On the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park
Thorney Hall is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, secluded and tranquil, yet less than 2 miles from the town of Leyburn. Wensleydale is the valley (dale) of the River Ure on the east side of the Pennines in North Yorkshire, a common destination for visitors who like walking on mountains, moorland, dale-sides, and valley bottoms. A high moorland lake called Semer Water is famous for boating, water-skiing and fishing.
Country House B&B
Leading from Thorney Hall's grand entrance hall is the elegant dining room furnished with beautiful antiques, offering the ideal setting for the perfect meal. In the evening, guests may relax in the hall on sumptuous soft furnishings in front of a warming log fire.
