We had comfortable 9 days in this waterfront property. It is not luxury but it is very comfortable and a very good value for money. Facilites were adequate and the location is one of the best in Gold Coast.

Location is nice. Can do cooking in the hotel. Hotel facilities is fair but service is not very well. Need to pay extra if need to change towels, etc even you stay 4 nights..

I don't think much of this hotel at all, way to noisy bathroom had hair everywhere, the room stunk if you need extra towels you have to pay, everything was an effort for staff would not recommend I should have read all reviews it's Cheap and nasty only good thing about this place is the location that's awesome.

The hotel isn't very well maintained and the rooms are very old. There isn't any room service which is fine for the price you pay. The photos advertised looked nothing like our room, we had mouldy curtains and the couch was stained. I'd like to see the room that these photos are taken from. location was great, very easy to walk cavill mall and beach just across the road. room needed a bit of tlc as it showed its age especially the balcony doors that wouldn't close and they rattled all night. didn't use the pool or spa as it was raining all weekend and didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on them.

WORST HOTEL EVER!! I would NEVER stay here again! The staff was awful and unfriendly. Our first issues began with the sofa bed. On expedia, it listed that there was a sofa bed included. When we went to use it, there were no sheets and when we asked for sheets, they told us that we have to pay a fee for them ($30/day). This made me unhappy and when […] I told the manager about it and indicated that it was listed on the expedia site, she basically told me that they are unwilling to do anything about it. Then I showed her the site and quoted that the site says the following: "This room overlooks the ocean or beach. Signature bedding, cotton linens, and a sofa bed invite a good night's sleep." She was rude and said this is how the hotel operates and if I wanted sheets, I have to pay for them. We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and they told me that if I wanted my room cleaned that it was an additional charge. The expedia site did not say that. On the 3rd day, I needed a new towel and I requested one and then I was told that I will be charged $3 for the towel if I needed a clean one. Our room was above the restaurant, so our room smelt like fried onions all day! The room was also kept in poor condition. There was random loose hair in the sheets and all over the sofa. Most of the metal in the room was rusted. The room looks very worn down. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES! This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from our room of the beach and pool was spectacular. It was great to have a restaurant on the ground floor, which we utilised for breakfast and dinner. We also enjoyed a few drinks from the bar, while we relaxed by the pool. The only thing I would recommend, is if they could have a portable fan for use in the […] lounge room, as it was quite hot when we stayed and a fan would have been a great help while trying to get to sleep. I must admit I was slightly hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews but the minute we stepped into our room we were blown away by the 270 degree view of the ocean and the gold coast. We were greeted by friendly reception staff and were more than happy to assist with special requests. Even during schoolies (which we are not) it was remarkably quiet! Delightfully located with views even from the bath and shower!!! We were impressed with the local knowledge and friendliness of the staff as well as their attention to the needs of both the school leavers and other guests. Would I recommend the hotel? Absolutely! Had a great experience, staff very helpful and friendly, even while schoolies was taking place. Noise was at bar minimum and not a problem. Pool area was kept very clean and tidy.
