的な宿でいごごちがよかった。バス停のすぐ近くにあり、近くに食事をする店もある。朝食はおいしく満足だった。となりの部屋が騒がしかったが、こちらも家族で小さい子供がいたため、気兼ねなく宿泊することができた。お風呂までの庭が美しく記念撮影用のカメラが設けられており楽しめた。

    Close to Nagoya Station (with Meitestu Train connection directly to the Centrair Airport "NGO") it is only about a 10 minute walk from there. It has a very beautiful garden and a hot bath house hidden in the back. The rooms are very clean and offer everything a traveler needs. The owner Hiro and his staff are very friendly and I can`t wait to go back […] for another couple of days. When I called to let him know of my late flight arrival (plus Immigration procedures and the Meitetsu taking about 30 minutes to Nagoya), he was even willing to keep the front desk open past 9PM to wait for me until I arrived. For some reason not many foreigners seemed to stay at the Ryokan during my 2-day stay, but instead I got to make friends with some Japanese travelers. Read more

    Værelset var rigtig fint og lå lige ud til en smuk lille have. Man skulle gå over nogle trædesten for at komme over til det varme bad, det var rigtig hyggeligt. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen. Ejeren Hiro San er meget hjælpsom og venlig.

    A bit off the map, but great value for a traditional ryokan with a beautiful garden and a onsen attached.
