The room was clean and comfortable, but small. Fairly convenient to town - you could walk to the shops easily. Quite a ways from the beach, so you would need to drive or taxi.

We booked this hotel at the last minute on a snap decision to spend the night in Byron. We missed their check-in deadline of 7pm, which didnt turn out to be a problem as the staff had left our room key with the night manager, who we contacted upon our arrival by lifting the phone outside the building. The hotel is older, but we found the room to be […] surprisingly better than expected with a large flat screen television and comfortable, clean bedding. Some amenities were provided; soap, shampoo, coffee & tea facilities and all of the basic essentials, such as hair dryer, iron & ironing bored. Free parking was a bonus as parking is horrendous everywhere in Byron. The property has no lifts, so may not be suitable for elderly or mobility-impaired guests. The check-out time of 10am is a little early, 11am or 12pm would be nicer. But otherwise, this is a great little hotel at an affordable price located right near woolworths and close to town. Reception closed when I arrived just after 8pm and was still closed when i left the hotel at 7:30am the next morning to find breakfast as they have no options onsite. Bed soft and bad smell from bathroom floor drain which meant I had to poor water down it to make the smell go away.

we stayed in the apartments with 5 girls and found it perfect for us. There was plenty of space, full kitchen facilities, great pool and tennis court. It's a great location about 15 min walk to the beach and just opposite one of the popular night spots. WE loved our stay here and def would stay again

We had a 2 brm apartment (4 adults) which was located next door to the Resort and looks nothing like the picture - imagine square concrete 2 storey box! This building is a bit tired but having said that, it was clean and very big, so suited us in size very nicely. It had 2 bathrooms which was great and comfy furniture. It was also very quiet. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Didn't have time to use the pool unfortunately. Walking distance to the town and to the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Guest washing facilities very useful as we were travelling on. Only had one night but would definitely use again.

Great hotel, wifi to stay connected, spa, pool, friendly staff, parking, and within walking distance to town (on southern end of main road but quieter than been in centre). Hallways echo so some noise, but we were there at a quieter time so not an issue. Overall a great stay!

The hotel is nice. The place smells a bit weird and looks quite old on the inside. I was a bit shocked to find out that the picture they use on the website for the hotel isn't infact the hotel at all! The location of the image here is about a 20 minute walk away from the hotel. Location is still quite good though. The rooms were clean but small, with […] a little baloney. The pool was heated which was awesome, but if you want extra towels or ask for anything from reception, they tell you to go down and get it from reception yourself so don't expect someone to come up to your room for you. Overall, it was a nice stay for the price. The place just needed a bit more natural air inside, and maybe the staff should actually drop things off to you when you ask for it, i don't think they know the meaning of room service. Read more
