The location of the hotel is unbeatable. We could hear the bells of the abbey and look out to see the parade grounds. I was initially concerned that a BW may be a big box, but they have sensitively maintained much of the character of the wonderful old hotel while incorporating modern amenities like a full, modern, spacious bathroom. We opted for the breakfast inclusive package and found it to be robust and offering many options. We set out on foot and did the whole city from this great central location.

We stayed 2 weeks. The owner and staff are very efficient, accommodating, and pleasant. The location was perfect and the facility was excellent. We will stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was in an idylic country town which afforded great access to local sites such as Bath. Family was an absolute charm with homey rooms with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast.... Would definitely stay there again....

The Macdonald Bath Spa is lovely, the staff is helpful and attentive. We were automatically upgraded to a suite which was a wonderful surprise. No complaints. Would definitely stay there again.

"Way good place to stay!"
This was an excellent choice for us as it is convenient to all points in he downtown and the staff were excellent.The emnu is a bit small, but great food. I would definitely stay there agin!

"Great hotel in Bristol"
The Future Inn was a great hotel. It was very realsonable priced, the room was clean, and big. The bathroom was very clean and alot of room for two people at he same time. The price was good and the parking was next door at the Cabot Cirsus Mall garage. It was free for hotel guest. The staff were polite and very helpfull. We'll be back again soon.

great location, right in the centre, also the hotels is only a few months old so everything looked really shiny and new. the beds were enormous!! we stayed in a room with a city king, and it is by far the comfiest bed i have ever slept in! bit disappointed with the reception staff, they didn't seem to know bristol very well, and wasn't convinced with […] their restaurant recommendations etc would definately recommend staying here, and would go back in the future Read more
"A brand new hotel in a great location"
I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The location is great if you're interested in shopping and nice restaurants as it's directly opposite the new shopping centre. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. All our questions were answered and even the restaurant staff (there's a chop house downstairs) were keen to help out […] with sight-seeing tips. The room is very comfortable and spacious. Everything you'd expect from an American-style hotel room including tea and coffee facilities, ironing board and iron, hairdryer etc. There's an in-house movie service (though quite expensive. £10 per film! We didn't bother as there is a good range of channels available anyway). The bed was gorgeous (and enormous!!). Air-con is simple to use and works well. The bathroom was clean and again, very roomy. Nice strong, hot shower and decent mini shampoo/body wash supplied. Although there's no room service available the restaurant downstairs will cook and then call your room for collection. It's pretty reasonably priced, although you will struggle to find much to eat if you're vegetarian as it's mainly meat. I will definitely stay here again. Top little hotel for the price. Read more
"Very nice simple brand new hotel"
Check in quick, rooms were fully stocked with tea/coffee etc. Nice TV and huge soft beds. Bathroom was very nice. Meal at Chophouse restuarant located within hotel grounds was pretty good- plenty of other places within easy reach but we couldn't be bothered to travel far. Picked this hotel as it was a reasonable price and near the M32 where I needed to go the next morning. Was pleasantly surprised with the service and comfort of the room. The only things it didn't have were a fridge (but there are tea/coffee-making facilities), a bath (but the shower is great) and free wi-fi access in the room - only wired (which for […] me was better) which is 15 pounds for 24-hours. You can also use free wi-fi in the lobby. It is quiet considering the location and you can take 2 mins to go to any restaurant in Cabot Circus if you don't fancy the hotel bar/restaurant. Read more

"Central location for shops and city centre"
HOTEL: did not feel as new/well-maintained as the other two Future Inns in Cardiff and Plymouth which I really loved. The hotel room not as spacious as in the other locations but it was clean and we had a large king size bed. No bath, only a large shower which was disappointing, the nice girl in reception explained that it wasn't available for the special […] room rate we got. LOCATION: convenient location right in city centre with free parking in Cabot Circus multi-storey car park and close to loads of shops. Most shops and sights in Bristol are located within easy-walking distance so excellent for exploring on foot. We walked from the hotel through the shopping centres to the harbourside and up to the Clifton Suspension Bridge and back down again through the north of the city. Overall the Future inn is excellent value for money, the freedom of the parking system is very good. 1 negative is in the room the lighting system , which is ridiculous because it has 1 setting, which is every light on or no lights on, surely individual bed side lights would not be expensive

Can't fault the hotel or the service. Will definitely stay here again. Parking convenient and main shopping centre (Cabot) 20mtrs away. About 10mins walk to the Waterside area

"Future Inn Bristol - good value for money"
The hotel is in a central location and is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are very obliging and parking is free in the adjacent multi-story. My only criticism is that the full English breakfast could have been hotter but taking into account the very reasonable price, this would not be enough to put us off returning to the hotel in future.

Stayed one night in the Future Inn whilst shopping and meeting friends. The location was absoloutely perfect right in the centre of Cabot Circus and easy to get to from the M4. The standard of the hotel is good being similar to a Hilton or Holiday Inn, clean and comfortable. We opted for the breakfast with reservations after reading some bad reveiws, […] but it was fine, perhaps less choice than other hotels but everything was available from cereals to the full monty! "Brilliant location for shops and restaurants."
Very clean and friendly hotel. Power shower and spacious rooms. The parking is a real bonus. We checked out at 9.30 but had luggage storage and parking until midnight so were able to really make the most of our time in Bristol.

booked adouble room with sofa but room had 2 double beds not one super king as booked. staff were excellent we thought the package was for bed and breakfast as we had to pay separatley for breakfast at checking out. hotel would be better if it had its own car park.

We used to live in Bristol and now return to visit a few times a year. We've chosen the Future Inn 3 times. This time, we stayed in a City King double room for 3 nights. The third night was free, so the price was good. Pros: great location for shopping and for getting around Bristol. Free covered parking, close by (this is worth ££). New hotel, clean […] and bright. Large rooms. Good shower cubicles. Iron and ironing board. Large beds. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Cons: no independent reading lights by the bed. Springy mattresses that cause the other person to bounce a little when one person moves around in the bed. Soft, but slightly lumpy pillows. Air-con switches off when you leave the room and remove the key-card. Bathroom basin plugs don't have chains but are opened by putting your hand in the water and pressing the plug down. Read more

"Fantasic, no nasty surprises"
I've stayed at Future Inn in Cardiff before and Bristol has equally impressed me. They have great size rooms with a bed to match which make staying away on business a bit more of a pleasure. I didnt eat in the hotel but there is a huge shopping area opposite with plenty of the typical restaurant chains. Free wi-fi in lobby although room wifi is a little […] expensive. Not great for parking although free parking is aviaible nearby after 6pm if the company aren't paying! Overall one of the most comfortable hotel rooms I've stayed in which have an amarican style in terms of their size/space. Read more

Stayed here a few times but this time we were put on the 4th floor which was no problem but there was like a smell of stale urine in the corridor never had this on previous stays but was off putting was glad it was just the one night stay. Very convenient for Cabot's Circus and Broadmead shopping. Our room was very good with a HUGE bed, and being on the side away from the road would have been very quiet had it not been for the hen party revellers along the corridor! We had a very good deal for three nights and thought it excellent value, the biggest plus being the free parking which even […] extended for the rest of the day after you checked out. We stayed one night and found the room to be very comfortable, we had a king size bed which was great and the bathroom was well fitted, looked nice and everything worked. It wasm extremely good value and conveniently located right opposite the main shopping district and a short walk from the town centre.

Very modern and well presented hotel, staff upon arrival were excellent, parking facilities are free (with some rooms) and is monitored 24 hours and all this within walking distance of Cabot Circus!!
